Game: Around the World Pinball Challenge D82
Goal: Attempt to play every machine in D82, use strategy to get the most machine wins
I'm targetting the intermediate players, those above 1000 IPFA points for this beta test of this tourney/challenge (Class B).
If the below 1000 wizards want to play along, they are welcome to in a different class. (Class A)
There is no cost, we play during a flipper friday. I'm targetting 5/14/2021 friday to run this.
Since this is a beta test, I didn't want to invite the entire D82 group, just a handful of my fav players.
Overview 5:45pm Start 6:00pm Ends 09:00pm (or longer?)
Rules:
It is suggested to do single player, but you may play a machine with others
You must play all balls, you cannot turn off or leave a game, you may tilt
If you do not play a machine, you get a zero for that machine
Play fast, you have about 2:30 minutes per machine @ 4 hours for 103 machines... 1:45 @ 3 hours.
Record you score accurately and honest on your score card
In the event of a tie for 1st, each player receives a point (those in the tie)
In the event of a minor malfunction, deal with it, tilt if you have to get the ball free
In the event of a major malfunction, the machine will be taken out of play
Choose your games wisely, you likely won't finish all games, use strategy
You may play a machine as many times as you want (sort of crazy but legal)
Recording scores will be based on the trust system, no photos needed
At the 10pm point, play your machine you're on to end (unless we are kicked out)
After we are done, whomever has the highest score on each machine receives 1 point for that machine win
Score totals, the person with the most points (after the 10pm end), wins
No official breaks, you may take whatever breaks you want or play as casual as you want, or frenzy away
End of night score tallying may take a bit of time, have to figure that out at 10:01 on Friday. :)
Hope you can join us...
