Title                                (Year)      {Genre}          [Rating]
--------------------START of Most Recent--------------------------------------   ()   {---}
Arthur The King   (2022)   {Adventure, Sport}  [7]
Mark Walberg, Nathaline Emmanuel and Simi Liu are adventurer racers, set in the Dominican Republic, this 425 mile race is one of the most challenging on the planet. Based on a true story, when the team meets a stray dog on the course that joins and helps them. It's a cute movie, but I feel it lacked a little in storyline, some forced drama, overall not a bad movie.

Voicemails for Isabelle   (2026)   {RomCom}  [8]
Zoey Deutch plays Jill, a pastry chef that likes to leave corny voicemails for her sister. When her sister suddenly passes, to cope, she continues to leave voicemails, talking about her day to day drama and funny stories, only to be intercepted by the phone number's new owner Wes. This is a great premise, I really liked this story and the Jill character. If you're a RomCom type, you'll like this movie for sure!

Spoiler Alert   (2022)   {RomComDram}  [8]
Based on a true story, it chronicles the 13-year relationship between journalist Michael Ausiello (Jim Parsons) and photographer Kit Cowan (Ben Aldridge), and a cancer diagnosis that changes their lives. It's a good movie, good story, interesting story line, it definitely is a chronicling, and it's well worth the view.

Soul Surfer   (2011)   {}  [8]
A competitive surfer loses her arm to a shark and works to get back in the water and back into surfing completions. Based on a true story, this is a MUST SEE !

Extinct   (2021)   {Family, Comedy, Animation}  [6]
Two fluffy, donut-shaped creatures called "flummels" from 1835 Galapagos Islands, accidentally time-travel to modern-day Shanghai, where they discover their entire species went extinct due to a volcanic eruption. This is one for the kiddo's, they will love it, as it is not as good as Pixar/Disney, the story was mediocre, it had some cute parts and a fairly good story.

Tortilla Soup   (2001)   {Comedy, Romance, Drama }  [6]
An aging Latino chef is losing his sense of taste while he balances his life with his 3 older daughters under his roof. You have a religious school teacher, the business women that wants to cook, and the pre-college kid still trying to find herself, all living with a controlling papa chef that goes overboard on Sunday dinners. The writer/director really pushed the romance of cooking and family. Honestly, there wasn't much of a story, just the lives of he and his daughters. I liked it, but it lacked true substance, no real climax, more like a bunch of mini ones, sort of a vanilla story and storyline but it wasn't bad, heartwarming and cute. Not sure I would call it a comedy, and it's definitely not a true romcom.

The Hitman's BodyGuard   (2017)   {Action, Comedy}  [11]
When an elite protection agent (Ryan Reynolds) loses a client, he loses his triple A status, loses his GF, and now is working the bottom of the barrel protection jobs. When a hit man needs to testify against some very bad people, and Interpol is compromised, who you going to call? A snarky but very talented bodyguard, to protect the world renown hit man Samuel L Jackson. This is one of the best Ryan Reynolds movies out there IMO, the banter between these two, the action, the shoot outs, the chase scenes, it's got it all and an incredible story and storyline. What I love most about this, it it is funny as hell, and yet so full of action and shootouts, this is a MUST SEE including the next movie "The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard" !

Can You See Us   (2022)   {Drama, Music, True Story}  [7]
When an albino baby is born to an African couple, the father abandons wife, leaving her only a taxi cab ride to nowhere with nothing but a baby. A few years later, bullied by school mates and neighbors, this kid just wants to play and have friends, but is shunned and ignored by most, bullied and cast out. The tragic story is good, it has merit, as for the storyline, the transitions are rough, timeline continuity is like a bumpy ride, and some of the logistics are kinda off and doesn't flow smoothly. Based on a true story of John Chiti, an albino musician from Zambia. I honestly liked it, maybe I'm being overly critical of the director, but this could have been way better with the right writers/directors. I'm always a sucker for an underdog movie, as I was a computer geek terribly bullied and shunned in my school years. It's also a origin story of a musician put thru hell to get where he is today. Bullied and Musician, that's 2 counts for Bret Mon likes. I say you should really watch this, take it with a grain of salt, it deserves a viewing.

Jonathan   (2022)   {Cerebral, Drama, SciFi, Thriller}  [9]
Ansel Elgort plays a young man (John / Jonathan) that has 2 personalities living in the same body (brothers), each living 12 hours per day, they communicate thru video tapes they make each day. All is fine until one of the lies and breaks rules. I love how this was done, how they cut back and forth between the personalities. This was a bizarre story, very unique, I loved it, MUST SEE.

Ticket to Paradise   (2022)   {RomCom}  [8]
When their daughter (Kiatlyn Denver) meets a man on a vacation and decides to marry him, the divorced parents Julia Roberts and George Clooney make a pact to like each other for a short time so they can show up to thwart the wedding held in Bali. This was a cute rom com, the story was fairly good and storyline well played. I would have loved to see more comedy, it has some dry parts in it that they could have easily filled with more cute segments, but overall a good watch.

Jackass 3D   (2010)   {Comedy, Prank}  [6]
The boys are back and they are in 3D. If you like Jackass, you'll like every one of their movies. I love the stunts, I hate the pukes and pranks, some crazy stuff and plenty of LOL and cringe. Unfortunately you will need some special 3d glasses to see it in 3D, which I don't have, but it's still a good flick in 2D.

Supergirl   (2026)   {SciFi, SuperHero, Action}  [8]
Still traumatized by her planet dying, she spends her days pub crawling in another solar system with a red sun, when she interveins in a bully situation. Take the movie Hancock and MadMax and you got Super Girl. Nearly the entire movie was in another solar system, didn't feel like a superman movie, more like a space thriller. I liked it, but they strayed from the original story a bit, some parts cringe, the whole movie kinda dark like all DC movies, but overall, taking it with a grain of salt, it's not a bad movie and work the view.

Smallfoot   (2018)   {Animation, Comedy, Musical}  [7]
This WB animation slapstick comedy is about a tribe of Yeti's living inside a mountain in the clouds. Migo accidentally runs into a human "a small foot" outside the mountain and trys to convince his fellow yeti's of the encounter. It's a cute movie I think your kids will like, I did enjoy the story and storyline, but the music wasn't a hit with me.

Moonfall   (2022)   {SciFi, Action}  [8]
The moon mysteriously is knocked out of its orbit and heading towards earth. At first I didn't care for this as their physics and story seemed a bit off, but the 2nd half of the movie really made a comeback of what would happen if the moon got crazy close to the earth, all the effects and events it would cause. Once you get past the bad science in a few places, it's actually a fairly good sci-fi adventure.

Altered   (2024)   {SciFi, Action}  [2]
In a world of genetic manipulation, 10% of people cannot get enhancements and are deemed "special". 2 Special rebels are doing rebellious things, they build a super suit called flower power, which is like iron man and Ivy from batman, shoots vines and other things. The idea of this film was spot on, but the writer, the directory and the actors all shit the bed on this POS. The story had potential and with better storyline, things would have been better. I had to turn it off and couldn't watch anymore.

--------------------END of Most Recent--------------------------------------   ()   {---}  [---]

The Hunger Games 4 - Mocking Jay Part 2   (2025)   {Action, Thriller, SciFi}  [9]
The final chapter, as the rebellion gains popularity, after a great loss, Katniss is on a mission to assassinate Snow. This one has a lot of action, plenty of twists and quite the ending.

The Hunger Games 3 - Mocking Jay Part 1   (2014)   {Action, Thriller, SciFi}  [10]
Installment 3 of 4, Katniss is on the run and she's being groomed to be the leader face of the rebellion. It's good and keeps with the story.

The Hunger Games 2 - Catching Fire   (2013)   {Action, Thriller, SciFi}  [10]
Installment 2, this one has a great story and story line, the victors go on tour and the districts are not happy, and Katniss again pisses off Snow, inspiring another hunger games. This one is pretty good, great story and storyline, not to mention effects, all 4 movies are must see. it's a great epic story.

The Boss   (2016)   {Comedy}  [6]
One of the richest business women loses her wealth, she steps in and competes against girl scout cookies to build a business. It's a cute flick, it's Melissa McCarty comedy, so take it at face value. It's campy and cute, if you like Melissa comedies. Co stars Peter Dinklage and Kristen Bell add a little juice to this comedy.

Orinary Angels   (2024)   {Drama}  [8]
Based on a true story, a man (Alan Ritchson) loses his wife to cancer, 5 years later his young daughter needs a liver soon and he's far behind in hospital bills. A women (Hillary Swank) randomly shows up and uses her prowess to help the family. This was a good drama, multi-faceted, and feel good. Hillary and Alan give stunning performances, I liked this film.

The Hunger Games   (2012)   {Action, Thriller, SciFi}  [11]
Jennifer Lawrence lives in a district that barely has food, she and other young adults are chosen to battle to the death in the Hunger Games. Great movie and a must see! Very original idea and great effects and storyline.

72 Hours   (2026)   {Comedy}  [7]
Kevin Hart is about to lose his marketing job due to his lack of Gen Z experience, when he accidentally receives a text invite to a bachelor party, and decides to attend. It's a crazy cute Kevin Hart comedy, goofy and campy and a cute watch.

Minority report   (2002)   {Thriller, Action}  [11]
Police in the future, see a vague picture of the murderous events, to try to stop the crimes before they happen via 3 psychics. Tom Cruise gives a great performance and this is a Must See. This story is deep and just beautiful and the story line is excellent.

Room   (2015)   {Thriller, Drama}  [11]
Brie Larson gives a stunning performance, playing a girl who is kidnapped and held in a small shed against her will. During her captivity and multiple rapes, she births a child. Over time the child grows, only knowing the world of "The Room", never going outside, doesn't understand what the world is past the room. The show is super focused on the child's perspective of the room, but also the girl trying to recover from her captivity. This is an incredible story, a MUST SEE. I absolutely loved the idea, the story and the storyline. Though some parts are disturbing, the core story itself it beautiful and kudos to the writer/director.

Masters of the Universe   (2026)   {Fantasy, SciFi, Action}  [4]
Live action of the cartoon Masters of the Universe. Young prince Adam is sent to Earth alone during a Skeletor attack, and he loses the sword to get back to Eternia. 15 years later he finds the sword on Earth and cue the monsters and storyline. I didn't care for this story, it was poorly done and some purists are not going to like it. They added a bunch of subtle jokes that turned me off. The action fight scenes were great, but the story itself just kinda sucked. Cast was good, video and sound great, action sequences great, story and storyline sucked.

Little House On The Prairie   (2026)   {Western, Drama}  [9]
This adaptation is a little off than the TV series from 80s as it is an origin story more so. It's set in Wisconsin, the family is leaving to move to Kanas where they are giving away land for free. The first episode was mostly the rugged trip to get there and character introductions. The old Midwest was harsh and things didn't come easy. The Ingalls cannot go back and it's a one way trip. I liked it very much, but it didn't feel like the Ingalls family that we know and love. They could have easily made this an independent story it was very good, not sure why they needed to brand it Little House On The Prairie when it stands alone as a great series. A fair portrayal of life 150 years ago, a good solid movie and I highly suggest watching.

The Tick   (2001)   {Hero, Action, SciFi, Comedy}  [4]
Patrick Warburton plays The Tick, maybe my humor has changed over the years, but I didn't find this entertaining. I've heard so many people say The Tick is a great comic, but I just feel Patrick (whom I do really like) did not embody The Tick properly, or maybe it was that and a combo of direction, the writing, story/storyline but I didn't care for it. I am not even sure I made it thru the entire first episode, it was just not my cup of tea. There is a difference between a good campy goofy story and stupidity comedy, this was stupidity. The 2016 version is WAY better.

The Tick   (2016)   {Hero, Action, SciFi, Comedy}  [8]
I have to admit, I wasn't a fan before, I didn't care for The Tick 2001, but this 2 season series 2016 is great. It was a slow origin story build up, it was a solid and not stupid story like the 2001 version, but totally worth the wait. This is a great binge, and I suggest a Must See. It's campy, goofy, and keeps my attention. Good story and story line, good acting, way better than the 2001 version, this story makes more sense and flows much better.

Violent Night   (2022)   {Comedy, Action}  [8]
When a gang of organized thugs come to steal millions from a wealthy family on Christmas, who's to stop them? Bad ass Santa Claus, that's who. This movie has plenty of blood, violence and action. This isn't a children’s movie. If you like action, fights, and plenty of blood, this movie is for you. I highly suggest it!

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes   (2023)   {Action, Adventure}  [7]
Origin story / prequel to the Hunger Games. We see a young Snow mentoring the hunger games, assigned to Lucy Grey (Rachel Zegler) from district 12. This 3 part story shows us an early version of the hunger games, the origin story of Snow. At first I didn't care for it, but it turned out to be a good story once I realized it was an prequel and not all about the games, more of an origin story and very well done.

The Hawk   (2026)   {Sports, Comedy}  [7]
In this Netflix series, Will Ferrell is a self-absorbed washed up pro golfer Lonnie Hawkins (The Hawk), trying to work his way back up to the PGA. Golf has always been his number #1 love in life, his estranged son and wife came 2nd to his career. Take Happy Gilmore, Will Ferrell humor and the Big Lebowski crazy antics, and you have "The Hawk". I'm not a big fan of Will Ferrell and this feels a little bit like a rip off of Happy Gilmore, but it's not bad, worth a binge, especially a hangover binge. It stands up on its own, it's moderately funny.

80 for Brady   (2023)   {Sports, Comedy}  [7]
Four older women (Lily Tomlin, Sally Field, Jane Fonda and Rita Moreno) are die-hard NFL Patriots / Tom Brady fans and they decide to go to the Super Bowl to see their favorite team play. It's a light hearted comedy, based on a true story of the adventure. It was nice, I think they could have had more funny parts, it was moderately cute. I say worth the watch if you want to enjoy an adorable, good feeling movie with some of the best elder comedic actresses on the planet. Plenty of cameos by other actors and NFL players.

Song Sung Blues   (2025)   {Music, Romance, Drama}  [9]
Hugh Jackman plays a musician impersonating popular singers from the past, he refuses to do a Don Ho bit because it's beneath him. He meets Kate Hudson, whom explains how she just wants to perform for people, while in a demeaning Patsy Klein outfit, even though she's a very good singer and should be doing much more with her abilities. Empowered by her talent and gumption to perform, he gets energized and focuses on a Neil Diamond tribute with her help. What I didn't realize is this is based on a true story, and the story went in a direction I didn't realize and made this an incredible movie. Kate and Hugh did an incredible job. I am totally energized by the music aspect in this movie and I'm the same way, it's not about the money or fame, it's about making music and performing. I totally can relate to part of this film, for those that aren't musicians or performers, maybe you won't, but there is so much more to it than just the music, it's the lives of the real people that made this happen. MUST SEE!

Exploding Kittens   (2024)   {Animation, Adult Comedy}  [5]
9 Episodes based on the card game, God is turned into a cat and has to go to Earth to try and help people. It's off brand twisted goofy kind of humor, kind of like Ren and Stimpy.

I.S.S.   (2023)   {Sci-Fi, Thriller}  [8]
A nuclear war breaks out between Russia and USA, leaving 6 astronauts on the station ordered by the corresponding country to take over the station at any cost. Tempers flare, lying, deception between the 2 sides while comms are down with ground. This was a pretty good movie, worth the watch. Kind of disturbing, the thought of a war stranding astronauts on the ISS station to battle each other at all costs.

She's The One   (1996)   {RomCom, Drama}  [7]
2 young men and father in New Jersey traverse relationships, marriage, cheating, scandals and divorce. Starring Jennifer Aniston and Camron Diaz, this was a cute and not typical RomCom. There are a few twists that make this a good story. I didn't care for the boys characters in the story, they seem like schmucks, but it does add to the story and needed. I would suggest a view, I liked it.

I'm Thinking Of Ending Things   (2020)   {Cerebral, Drama}  [2]
A young woman goes for a car ride with her boyfriend in a snow storm to meet his parents. In the process, she debates ending things as she speaks to herself internally. There are plenty of discussions and debates, internal thoughts, as she likes him but isn't in love with him. In the process, she notices odd things happening that don't add up. The whole movie seems like a dream or confusing nightmare, facts, memories and time don't add up, it's very cerebral and odd. It reminds me a little of Jacob's Ladder, like watching an LSD nightmare. I found it sort of disturbing and too cerebral for my tastes as you spend the entire movie trying to figure out what's going on. I didn't find it very entertaining and I didn't care for it. I had to google to get answers to what the movie was really about. Kudos to the main characters, they have a LOT of dialog, it's 2.25 hours of talk talk talk and weird shit happening. This might be a 2-3 gummy kind of movie if you plan to watch it.

The Vow   (2012)   {RomCom, Drama}  [10]
Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum are married lovebirds, until an accident leaves her with a brain injury. She wakes in the hospital with no idea she's married, no idea who her husband is and 5 years of her life are just gone. This is an incredible story, and Rachel and Channing both do an excellent job. Great storyline, this is an excellent movie and a Must See! The struggles both of them have in the absence of her memories makes for a great story, very good drama. I wouldn't consider this a typical RomCom, there was a few funny parts, but mostly just a pseudo tragic story of a husband losing his wife mentally and the wife trying to accommodate the husband trying to get to know him.

Front of the Class   (2008)   {Dramedy, Biography}  [11]
Based on a true Brad Cohen story, a boy/man with Tourette’s syndrome refuses to let his affliction win, working hard to become an incredible teacher of 2nd graders. Back in the 70's/80's Tourette's wasn't overly known, so most people didn't understand why he acted out. This is a great feel good movie, an incredible story and a MUST SEE. James Wolk puts on a stunning performance, closely coached by real life Brad himself, to give the most accurate depiction of his life with Tourette’s. I absolutely loved this movie, inspiring, lovely, heartwarming. The story and storyline are both wonderful, inspiring and uplifting music, just an all-around superb movie. Kudos to director, writer and Brad for making this gem!

Drinking Buddies   (2013)   {Dry-ma, Dramedy}  [5]
Olivia Wild is a brewery worker with platonic work/beer buddies that flirt and hang out. This is a very dry comedy, so dry I don't know how it is labeled a comedy, it is just a story about some people’s lives in the brewery and in the bars. This one is hard to genre, as it wasn't a comedy, barely a romance. Anti-RomComDram? I mean it was very vanilla, exploring the intricacies of friendships and relationships in a very dry manner, like was question if there even was a script or the actors just made it up as they went. It was like being on a blind date and you run out of things to talk about. It was like a pint of air instead of beer, lacking substance, the story really lacked any type of entertainment value. With that said, after watching the entire thing, I kinda liked the ending, but most of the movie I was waiting for some comedy, drama or romance, something, anything. If I had to nutshell it, it's a "Dry / Beer Drama". Almost every scene they are drinking a beer, these people are pretty skinny for the amount of beer they drink. You get to see Olivia's boobs for a short time, that was probably the highlight of the movie. Oh... Dry-ma (dry drama), that would be a good genre.

Nope   (2022)   {Horror, SciFi}  [8]
A brother and sister try to keep a horse training stable profitable after the fathers strange death. After witnessing a UFO in the clouds, they try to capture a photo/video to make money, only to find out it's not what they thought it was. Horror might be a harsh genre for this one. This was a rush for a movie, it started out really slow with character development but you will want to stay interested as it's quite the trip for a movie. I say a Must See if you are a horror or freaky sci-fi person. I didn't like it at first, fell in love with it after watching the whole thing. Directed by Jordan Peele, it's a trip of a movie.

Little Brother   (2026)   {Comedy}  [7]
A famous real estate (John Cena) man's life is interrupted when his little brother (Eric Andre) from the past randomly shows up one day after 30 years of not seeing him. The core story is fairly good, but some of the storyline was lacking. It was cute, but could have been even better, it's worth a view, there are some cute parts, some cringe parts. I'm not sure Eric Andre was the best choice for the little brother, his acting is sometimes on, other times off. John Cena did a great job portraying a stressed out real estate agent.

Borat   (2006)   {Comedy, Mockumentary}  [5]
A foreign man does a documentary for his home country, not knowing much about USA and its day to day practices, he treks across the country to meet Pamela Anderson and had many off adventures. Goofy and kinda bad, but worth a watch, it's WTF meets OMG. Real interactions with non-actors, it's a little bit out there.

Bench Warmers   (2006)   {Comedy, Sports}  [5]
A Happy Madison production, so we know there will be some laughs. A man good at baseball meets up with 2 geeks that have no skills. When the geeks were bullied by locals kids, the man steps in and eventually takes them under his wing and teaches them how to baseball properly, after a challenge was demanded by the others. It's a goofy, kinda predictable, yet cute kind of movie. It had some funny parts, but this was 20 years ago, before Happy Madison matured and got better. Right now you have the comedy of David Spade, Rob Schneider, Jon Heder, Nick Swardson, Jon Lovitz and a few others... thus the dry campy jokes and scenes. A few eye rolls, but overall, I found it entertaining and cute, light comedy, a few LOLs.

Flight World War II   (2014)   {Historical, Action, SciFi}  [2]
A modern day airliner flies thru a storm into the past, into 1940 war zone, in this low budget film. This is sort of a POS from start to finish, which I didn't watch till end. Now, if this is an Indie film, I would score it better and would be impressed, but as a true movie in my rating system, it's a rough one. 2nd rate acting, poor storyline, meh story, poor name, terrible historical inaccuracies (commenters on rotten tomatoes ripping them apart), physics/science inaccuracies, it's just bad on all fronts (pun intended). Honestly, this had potential, but it lacked pizazz, just needed a better writer and director and tweaks to story, it was executed badly. Not worth your time, I would skip it, it's cluttered with non-story scenes for fill, it lacks substance, forced drama and just not entertaining. My eyes actually hurt from eye rolling too much. I honestly only watched 20-30 min of it, it was rough. If you're into bad cult classic style movies with bad everything then this is the movie for you. Just don't break an eyeball rolling your eyes.

War Machine   (2026)   {Action, SciFi}  [8]
A solder hurt in combat, two years later, tries to become a Ranger giving 120%. In the final test, the simulation mission is much more real and unearthly than it should be. This was a pretty good story and very action packed. Pretty good flick if you like action films, starring Alan Ritchson and Denis Quaid, a movie about going against incredible odds.

Next Gen   (2018)   {Family, SciFi, Animation}  [7]
In a world where robots are personal assistants and companions, a trouble young girl is bullied at school and is angry about her parents split. A rogue robot with weapon systems breaks out of a lab, naïve to its true programming, imprints on her and follows her home to protect her and be a faithful companion helper robot. Now that she's got a weapon against the other bully robots, it's payback time. This was a good animation, the story was fairly sound and some good action and storyline. If you look past some of the convenient storyline, predictability or a few forced drama portions, I think it's worth a view with the family or if you like to watch animations alone, it's good and entertaining.

Avatar: The Last Air Bender Season 1   (2024)   {Fantasy, Comedy, Live Action}  [8]
Live Action, if you're familiar with The Last Air Bender animated series, there was also a Movie that didn’t go over well with critics, even though I thought it was good. This is probably the best iteration of story. We meet a young boy Aang frozen in time, he is an Air Bender from 100 years ago and will become the Avatar, training to become a super human by learning all the facets of bending, Fire, Water, Earth and Air. Thrown into a War the Fire Benders started, it will take everything he has to stop the Fire Benders from destroying the water tribe. This is a really good fantasy show and this kept pretty close to the animated series, good acting, effects and story, I suggest a must see! Chapter 1: WATER, he must learn how to master water.

Avatar: The Last Air Bender Season 2   (2026)   {Fantasy, Comedy, Live Action}  [8]
Live Action, if you're familiar with The Last Air Bender animated series, this is the 2nd chapter, Chapter 2: EARTH. Aang needs to find an Earth bending teacher to learn the next displace. This story broke from the animated series slightly, but still very good, at least I think it did as I don't quite remember the events. You get to meet the Blind Toff, master at Earth bending, and a snarky teacher. This time, the Earth bender city is being infiltrated and he must stop the Fire Benders from destroying the Earth Tribe, very good story, storyline and effects!

Avatar: The Last Air Bender Season 3   (2027)   {Fantasy, Comedy, Live Action}  [8]
Live Action, not released yet, but this is Chapter 3: FIRE, and the last of the series. Aang must secretly learn fire bending so he can protect the world from war as the all-powerful Avatar, confront the Fire nation as the red comet gets near and gives fire benders great power.

The Theory of Everything   (2014)   {Romance, Drama}  [9]
A movie about Steven Hawking's life, Eddie Redmayne (Jupiter Ascending) gives a STUNNING performance playing Stephen Hawking, and Felicity Joes (Rogue One) is right alongside him as his wife. What a tragic story and yet a beautiful one. Put closed captioning on, you'll need it. Must See.

Ella Enchanted   (2004)   {Fantasy, Comedy, Drama}  [11]
Anne Hathaway is a crying baby is cursed by her fairy godmother to be obedient, so she must follow every command anyone says to her. Years later, when some evil sisters realize she can be controlled and does everything she's told, she is abused and forced to do things. She goes on a quest to find a way to break the curse. This pseudo Cinderella story is just beautiful. I fell in love with Anne in this movie, it's wholesome and just an original story that is just the perfects storybook story. Anne actually sings a queen song and it's fricken awesome, not many people know she is a great singer. I loved this movie, suggested that kids be over 8, this PG could be a family movie (realize there are some crude jokes) otherwise. This is a Must See in my book (pun intended)! Great original story, the storyline never breaks down and you are entertained from start to finish, just a beautiful movie.

The Answer Man   (2009)   {RomCom}  [8]
A rude, crotchety, and famous writer (Jeff Daniels) lives in solitude, frustratingly failing at attempts to communicate with GOD after writing a book about talking to GOD 20 years earlier. He hurts his back and goes to the new town chiro (Lauren Graham) and as he gets chiro sessions and relief from the pain, starts to become less crotchety and becomes more social with her and others. I really liked this film, it's not your typical RomCom, I really love the comedy, with his sarcasm and witty negativity. A Must See.

Day Shift   (2022)   {Action, Horror, Comedy}  [8]
Jamie Foxx stars as a vampire hunter disguised as a pool boy. When he needs to make quick bucks to keep his ex-wife and daughter from moving to Florida, he rejoins his old vampire group "The Union", where he is assigned a union rep newbie, due to past poor performance not following the rules. This is a good vampire flick, has some funny parts, some great stunts and action scenes. If you like vampire flicks, this is a must see. Goofy, but a nice film.

Angel Eyes   (2001)   {Romance, Drama, Thriller}  [7]
J.Lo stars as an angry cop dealing with historic trauma of violence within her family. She meets a strange man (Jim Caviezel) in a trench coat who saves her life after a drive by shooting. The untrusting cop lets her guard down when the stranger romances her in the weirdest way. This was an odd one for me, as the interactions between them seem scripted (pun intended) and unrealistic and strange. The story unfolds and gets much better once you understand who the stranger is and why he's so strange. I do like Jim, I think he's a great actor and JLo did a great job portraying a cop with a chip on her shoulder. This is a good flick.

The Big Lebowski   (1998)   {Dramedy, Crime}  [11]
The Dude (Jeff Bridges), is an unemployed deadbeat stoner that is dragged into a wild kidnapping scheme after he is confused with a millionaire of the same name Jeffery Lebowski. In his off time, he's bowling with pals Donnie (Steve Buscemi) and Walter (John Goodman). The drama gets deeper as his buddy Walter, a hardcore opinionated Vietnam vet, makes everything worse for the good hearted Dude. Sam Elliot narrates in this crazy funny and dramatic story, it's goofy and laugh out loud crazy. This is one of the best stories ever, just beautiful and a great movie, a MUST SEE!

Per Aspera Ad Astra   (2026)   {SciFi, Adventure, Foreign}  [6]
On a spacecraft headed for another solar system, the hibernating crew are able to live in a dream world of their own while they sleep. A tech is awaken to babysit the ship, during his awakeness a power module explodes forcing him to enter the captains dream to get her out of hibernation abruptly. This is a mind bending trip, Dr. Strange meets the Matrix meets Inception. The story itself is pretty good, there are a few eye rolling scenes and some of the story line is rough, a Chinese foreign film, but once you get past that, it's a good Sci-Fi mind trip. Some pretty good crazy effects and videography.

I Am Frankelda   (2025)   {Family, Animation, Foreign}  [4]
A Mexican stop motion animation is based in 19 century Mexico, a young story writing girl writes stories and the current one comes to life. A terror realm where entities create nightmares for humans is fading. It's up to the prince of the terror realm to get this human girl to come write stories for him and his people. This is a bit of a mind trip, sometimes hard to follow the storyline. I did like the first 15 min, how the prince of the terror realm comes to reality to find this story writing girl. I think this story had potential but the storyline fell apart in the middle and things got weird, pretty sure LSD or Weed were used in the production of this. I'm not sure this is for children, I found it hard to follow along, a bit dramatic, but the stop motion was a mind trip and the character design was unique and odd.

Percy Jackson - Sea of Monsters   (2013)   {Fantasy, Action, Adventure}  [7]
Percy the demi god son of Poseidon and the gang are back and so is an evil force hell bent on destroying the half-blood camp and the destruction of the Gods. Another iteration, more drama and classic sequel fails that make it less than the original. One thing to be said about these movies, there is plenty of action and good effects, just got to get past the weird fantasy storyline. Visual effects and direction were fairly decent for this goofy action adventure.

Percy Jackson - Lightning Thief   (2010)   {Fantasy, Action, Adventure}  [7]
This movie is better than the Disney Percy Jackson series as that is more for children. The story follows a 1/2 breed demi god coming into his powers, forced to go to a 1/2 breed camp, then shortly after join a quest to try to find Zeus's stolen lightning bolt before Olympus starts a war on the world. A fairly good fantasy action adventure, worth the watch. Good effects, Uma Thurman as Medusa, Pierce Brosnan as a Centaru, Rosario Dawson as Persephone and Sean Bean as Zeus. Good cast of characters and fairly good fantasy storyline following Greek mythology.

Funny People   (2009)   {Comedy, Drama}  [7]
Adam Sandler is a popular comedian diagnosed with a terminal illness, he befriends, mentors and hires a younger up and coming comedian Seth Rogen to be his assistant, the only person he is willing to tell his diagnosis about it. It's a subtle casual dramedy, heartfelt and pseudo goofy. The real drama kicks in when his ex of 12 years finds out about the diagnosis and she comes to visit. If you're a Sandler fan, you'll probably like this a lot, but it wasn't a traditional comedy by the Happy Madison gang. A variety of comedians, cameos and some big name actors in this flick, try to identify them all, handful from SNL, even Eminem and RZA had cameos. It's a cute watch, a cute Dramedy, but it started out a bit of a casual/dry storyline the first 1/2 of the flick, but overall it was a good story.

Clifford The Big Red Dog   (2021)   {Comedy, Family}  [4]
A 12 year old Emily finds a little red dog in her backpack, that grows to the size of a large horse overnight all while her mother is out of town for the weekend. Predictable, eye rolling cringe of a kids movie. This is meant for children, I found it lame and the story lacked in many ways. What really bothered me the most is that the mom has a British accent but her child and brother do not. The actress couldn't even fake an American accent for this role, which is sort of pathetic. It was cute to see a live action of the big red dog, but that's about it. The jokes were childish and mundane, if you're not rolling your eyes, you're falling asleep, adults will not enjoy this flick.

Life after Beth   (2014)   {Comedy, Horror}  [4]
Aubrey Plaza dies from a snake bike on a lone mountain hike, only to come back to life with no memory that she died. I fell asleep a bunch of times during this show, it was a cute idea for a story, but then the storyline just fell apart, a poor version of a comedy zombie flick, it just wasn't that good. Aubrey played it well, but the story itself kinda sucked, cute idea, just poorly executed.

Shrill   (2019)   {Dramedy}  [7]
Aidy Bryant from SNL stars is an up and coming journalist, struggling with weight and boyfriend problems. She gets notoriety when she starts publishing articles near and dear to her at the new outlet she works at. It's a cute binge, I think she does a wonderful job portraying a heavier set women struggling with day to day problems, from body shaming to crappy boyfriends.

Poor Things   (2023)   {Fantasy, Comedy, Drama}  [9]
Bella Baxter (Emma Stone) is brought back to life in a pseudo/surreal/fantasy Victorian London era, by an eccentric scientist (Williem Dafoe), Frankenstein style. The reanimation causes her to have a childlike mind, no recollection of who she was, learning and improving each day. Feeling trapped and eager to experience the world, she runs off with a debauched lawyer (Mark Ruffalo), embarking on an adventuresome odyssey of self-discovery, sexual and social liberation. A young woman with a child mentality, lacking ethics and manners, has to learn and endure the trials and tribulations life offers her. This movie was a mind trip, the direction, videography, and story are quite unique and wonderful. The title is deceiving, I would have chosen another title for this wonderful flick. This is not your normal Frankenstein movie, it's a trip, the music and sound, the fish eye camera angles and black and white scenes were just mesmerizing and pseudo creepy. With plenty of naked Emma Stone and sex scenes, it's a wild trip, and a must see!

Balls Up   (2026)   {Comedy, Action}  [8]
Mark Walberg and Paul Walter Hauser are two bumbling marketing execs for condom company. A post party ends up ruining the deal they had just made with Brazil to have world cup futeball (soccer) sponsorship. They fly down to Brazil with the tickets they received for the successful sale, a clerical error ended up sending them tickets to the game. Some drunken dramedy, they end up enemies of the entire country of Brazil after ruining the world cup game for them against Argentina. Sasha Baron Cohen (Borat fame) co-stars as un unhinged drug lord they meet upon their travels. This is a raunchy slapstick comedy that had me laughing and yelling OMG a few times. This is definitely a flick you want to see if you like a good funny comedy. It's funny perverted cringe stuff and had me LOLing and waiting for the next scene, it's one thing after another and hilarious.

Hoppers (Disney)   (2026)   {Comedy, SciFi, Animation}  [7]
Mabel, a young rebellions and overzealous teen, tries to save animals and the glade in which they live. Her ailing grandmother loves it and tells her to always protect it. In the process, she discovers that a local science team has been using animal robotics to communicate and better understand them. Using this tech, as a robot beavers, she convinces the animals to stay in the glade and fight the evil mayor hell bent on getting a highway build, which would destroy the glade, and leave the animals homeless. This was a cute Pixar flick, it's got some pretty funny parts and good storyline all over, a bit goofy and a little over the top, but that's what a good animation is. I think you and your family would like it, worth a watch.

Fallen   (1998)   {Horror, Crime}  [9]
A serial killer that possesses people, kills then moves to another body. After being captured and executed for murder, the demon passes into another body and plans to take revenge on the detective (Denzel Washington) that brought him to justice. One of the best demon possession movies out there, creepy and very good story. I highly suggest, very suspenseful and freaky.

Dumb and Dumber To   (2014)   {Comedy}  [8]
If you haven't seen the original Dumb and Dumber, you need to view that movie first. The boys are back for more dumb antics, both Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey put on classic comedic performances and I would highly recommend seeing both. Do NOT watch "Dumb and Dumberer", it's not the same actors and poorly done, it's craptastic.

The Creator   (2023)   {SciFi, Action}  [9]
A future war between AI and Humans rages on. There is intell that suggests the AI have built a new weapon that will turn the tides, and it's up to Joshua and an elite team of USA forces to try to find and eliminate the threat. Plenty of twists in this flick, it's a great story and the storyline is pretty good, a few jumps around in the timeline but overall great, I highly suggest watching if you like futuristic robot AI Sci-Fi flicks.

Go Karts   (2019)   {Family, Sport}  [4]
An Aussie version of The Karate Kid, only with go carts. It was a cute movie, Aussie cheesy and a hack of Karate kid, they even reference Miyagi. It's a classic come from nothing, know nothing and become a champion because you have heart, bullies and forced drama. Slightly disappointing, but if you've never seen Karate Kid, you might like this flick. Good hangover flick, but that's about it.

The Wonder   (2022)   {Drama, Mystery}  [8]
Florence Pugh is nurse in early 1900's, hired to observe a girl in a small farming town, that hasn't eaten in 4 months. To validate the claims are true, she implements strict watching rules for 24 x 7 observation, the young girl's health begins to deteriorate, but she still refuses to eat. This was an eerie and trippy movie, the videography and sounds are very ominous. Good story, the storyline sometimes is a little over the board, but the core story itself is quite incredible and deeply emotional. Florence gives a stunning performance, it was a good period piece, and when you find out why the girl is not eating, your heart will sink DEEP.

Little Miss Sunshine   (2006)   {Comedy, Drama}  [8]
A dysfunctional family jumps in their rickety microbus for a trip California so their daughter can participate in a beauty pageant. What could go wrong, just about everything. Cute flick, but it fizzled out in the end! I would suggest watching "We're The Millers" after you watch this one. Google road trip movies and have at it.

Passengers   (2016)   {Sci-Fi, Drama, Romance}  [10]
As the starship Avalon makes its way from Earth to a future colony in another star system, a malfunction causes Chris Pratt to wake from suspended animation 90 years too early. With no way to go back to sleep, he will live out his life alone on the ship as everyone else is sleeping. After a year of loneliness he wakes another passenger Jennifer Lawrence for companionship. This is one of the best movies, both actors do a stunning performance, the story and storyline are solid AF. This is a must see, I have watched 3 times and plan to watch more in the future.

Wonder Man   (2026)   {Superhero, Anti Comedy}  [1]
This is a Marvel flop, or should I say a DISNEY flop. Take Ben Kingsley... You know, the actor playing the Mandarin in Iron Man 3 (Trevor), is an out of work actor since the Mandarin and prison, is now being an acting mentor (or so it seems) to a man trying to get an acting job (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) if you want to call it acting. Ben and Yahya both actors playing actors and I'm not sure if they are trying to play bad actor or if they really are. What an incredible waste of time and literally something I wanted to actively turn off, only hoping for some type of turn around or hook that would save it, only it never happened in 2.5 episodes. This was worse than Hanna Montana 20th and that's saying a lot. It lacked a story, lacked storyline and after 2 episodes, they were attempting to build the storyline, I had to turn this piece of sh!t off for wasting my time and insulting my story lining. Supposedly the protagonist actor is supposed to have super powers and this is an origin story, only this multi-episode sucked so bad after 3 episodes and they really didnt get far, it wasn't worth my time to continue to watch it. Eye garbage, and a huge 2 thumbs down. I love Marvel, but this is an abomination! They needed a hook, something great in the first or 2nd episode to keep the viewers attention. It was like watching a documentary of 2 actors going thru the motions, just boring AF.

WONDERfOOls (8 episode)   (2026)   {Superhero, Comedy, Action, Foreign}  [5]
Set in 1999, this Korean superhero film introduces some loser characters origin stories, that involves getting their powers from a toxic waste dump and the process of trying to control them with the help of an existing man with powers. Rumors of and apocalypse on new year’s, other people with powers are secretly planning evil doing. If you can get over Korean comedy and love your Jackie Chan films, it's a campy, action packed, and might be up your alley. Most may find this off putting, a goofy foreign dubbed flick worth a hangover binge at least. It was addictive for me because it had a fairly good story/storyline, good effects and videography, fairly good acting, it kept me watching, but I admit 1-3 eye rolls per episode.

Spider Noir (Season 1)   (2026)   {Crime, Film Nori, Superhero, Mystery}  [5]
Nick Cage as a private eye with Spider-man abilities, this series has a very Nora / Gumshoe, black n white detective show feel. The story itself isn't bad, it has girth, and the idea of a spider-man as a gumshoe is sort of crazy. Cage as a trench coat, fedora wearing PI with spider-man abilities, is cringe. They could have gotten a different, better and younger actor, the accent isn't working Nick, drop it. If you like the old B/W detective shows, you might like this, it's an ok hangover binge but that's about it. The fight scenes are just terrible, he gets his ass kicked plenty, a forced story and terrible acting by Cage. Give credit to marvel for packing the Spider-man story into a 1930's detective film, even the bad guys have the same name, but different and dumb downed abilities, yet still potent. As always, Samuel gives a great performance, the guy can act.

Cleaner   (2007)   {Thriller, Crime, Mystery}  [9]
Samuel L Jackson is a retired homicide cop that now owns a cleaning business, the kind that cleans up after deaths and other bio hazards. After doing a cleaning job of what seems to be a murder, he returns the next day to return a house key, only to be confronted by a confused house wife, stating that she didn't hire a cleaning service, she was out of town yesterday. This is a great setup for a perfect murder mystery. What a great idea for a movie, the storyline and story are awesome, very well done movie, a must see!

The Cloverfield Paradox   (2018)   {SciFi, Horror}  [5]
A team of scientists are testing a new power source for a power starving world. In the process they accidentally swap dimensions and some strange crap starts happening as the mystery unfolds. It had potential to be a good story, but the weird ass stuff happening really was off putting for me. Good effects and acting, but the weird story kinda ruined it for me. I like Sci-Fi, but I also like it to make logical sense and not just be a mishmash of creepy, cringe stuff.

Atlas   (2024)   {Action}  [8]
J Lo gives a stunning performance as a computer genius with no trust for AI, as she hunts down an AI bot that wants to cure the world of humanity (destroy us before we destroy ourselves). In an AI exo suit, she travels to another planet and must bond with it to become powerful enough to stop the threat from the AI bot. This is a good flick, don't listen to Rotten tomatoes or any other, it's good and worth the watch. I've watched it 3 times and it's good every time. I would say a must see.

Ladies First   (2026)   {Comedy}  [7]
A sexist exec (Sasha Baron Cohen) is thrown into a world where women rule and he has to adapt. I liked this flick, they did a good job on this film, cute and spunky. Honest they could have expanded this and went a lot farther, I feel like they jumped around and some good scenes were cut, but overall still cute if you can stand the Borat actor.

Serenity   (2005)   {SciFi, Western}  [10]
There was so much backlash for "Firefly" being canceled, they had to make a movie to officially end the story. This was a great way to end the Firefly series, it explains a lot and gives fans the closure they needed. This is Must See, but you MUST watch the Firefly series before you watch this film, or it won't make as much sense. You need to get to know the characters, but this is a stand-alone film, you could watch it and still enjoy it, but I wouldn't suggest it, you will want to get to know the characters well.

FireFly (1 season)   (2002)   {SciFi, Western}  [10]
Here's how it is: Earth got used up, so we terraformed a whole new galaxy of Earths, some rich and flush with the new technologies, some not so much. Central Planets, them was formed the Alliance, waged war to bring everyone under their rule; a few idiots tried to fight it, among them myself. I'm Malcolm Reynolds, captain of Serenity. Got a good crew: fighters, pilot, mechanic. We even picked up a preacher, and a bona fide companion. There's a doctor, too, took his genius sister out of some Alliance camp, so they're keeping a low profile. You got a job, we can do it, don't much care what it is. This is a great series, the show only lasted 1 season, but it was glorious and I loved it, a MUST See. Basically a space cowboy and a rag tag crew, running cargo and keeping the ship "Serenity" (Firefly class) in the air. Basically a space western, pretty much a Han Solo smuggler with guns and not blasters, but in a galaxy closer and not so long ago. What I really loved about this is the dialog, how they merged languages together, Josh Weaton did a great job on this series. Fans were actually outraged after the series was canceled, mismanagement and advertisement, it was poorly handled and their outcries would eventually be heard.

Hustle   (2022)   {Sports, Drama, Comedy}  [7]
Adam Sandler is a down-on-his-luck NBA scout who discovers an incredible street-ball player in Spain (played by real-life NBA player Juancho Hernangómez). This is a pretty good sports movie. I am not a fan of Sports movies or basketball for that matter, so if Sandler wouldn't have really made an impression that he did, I would have scored lower. the story isn't bad, pretty good storyline, but there is too much basketball. LOL, seriously, game after game, hoops after hoops, also the montages were plentiful and long. This is a well put together film, regardless of my opinion.

Safe Haven   (2013)   {RomDram, Thriller}  [9]
Katie (Julianne Hough ) is on the run from a detective that will stop at nothing to find her for attempted murder. Alex (Josh Duhamel) is a widower with 2 kids whom runs a bait shop and general store on the small ferryable island where Katie lands. She takes a job as a waitress in the same building as the island's general store, gets a crappy house apt right down the road, trying to make a safe haven on the island for herself. She's very skittish, isolates herself and doesn't want to socialize or befriend anyone. The young daughter Lexie (Mimi Kirkland) tends a register at the store and with that missing teeth smile, helps break Katie's cold demure. This is a great movie and some twists and turns that had me floored, but I called them 10 min before they happen. Any who, this is a MUST SEE. Julianne give a stunning performance only to be shadowed by her beauty. The writer and director really pulled this storyline together, it was close to being a 10. if I had to rate the movie before the ending, it would be an 8, but the ending would be an 11, I absolutely loved it and I hope you do too!

The Roast of Tom Brady   (2024)   {Roast, Comedy, Documentory}  [8]
This was pretty darn good, Nicky Glaser just knows how to roast. Roast fan or not, this had some damn good comedy, I would consider this a MUST SEE.

The Roast of Kevin Hart   (2026)   {Roast, Anti-Comedy}  [3]
I couldn’t get thru 15 min of it. I am not sure if it's just the lack of comedy or that maybe I just don't like shitty roasts. Without Nicky Glaser or any good comedians, also having a Tom Brady as the starting comedian, not to mention Share Gillis as MC/host... I have better things to watch. This was worse than the Hanna Montana 20th, this is a true POS. UPDATE... I decided to continue to watch and there are some good jokes in it once you get past the bad parts. I mean if you can get past Shane Gillis as host, there are some funny roast jokes, but it's still cringe, one of the lesser of the roast's out there. The small people dressed as various Kevin Hart rolls during Lizzo's part was quite cute and I busted out laughing. All the frowns off camera when they cut back, and Shane’s BAD jokes were just off putting. Some ethnic overtones and a bit racist cringe on both sides, all sides. I would suggest trying to find a highlights reel with just the good jokes if you can find it on you tube.

Otherhood   (2019)   {Drama, Comedy}  [10]
Pissed off their sons didn't talk to them on Mother’s day or send flowers, 3 mothers decide to drive to New York and stay with their sons for a few days to find out why. Each mother stops at each respective son's apartment and the drama, comedy and interfering with their lives ensues. This was an awesome movie and MUST SEE.

My Oxford Year   (2025)   {RomComDram}  [8]
Our story follows Anna (Sofia Carson - I love her), an ambitious American student studying Poetry abroad at Oxford for a year, who falls for her goofy romantic professor, Jamie. It's sort of a goofy romance but then really gets deep into the drama, making this a pretty good flick. You'll want a box of tissues for this one.

A Merry Little Ex-Mas   (2025)   {RomCom}  [4]
Two exes spend one last Christmas together, only one problem, he's bringing his new GF and she meets a guy at the tree farm in the small town where they live. It's a mish mosh of making each other Jealous, forced comedy, forced drama, and a weak storyline. It's good seeing Alicia Silverstone, Melissa Joan Hart again, but this wasn't that good, some bad acting, poor ideas for comedy, had moments, but generally not a very good romcom, lacked in a good story in general.

The Iron Claw   (2023)   {Drama, Sports}  [7]
Based on the true story about a wrestling family and their story of the curse of the Von Erichs. I honestly almost turned this off a few times, the start is very slow, basically they are eating, talking wrestling, practicing wrestling, actual wrestling, and hitting bars / drinking. that's it for the first like 45 min. You have an overbearing hard father pushing his sons to the brink to be excellent and stronger than anyone. I personally didn't care for it, but if you're curious about it, or like/love wrestling, then I would say it's a must see. Special kudos to the wrestler actors for putting on the muscles and all the wrestling moves they learned. It is a tragic story, sad in multiple ways, take your anti-depression meds before watching, but a fairly decent story.

Striking Distance   (1993)   {Action, Drama}  [8]
A homicide cop is demoted to water parole after a high speed chase that kills multiple people and his father, he accused his partner of being the serial killer that there were looking for. Hated by the police force for 2 years, he takes on a new partner as finds more dead bodies with the same motif as the serial killer from 2 years prior, even though he is presumed dead. It's pretty good, Bruce Willis and Sara J Parker star as water patrol cops. Some really good twists and some great action. Good story, storyline and a pretty good flick, Must See!

Catch and Release   (2006)   {RomComDram}  [10]
In the wake of her fiancé’s funeral, Jennifer Garner moves in with his roommates and learn secrets she never knew about his life. This is an excellent movie, it's got a great storyline and story, even a part played by Kevin Smith. MUST SEE!!

Rim of the World   (2019)   {Adventure, SciFi}  [7]
Four kids have a chance to save the world after aliens attack Earth. The storyline was good, sort of a weak story, but some serious awesome action sequences with aliens, pretty good action sequences.

Zombieland   (2009)   {Comedy, Horror}  [8]
A zombie outbreak, a cautious kid with a list of survival rules meets up with a bad ass zombie slayer Woody Haroldson. They get car jacked by two sisters as they traverse the world of zombies. Cute flick, sarcastic and very snappy / witty comedy.

Zombieland Double Tap   (2019)   {Comedy, Horror}  [7]
The gang is back, zombies have evolved. A little unrealistic, but what zombie flick isn't, it was a cute flick.

And So It Goes   (2014)   {RomComDram}  [8]
Oran Little's son drops off his 9 year old granddaughter to stay with him as his son is going to jail for 9 months, he is the estranged father and is the only family his son has. This self-absorbed realtor Oran (Michael Douglas) learns about love, life, and family in this lovely flick. With the help of his neighbor (Diane Keaton), he has to adapt to having a grandchild and learns to love again after the loss of his wife. I loved this flick and Rob Reiner doesn't made crap, so it was really good. Must See, tugs on the heart strings and quaintly humorous.

Remarkably bright creatures   (2026)   {Drama, Mystery}  [8]
Tova, an aging aquarium janitor (Sally Fields) soon bound for a retirement home, cleans for the last time only to find Cameron, a musician down on his luck (Lewis Pullman) taking over her job. She offers to train him proper on the job when they stumble upon a missing octopus escape artist. She lost a son, he lost his mother, while Cameron searches for his long lost father, the narrating octopus Marcellus wants to help the kind old lady and man find happiness again. This was a good flick, cute, dramatic and heartfelt, with a great story and story line.

I Give It A Year   (2013)   {RomComDram}  [5]
A British comedy romance about a couple that gets married then before a year is up, they realize they are not in love with each other, it's a lot of work but they are determined to make it to one year. I fell asleep a few times during this. British comedy isn't that funny to me, take it or leave it, it's dry with a few funny parts. I didn't care for it.

Mothers Day   (2016)   {RomComDram}  [9]
All-star cast, quite the list of hot moms… Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Britt Roberston, Sarah Chalke, add in Jason Sudeikis as a widower. Mothers from all walks of life each with a different story and drama, days before mother’s day the stories unfold. This was a great movie, a good storyline on how it all came together, laugh, cry, giggle and gasp, this dramidy is a Must See. Jennifer is juggling a split family divorced life then recently finds out her ex-husband eloped with a very young hot woman. Britt is an orphan afraid to tie the knot with a recent new born and a British comedian boyfriend. Sisters Kate married to an Indian (red dot) and Sarah with a lesbian partner, have parents from Texas that they fear won't understand the modern relationships. Jason lost his wife last year and is trying to handle his 2 girls (tween and teen) as he's still not over his wife whom died in service, as his gal pals from his work try to set him up with other hot moms. Julia had to choose a career instead of a family. There are some goofy parts, but mostly it's heartfelt and funny, have a box of tissues and expect to laugh out loud a few times.

Trainwreck   (2015)   {RomCom}  [8]
Amy Schumer stars as a commitment-phobic magazine writer who lives by her father's mantra that monogamy is unrealistic. Not knowing sports, her boss forces her to do a story on a charming sports doctor Aaron Conners (Bill Hader), she struggles to break her self-destructive and promiscuous habits as she starts to fall for him. Starring Kobe Bryant as himself, Brie Larson as her sister, Tilda Swinton as her overbearing boss, John Cena Butt Naked, and tons of other comedians and stars. It's funny, it's sassy Amy cringe worthy comedy, and it's also heartfelt! It's goofy but it's actually a very good storyline and they stick to the story well. I highly suggest watching this flick.

Airplane Mode (Modo Avião)   (2020)   {RomCom, Foreign}  [6]
Brazilian dubbed Netflix comedy where a young girl influencer gets in too many car accidents being on her phone all the time, is sent to her grandfather’s farm where there is no cell reception and she needs to detox from cell phone use.

Arizona   (2018)   {Dark Comedy}  [7]
After a realtor witnesses an accidental murder in an empty sub division, she is held against her will by an odd man. This is a very twisted story, good story but really cringe and weird.

The Little Fockers   (2010)   {Comedy}  [8]
10 years later, now with children, the comedy continues as the father in law still does not trust Greg. It was a good flick, but not as good as the others. Good story and storyline. Worth seeing all 3 of the comedies!

Meet the Fockers   (2004)   {RomCom}  [9]
The comedy continues, and it gets even better meeting the Focker parents (Barbara Streisand and Dustin Hoffman)

Meet the Parents   (2000)   {RomCom}  [8]
If you haven't seen the Focker movies, you need to set aside some time for all of them. Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) is ready to propose to his girlfriend, but before that, it's time to meet her parents, the father (Robert De Niro) being an undercover ex CIA agent. One fiasco after another, Greg does an excellent job of screwing up everything and this movie is a MUST SEE comedy, laugh out loud.

Lucy   (2014)   {Action, SciFi}  [7]
A young women is forced to be a delivery mule and when the drug package breaks inside her, it gives her super human abilities. I really like this concept, the story is awesome, but the storyline falls apart near the end. It really could have been a lot better if they would have stuck to the original story and not veered off track. It's good, I think it is a must see, worth a view, I've watched it twice.

Nice Girls   (2024)   {Comedy, Foreign, Action}  [3]
Two undercover cops, French, duh guy, campy movie... enough said. Not that good of a movie, predictable and cheesy, the storyline fails to perform. Some good fight scenes, but it's a crap foreign dubbed film with a crap story/storyline.

Gabriel Iglesias: Legend of Fluffy   (2022)   {Stand up Comedy}  [8]
If you have never seen Fluffy, you need to watch his old stuff. Some really good LOL stuff, I love Gabriel.

Gabriel Iglesias: Stadium Fluffy   (2025)   {Stand up Comedy}  [7]
If you have never seen Fluffy, you need to watch his old stuff. I love Gabriel. This was post Covid and he was out of practice, still funny but a few dry spots.

National Lampoons TV The Movie   (2008)   {Comedy, Anti-comedy}  [2]
This was a serious POS. It was just a mishmash of worse than jackass comedy skits. I couldn’t even get thru the whole thing.

Spiderman No Way Home   (2021)   {Action, SciFi, Superhero}  [10]
Spiderman is found out, Mysterio leaves a video before he dies telling the world who Spiderman is. The only way to stop the madness is get everyone to forget who Spiderman is, tap the most powerful wizard on the planet and have him create an spell, pretty simple right? It's never that easy in the marvel universe, thus setting up our story of a little multi-verse action. This is a great flick, getting the 3 Spider men together, I am compelled to give this a 10. As much as I have a beef with the storyline, the story itself was quite sound. Great action, good to see old friends, touching and emotional, leading us to a future Spiderman, a stronger and more grown up spiderman is coming. A Must See, Sony has released it to Disney+, so have at it! Grab your popcorn web head and enjoy triple the web slinging fun.

The Fabelmans   (2022)   {Drama, Coming of Age}  [9]
A story loosely based on Steven Spielberg’s life, a young Jewish boy takes great interest in film making. He traverses his parents failing marriage, his father's job moving them to different cities, endures 1950's racist school bullies, first love and family drama. This was a very good flick, Steven did a great job on it. The story itself was rock solid, I feel some of the storyline was forced drama, and could have been tweaked a little. I personally didn't care for the mother actress (Michelle Williams) performance, it felt forced and overly dramatic like Broadway acting. Overall very good flick, and it's a Must See!

Pizza Movie   (2026)   {Adventure, Comedy}  [7]
Two unpopular college friends try an experimental drug from 10 years ago that fell out of their ceiling tile left by some past dormies. They go on a multi-phase, space and time bending, alternate reality drug trip. In various attempts to get to their pizza delivery bot on ground floor (the drug has bad effects if you do not eat food/pizza with it) while battling RA's hell bent on busting anyone with drugs/alcohol and other college bullies throughout the doom. This was a goofy ass movie, cringe worthy, laugh out loud, campy and eye rolling adventures. I might suggest a gummy with your 2nd view. Starring Gaten Materazzo from "Justin from Stranger Things", Lulu Wilson from "Becky from the Becky horror movies" and Sean Glambrone... the kid from "The Goldberg’s". I liked it, I didn't think I would seeing some previews, but it was goofy AF, I had to watch it till the end.

APEX   (2026)   {Action, Thriller}  [8]
Charlize Theron is a rock climbing enthusiast that Kayaks the outback of Australia months after a climbing accident. In the process of prepping for the Kayak trip, she runs into some sketchy men locals and a relaxing thrill seeking kayak trip turns into a deadly game of cat and mouse. This was a pretty good well put together movie. I didn't care for the subject matter myself, but the flick itself was pretty intense, some of the rock climbing and kayak scenes were incredible and Charlize does a great job portraying our protagonist. Must See if you are ok with these types of movies.

Day Break   (2019)   {SciFi, RomCom, Horror, Coming of Age}  [7]
A Netflix post-apocalyptic dramedy series—where a nuclear blast kills most adults and turns others into zombie-like "Ghoulies". Following a 17-year-old outcast, in Glendale California, it focuses on high school tribes (jocks, gamers) battling for survival in a Mad Max style. Is starts out very much like a Ferris Beuler narration, there is plenty of 4th wall breaking, narration, and just general oddly goofy. It's cute but I think 10 episodes is too long for this story. Sometimes predictable, otherwise surprising, it's a cute binge. This would have been better a 2 hour movie or a 6 episode limited series, 10 episodes was too much and drawn out in my opinion.

Lulli   (2021)   {RomCom}  [5]
A Brazilian film where a medical student women can hear people's thoughts after an accident with a MRI machine. It was sort of a cute premise, but I lacked pizzazz, but I don't expect much from foreign films.

Along for the ride   (2022)   {RomCom, Drama}  [6]
A quirky girl with social issues travels to California to visit her father for the summer to try to have daughter daddy time. She makes new friends, hangs with a local BMX biker who assists her in doing things she normally wouldn't, a quest to be different if you will. It's a very dry story, some forced drama and very casual and slow. The story itself was good, but I feel the storyline lacked, it just seemed to lack content or pizzazz.

Bugonia   (2025)   {Comedy, SciFi}  [3]
Emma Stone is a CEO of a major company and is kidnapped by 2 conspiracy theorists convinced she is an alien, she is held captive. The start is good, but this turns into a turd of a movie. Crappy story. I cannot believe Emma shaved her head for this POS movie. It is disappointing because this actually had some potential to be a good flick, too bad the writers and directors dropped the ball, a bowling ball on your toe.

Project Hail Mary   (2026)   {Scifi, Adventure}  [9]
Ryan Gosling, a scientist turned teacher, wakes from a coma on board a space ship bound for another star system, without any knowledge of why. When he realizes how far he is from home and the mission he is on, he strives his best not being an astronaut and endevors to succeed. This was a pretty good sci fi flick, beside some logistic flaws and incorrect sciences, it's pretty darn good. Must See.

My Secret Santa   (2025)   {RomCom, Holiday}  [5]
A classic RomCom, in this version an ex local music star raising a teen, needs extra cash to pay for her daughters ski lessons. What's a girl to do, get a job at the ski resort as Santa (roll eyes). Things get dicey when she finds out the ski resort owner's son is a guy she recently met in a book store (roll eyes). There are some good parts, but mostly, it's cheesy, predictable and cringe. I counted 7 eye rolls during the movie. The core story itself isn't bad, it could you some tweaks, but the storyline just failed, like those people that try to follow a gourmet recipe and end up with poo poo platter in an epic fail, pretty much that. The only really good quality in the movie is the fact she was a musician once (in the movie). Past that it wasn't well thought out, but it is wholesome and heartfelt, it's a nice hangover day watch.

The Unicorn Store   (2017)   {Fantasy, Comedy, Drama}  [4]
After being kicked out of art school, a depressed Kit (Brie Lawrence) is invited by a mysterious stranger (Samuel L Jackson) to "The Store" to buy a unicorn, something she has dreamed her entire life. Did she snap, did she have a nervous breakdown, is this a con, or are unicorns real, this movie keeps you guessing! This is a weird movie, directed by Brie herself, it's not a bad flick, director wise I think it was done well, it's the writer/storyline, that aspect makes it kinda suck. I mean the core idea isn't bad, a broken free spirit realized what reality is and becomes part of it and the dreamer dies, the concept is there, this wasn't it. I see an altered version of this and it could be much better, the storyline just kinda sucked. Wasn't a bad movie, just wasn't good.

Champagne Problems   (2025)   {RomCom}  [7]
Sidney Price (Minka Kelly), a beautiful marketing executive, is asked to fly to Paris to acquire a champagne vineyard business by her company. Her sister makes her pinky swear to take a night to enjoy the city of Paris and not make it all business, like she always does. While venturing out, she goes to a book store to get a present for her sister, she mistakes a handsome customer as a book store clerk, asking him for help. Intrigued, Henri helps her find what she is looking for, then convinces her to let him be her guide for the night in Paris after finding out her lame plans. They venture out, they visit many sites, they have moments and words, and it's Sidney's best night on the Earth. The next morning she awakes late for an important presentation, the only reason she is in town, things take a turn for the worse when she shows up hours late for the meeting. This was a cute flick, I seem to watch too many RomCom's. One thing I'm not a fan of is foreign language captions, I hate reading while I watch a movie, dyslectics don't really that sh!t ok. I appreciate all the reality of it, but I'm not watching this show for realism, or do I really need it, I just want to hear and understand what is being said, I can accept French people talking English, I'm ok with that. With that being said (pun intended), Minka does an excellent performance, I love brown eye girls and she has beautiful eyes. it's wholesome, romcomish and quite lovely, I would suggest a view. I would suggest pairing a nice bottle of champagne with some French cheese for this movie.

The Running Man   (2025)   {Action, Comedy, SciFi, Adventure}  [6]
A reboot of Running Man, this time Glenn Powell is a man with crazy anger issues trying to provide for his family and sick child, after getting fired time after time from just about every employer in the city. One way to make money is to join in dangerous game shows, the most popular and lucrative is The Running Man, where you have 30 days to live among the people without getting noticed or hunted. Degenerates, law breakers and trash people sign up to make easy money. It's Hunger Games meets Squid games meets that shitty version of Ghostbusters with the SNL Girls. It started out way predictable and cheesy, seeing that one of the current young SNL writers is starring in it, I knew I was in for a ride. A little cheesy and cringe story, they jumped into it quite fast, and it was off putting at first, but the action catches up to the storyline. It was a good action flick especially if you're a Glenn Powell fan, but I probably won't be watching it again, they needed better writers, could have been a better flick. Standing alone without being a reboot, I could appreciate it a little better.

How Do You Know   (2010)   {RomCom}  [6]
A female USA softball player is thrown a curve by getting cut from her team do to her age 31, ends up in a love triangle with a pro baseball player and a business professional who is being sued by the government for stock fraud. While evaluating her life and it crumbling, she's pulled between a ungrateful rich boyfriend and an over enthusiastic man whose life is also crashing around him. Reese Witherspoon has never looked better, along with her love triangle, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson. This is a very weird RomCom, dry at times, odd storyline, forced Drama, kind of cringe for my tastes. The story itself isn't bad per se, it's just a weird story in general and some illogical segments, and a little sappy. Check it out and let me know your thoughts, I was falling asleep watching it, I had to watch it again to give it a good review.

Roommates   (2026)   {Comedy, Drama}  [8]
Two roommates in college have a mini war like melt down / outbreak in the dorms, when the school counselor steps in and tells them a lengthy story about a story from her past about two besties that became frienemies. The gang at Happy Madison does it again, a funny story only Sandler and the gang could come up with. It's good, I really liked it, Sadie Sandler plays the part well as a quiet shy friendless person, and (Chloe East) plays her spoiled popular model hot roommate, she is so damn hot... it hurts! A must see for anyone especially those that have/had roommates.

Double Dad   (2021)   {Comedy, Drama}  [7]
An 18 year old girl living her whole life with her mother in a hippy commune, secretly goes on a hunt for her father in Rio, while her mother goes on a hippy retreat in India. During this time, she tracks down 2 possible men that could be her father, one an artist, the other a business man. She gets to know them each separately, seeing her own interests and mannerisms in each, isn't sure which is her real father. Cute foreign film, the premise and story are good, a good flick if you don't mind foreign language dubbing, lovely and wholesome. Kudos to the lead actress (Masie Silva) who has a great smile and really rocks the part, plays an innocent hippy daughter that has never left the commune jumps into the adventure.

The Six Triple Eight   (2024)   {War, Drama}  [9]
855 black and mixed race women join the WWII war effort in Europe to address a three-year mail backlog, known as the 6888th battalion. Despite discrimination, a nearly impossible task, unacceptable war-torn conditions, they sort over seventeen million pieces of mail ahead of schedule. This is a must see, I'm not a big fan of war movies, but this was worth the view, thank you ladies for your service. Great story, great storyline and just a well put together movie, kudos! Based on a true story, real life accounts and stories.

The House with a Clock in Its Walls   (2018)   {Comedy, Fantasy, Family}  [7]
Jack Black is an eccentric uncle living in a creepy old house, he also happens to be a warlock. After a tragedy, his young nephew comes to live with him. The house has magical items that come to life and a clock in the walls counting down to doomsday. This is a cute little family show, I really liked the comedy and cringe factor, well done. The name is sort of off putting, but the story itself was good.

Moonhaven   (2022)   {SciFi, Adventure}  [3]
3 generations have been living on the moon, with some science and AI, they are trying to come up with a way to save the Earth from self-destruction. This is a weird Sci-Fi, it's hard to follow and the storyline had me shut off the pilot and won't be watching the 6 episodes. I usually like most Sci-fi but this wasn't for me. It has some potential, it was a fairly good idea, just the storyline failed me.

Pamela A Love Story   (2023)   {Documentary}  [6]
A good documentary about Pamela Anderson's life, worth the view if you like this type of shows.

Love at First Sight   (2023)   {RomCom}  [6]
When a young woman (Haley Lu Richardson) misses her flight to London, she meets Oliver in the airport and fate is telling the story using statistics and math. It was a cute RomCom, not a typical romance, I liked it, the story is unique, but the fate and statistics stuff got tiresome and took away from the storyline, but I get why they did it, plays along with the plot. Haley is a natural beauty, the girl next door hot, great smile and her acting was spot on.

Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom   (2018)   {Action, Adventure}  [7]
Yet another Jurassic, same shit for the most part, stupid people playing god and others trying to save from being eaten. This was a little different, the volcano scenes were pretty intense, the storyline itself was meh. You can't bash Spielberg or the Dyno effects, they are incredible, but the story is getting old.

Dead Poets Society   (1989)   {Comedy, Drama, Coming of Age}  [8]
Young men in a 1959 boarding school, traverse the coming of age times with a unorthodox teacher (Robin Williams) at the helm. They pick up a tradition of secret meetings where they discuss poetry, stories and dirty jokes, whatever is on their mind. Very good flick, as always, Robin Williams gives a stunning performance.

Good Will Hunting   (1997)   {Romance, Drama}  [11]
A troubled young man (Matt Damon) daily works his shitty job, drinks with his friends. After he gets in trouble with the law, he is assigned a councilor (Robin Williams) to try to break thru the thick layers of family abuse/trauma. Did I mention the troubled man is a super genius, an IQ thru the roof, but he'd rather mop floors at a college than get a cushy job. This is one of the best films, I can watch it again and again, seen in 6 times, will see it more. Robin and Matt do an excellent portrayal of their characters. This is the movie that Matt and Ben Affleck wrote that started their careers.

The Age of Adaline   (2015)   {Romance, Fantasy}  [7]
A young woman of 29 (Blake Lively) survives a tragic car accident only to stop aging for decades. She must navigate life, romances and a child, and take on new identities if she is to survive without scrutiny. As she avoids romance and relationships throughout the years, destiny intervenes as she runs into an old flame (Harrison Ford). This is a beautiful story and worth the watch. Good story line and good story, kind of a chick flick but also just a beautiful story on its own. I did love this story, but I feel a bit empty at the end, I think they could have really filled it with more storyline, but I am not going to bash it as it is a good story.

Feel My Voice   (2026)   {Drama, Comedy}  [5]
A teenage girl is the only hearing person in her family, she navigates the demands of being an interpreter for the family, living on a donkey farm and choir at school. The core story is not bad, but the storyline failed as far as I'm concerned, they could have used a better writer for this foreign film. I'm not sure I would call this a comedy as I didn't find it funny. Lots of forced drama, just not a well thought out storyline. Probably the one good thing in this film is the beautiful Sarah Toscano, she has that girl next door look, the casting director did a great job picking her.

The Orville   (2017)   {SciFi, Comedy}  [8]
Seth MacFarlane stars in this Star Trek spoof series, where comedy meets Star Trek NG. There is a lot of cute moments, but the show stands its ground as a solid sci-fi series. I'm quite impressed with this series, so worth watching.

A Million Ways To Die In The West   (2014)   {Western, Comedy}  [9]
Seth MacFarlane directs and stars in this goofy western flick about a coward disgruntled sheep farmer. His life is about to change once gunslinger Charlize Theron comes to town. It's goofy and fun film, but not punny or Airplane-ish, it's good funny comedy with quite the cast of characters, plenty of celebs in it. Sarah Silverman as a goody Christian that won't have premarital sex with boyfriend, but works at the whore house, is just comedy gold. I loved this film, I love Seth and his comedy, I wanna see more like this.

The Naked Gun   (2025)   {Comedy, Action}  [2]
Airplane humor, only with Liam Neeson. Honestly I turned this off 10 min in, I couldn't stand it. It's just shite humor and they didn't hook me in the first 10. It's hard seeing Liam in a comedy especially this bad. Bad choice of actors and stupid to try to dust this off, it was great without having a reboot. Boo!

Anne With An E   (2017)   {Drama, Historic}  [9]
Anne Shirley (AmyBeth McNulty) is a wirey, 13 year old, red headed orphan, traumatized from the orphan and foster system, she struggles with day to day functions as reality clashes with her indomitable imagination and spirit. An aging brother and sister Cuthberts from Green Gables sends for a boy orphan to help with farm chores. Mathew saddles up the horse/buggy to pick up the orphan from the train station. I loved this series, the first 2 episodes set the tone for the show and BOY do they set a tone. AmyBeth does an excellent job playing the part of Anne, kudos to her. This is a well put together flick, a must see. The historic aspect is so incredible, you feel like you're there in the late 1800's, where girls did kitchen work and boys did the farm work. The language, costumes and storyline are just awesome, they nailed this out of the park, based on the book(s) Anne from Green Gables.

Ninja Security   (1997)   {Comedy, Kungfu}  [6]
A homemade movie by Bret Mon, a bored security guard at a large company is awaken by an infiltration of the facility, the only way to fight the foe is turn into a Ninja and take out the bad guy. This is a poorly dubbed (on purpose) mock of a lungful movie, with terrible action, terrible acting, and just terrible videography, it's knee slapper, slap stick, and funny quotes is about the only thing good about this movie. I give special props to the amount of work done on this with the tech from the 90's equipment, what you got was some pretty intuitive work. A Must See!!! Remastered and edited 2025 with newer technology. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTWR8ioX22E&t=7s

Cat and Dog   (2024)   {Comedy, Adventure}  [4]
A lost dog, as part of a jewel heist, runs into a diva cat at the airport and they need to find their way back to their owners, chased by an almost terminator policeman, the plot thickens on comedy and adventure. The dog and cat are animated CGI, the rest is live action. I'm sort of between the fences on this one, on one hand it's not a bad story, and fairly ok effects, but the acting and the comedy/storyline are poor, like 1970's humor/storyline, from this foreign film. There are a few slap stick chuckles, but this really is more of a movie for children and not adults. I won't be watching it again.

IF   (2024)   {Family, Comedy}  [9]
Bea's (Cailey Fleming - Judy of Walking Dead) mother passes away when she's young, and now years later, her father is in the hospital for a heart issue. She stumbles upon some imaginary friends in the building where she is staying with her Grandmother. One of the lead characters is Cal (Ryan Reynolds), who seems to be helping the creatures find new homes, she joins in and tries to reunite the IF's with children. This is good, very original story, storyline is great, there are laughs, smiles, heartfelt and some tears, great flick and a must see!!!

MXC Most Extreme Elimination Challenge   (2003)   {Comedy, Game Show}  [6]
A Ninja Warrior / Wipeout style game show, it's dubbed with English like Mystery Science Theater 3000, funny and goofy, some of the stuff they come up with and say is stoner funny. Worth a watch if you're on the gummy! It's my understanding it gets better in future seasons, the comments from the players get funnier. Good hangover show, or if you're hammered and want to watch something not of any relevance.

Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children   (2016)   {Fantasy, Coming of Age}  [5]
Jake (Asa Butterfield of Ender Game) is tasked with finding Miss Peregrin and a group of peculiar children with special abilities, to help them at the dying request of his grandfather. Also starring Ella Purnell (of Fallout) who plays one of the older children whom can fly. I think this is more of a children’s film, I was hoping for an X-men type flick, but it was more Alice Wonderland of sorts. Worth a watch with family. I am on the fence with the storyline, some of it good, other is predictable and yet other it just a little illogical. And as always, anytime a movie deal with TIME, they get it wrong and I hate that shit!

The Penguin Lessons   (2024)   {Comedy, Drama}  [9]
Tom is an Englishman (Steve Googan) who takes a job at a Spanish school in 1970s Argentina, and his life changes when he meets a penguin on the beach and it imprints on him and it on he, the both imprint on each other. How he teaches his students changes for the better and his life will evermore be changed. This is a must see, especially with things going on today. It's heartwarming, lovely, cute little comedy drama that will have you laugh, chuckle, smile and cry. A Must See! At first I found it a bit dry for my tastes, but give it time, watch it, you will end up watching to the end, and watch the credits as this is based on a true story.

Going In Style   (2017)   {Comedy, Crime}  [8]
After their company cuts their pensions, 3 old men (Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Alan Arkin) plan a bank robbery from the bank that absconded their money. Cut flick, worth the watch, I really liked it.

Rumspringa - An Amish in Berlin   (2022)   {Comedy, Drama}  [7]
An Amish teen goes to Berlin for his Rumspringa, losing his bag at the airport, he befriends a local. It was a cute and wholesome movie, worth a watch.

The Mother   (2023)   {Action, Thriller}  [7]
Ex-military sharp shooter and survivalist J-Lo has to give up her newly born daughter because some very bad men are after her and will stop at nothing to get to her, even thru her daughter. Twelve years later, and the bad guys find the daughter and J-Lo steps in to get her back. The story was good, but I feel the storyline was a little jagged. I well put together film, even with jaggy storyline, still worth a view.

Eat, Pray, Bark   (2026)   {Comedy, Drama}  [4]
Five dog owners with bad doggies attend a special dog training retreat with a Celtic guru that promotes harmony with your K9 friend. Not everything is what it seems and not everyone is there to train their dogs, and in some cases it's the humans that need training and not the dogs. The story isn't bad, it just wasn't executed well, the storyline just lacked. It's a Swiss dub, if you can get past that, it's a good hangover day watch.

Vampires Suck   (2010)   {Comedy, Parody}  [8]
A spoof on Twilight, it is a cute parody. Some dry and some good jokes, but I really liked how this movie followed the original Twilight (not series) almost scene for scene. Add in actress Jenn Proske playing Bella, it was an excellent representation of the actress Kristen Stewart's mannerisms, she not only is girl next door beautiful, she is also quite talented and played it well. If you're a Twilight fan, and you like spoof comedies, you'll love this, I highly suggest it.

The Hungover Games   (2014)   {Comedy, Parody}  [7]
An "airplane" like spoof on The Hangover and Hunger Games. This was a campy/goofy flick, I found quite entertaining, lots of funny references and cute storyline to merge the 2 stories together. Extra points for a gratuitous amount of bare boobs, always a plus!!! Impressive cast of characters, two of which were spitting images from The Hangover.

Breaking Wind   (2012)   {Comedy, Parody}  [5]
An "airplane" like spoof on the Twilight vampire movies. Plenty of other movie references, campy and cute, I chuckled a bit. Weak storyline and too many poop and fart jokes for my tastes, and a bit vulgar sex wise, it was off putting for me.

I Feel Pretty   (2018)   {RomCom}  [7]
Amy Schumer, is an insecure, not confident women that has a fall at a spinning class and now believes that she's model hot, something that she wishes for with all her heart. With her new found prettiness, gets a job as receptionist at her company’s front desk, some of the hottest models work it and her personality and confidence wins the job and more. Coincidences and confidence just fuel the new pretty, even though it is all in her head. A very cute flick, I think the film really started out with some gusto, I really thought it would end better, but still not a bad flick, worth the watch. Almost like Shallow Hal, only in reverse.

Uglies   (2024)   {SciFi, Drama}  [6]
In a futuristic utopian world, at your 16th bday they give you a full makeover from head to toe and make you pretty, no longer ugly. There seems to be an issue with the process and there are rebellious forces bound to stop it at all costs. Our protagonist "Tally" (Joey King of Kissing booth 1,2,3) is caught in the middle of this power struggle, unsure which side to be part of. I really liked the idea of the story, but not the storyline. The idea was sound, and the video, sound, direction and acting were all spot on, but the storyline lacked. If you look past some of the hover board segments that were kinda bad effects wise, it was all good. They paid a lot of money, some great effects and overall good film work, for a dud. What I expected to be a 9 Sci-Fi show turned into a 6 scruffy fiction. If it weren’t for Joey, it would have been a 5 for me. They relied too much on hover boards and sewed this story line together with dental floss, not to mention some other BS, when they should have focused on solidifying the story itself. Sadly, the movie ending is setup to have a sequel+ and I don't think that will happen. It's like Hunger games, meets Matrix, meets Back to the Future, meets a Shitty film.

Send Help   (2026)   {Horror, Comedy}  [9]
Rachel McAdams (Dr. Strange's Christine) plays a frumpy hard worker Linda, that crash lands on an island with her horrible new boss right after she was passed up for a promotion by him. It's a matter of will and wits to survive and get rescued, as this yuppie boss has to take help from an expert survivalist Linda. I wasn't sure how to take this Horror Comedy, until I was laughing as people were dying on the airplane crash. This movie is awesome, but kinda twisted, but the lovely twisted. I would suggest this as a must see!!! Misery meets Castaway, meets WTF. It's great, it's funny, it's cringe, it's awesome, it's WTF!!! Out match, outwit, out play, out WTF... baby!

Avatar: Fire and Ash   (2025)   {Action, Fantasy}  [7]
Blue is at it again, this time the family is under attack once again. Spider breaks his breathing mask and a new Avatar tribe attacks. Blue against blue against pink, it's just another day on planet Avatar. I can't really bad mouth the Avatars; they are great action and effects, direction and storyline. Still, it is the same sh!t, planet spirituality and tribe like living with plenty of action and fighting, there is always fighting. If you like the Avatars, you'll like this. If you're not a fan, I wouldn't bother.

I Am Mother   (2018)   {Thriller, SciFi}  [8]
A teenage girl is being raised in a bunker by a droid called mother. The droid has taught and raised her from embryo. The girl "Daughter" is the only known human in existence, she has never seen another human, animal, or outside because it's a wasteland as supposedly unsafe. It's just another day in the bunker when a stranger (Hillary Swank) comes knocking on the airlock. It was a good SciFi flick.

True Spirit   (2023)   {Adventure, Sport}  [9]
This is a true story about a sixteen year old Australian girl Jessica Waston (Teagan Croft) wanting to be the youngest person to circumnavigate the world in a sailboat (24,000 miles, approx. 7 months without port). Some people are against her and family for letting someone so young go on such a dangerous endeavor. To top this off, she is dyslexic and has had a bunch of mishaps in training/practice. I absolutely loved this story, being a dyslexic sailor myself, I loved sailing and totally can relate to this story and love the storyline (It is a true story), very well put together. What is really the best part is you get to see the actual girl in the credits with live footage from the journey. I highly suggest this for family and friends, Must See!

A Perfect Pairing   (2022)   {Rom-Com}  [7]
Lola (Victoria Justice), a wine lover and professional wine distributor working for a popular but mislead company, is backstabbed by her work beastie by stealing her idea to go with a certain Aussie vineyard. After quitting her job, she goes to Australia to plead her case and convince the wine maker to go with her newly formed company, before her old company gets in contact with them. For her to stay longer she helps with farm chords on the shorthanded vineyard grounds and gets to know the family business a bit better, with a little bit of help from (Adam Demos), the lead farm hand. This is a great setup for a nice RomCom, and it was cute to see her failing at / falling on some of the farm chores, but it was predictable and the storyline could have been better. Don’t get me wrong, I did like it, it was cute, but it’s no better than any other RomCom out there.

Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special   (2026)   {Documentary, Family}  [1]
I am not embarrassed to say I’m a fan of the Hannah Montana show, but not a Miley Cyrus in her later years. The original series not only had a good storyline, premise, it had some hit music, it is a heart-felt family binge comedy drama, it was cute and we can all relate to the coming of age stories, not to mention what a cool way to launch Miley using a TV show to push songs, smart play Billy Ray. I loved how her real dad (Billy Ray Cyrus - Achy Breaky Heart) was her dad in the show. WITH THAT SAID, I am going to call this 20th Hannaversary disappointing, seemed all about Miley and not the TV show. This is the same Miley that refused to play Hannah music at her shows, pissing on her origins and disappointing Hannah fans everywhere. I got this feeling it was all about Miley and not Hannah really and it definitely wasn't about the original show, it was about her, and more her, and her family. Miley, always over dressed in this show, as far as I'm concerned you should show up in plain clothes, it's an anniversary / reunion, this is behind the scenes. It was truly lacking the original cast interviews or appearances. This anniversary special was an abomination; it was not that good and disingenuous. If you and/or your family loved Hannah Montana, then I would say watch it for some nostalgia. It has some interesting tales, trivia and secrets behind the show, but mostly just gave props to the Cyrus family. I my opinion, it lacked the soul of Hannah Montana and gave you the spirit of egotistical instead. It has interviews, QA, some songs being sung, and just a lot of the diva Miley. Her real family was in it, but it was missing a lot of the original cast, which makes this more of a family reunion than show anniversary… Missing: Her best gal pal Lily (Emily Osment), her guy best friend (Michael Musso), her brother Jackson (Jason Earles), Rico, all of which these are the core cast members and were not there. Well, you get to see her dad, sister, mom and drum roll... a very rough looking Selena Gomez. I honestly think this is a waste of an hour, I got nothing out of it except just irritated at the diva prancing around, all with that old lady raspy voice, kind of disgusting. Google says the reason it lacked cast was scheduling conflicts and the idea was a hannaverary, and not a reunion show. I call bullsh!t, I'm pretty sure it was Miley wanting to focus on Miley, they could have easily shot off location segments of other cast members and they really should have, UNLESS... there was some bad blood or hate between them, probably caused by Miley. Lacking Emily Osment was a big turn off for me, get over yourself diva Miley. Thumbs down for me, can't get that hour of my life back.

The Bluff   (2026)   {Action, Adventure}  [9]
Pirate captain Francisco (Karl Urban) with quarter master (Temuera Morrison) come to an island bluff looking for their lost treasure, and mother Ercell Bodden (Priyanka Chopra) does whatever it takes to defend her disabled son and rebellious teen sister from the pirates. This isn't just a random pirate venture, they know the gold is on this island and are willing to stop at nothing to get it. Secrets are revealed as the story unfolds in this action-centric swashbuckler of a movie. Very good, well done, good storyline and plenty of pirate action, a must see as far as I am concerned.

The Wrecking Crew   (2025)   {Action, Comedy}  [9]
Dave Batista and Jason Momoa team up as estranged feuding half brothers, one a cop, the other a Navy officer, meet in Hawaii for their fathers funeral. When they start investigating his death, they find out secrets they weren't supposed to find out. Add in spicy girlfriend Morena Baccarin and side kick Jacob Batalon and you got an explosive action flick. Plenty of sarcastic slams and punches thrown. I liked it, it was humorous and plenty of action. I wouldn't mind seeing this team up again.

Afterlight   (2021)   {SciFi, Drama}  [6]
Five separate sci fi stories in a futuristic setting. The first story was the best, a widowed women with special contacts was using AI software to help with a date, her optics are hijacked by a hacker and they want a ransom or they will blind her, intrude on her life, create images, delete her cherished photos. While this was the best story, the others are pretty good but they fizzle out a bit story wise, they almost leave one a little empty, like the stories weren't complete.

Nobody wants to shoot a woman   (2024)   {Crime, Drama}  [7]
After an abused wife loses her gambling bank robber boyfriend, paying the bills becomes impossible, so she joins the bank robber boys and pulls heists, known as machine gun Mary. No name actors, pretty good flick, I'm not much for crime or mob type films, but this was a pretty good story

Bulls   (2026)   {Comedy, Sports}  [2]
Two brothers that own a dive bar host the international darts championship to improve business, matched up against a couple of famous doosh bag dart players from Manchester. I'm not sure how this qualifies as a comedy, I didn't find it funny, I might actually start a new genre called "Anti-Comedy". The acting is 3rd rate, it lacks a storyline, predictable, boring, forced scenarios. When they do a joke about a pocket vagina and that is one of the key comedy moments, that's pathetic. It's actually disappointing, because it was fairly well put together, sound/music, videography and direction are fairly decent, if it only had better writers and something of a better storyline. I would have the gang from Adam Sandler's "Happy Madison" take a stab at the storyline to see if they could make this funny. Rotten tomatoes had a field day with this movie, especially the shitty Manchester accents. Just sad.

Anaconda   (2025)   {Action, Comedy}  [7]
Jack Black and Paul Rudd are best friends in a midlife crisis, decide to remake one of their favorite films. They hire a snake handler, book a jungle cruise boat and they are off. There are more than dangers in the jungle than the wild life, twisting them into this action drama. It was a cute film, some funny parts.

Peacemaker   (2022)   {Action, Comedy}  [8]
John Cena continues where Suicide Squad left off, after he gets out of the hospital from his wounds, he is recruited by a secret team to find and kill people on the list of threats. He's a meat head with weapons and fighting abilities, not a super hero, but not a villain, somewhere in-between with special powers in each of the different helmets. It's a goofy fun storyline worth the binge. It's a DC comics offshoot, kinda like Dead pool, only goofy and funny and weird. worth a watch, check out the first few episodes and see if you get hooked.

Boots   (2025)   {War, Drama}  [8]
A young gay man enlists in the Marines in the early 90's where that was frowned upon, without his mothers knowledge and begins basic training, where many of the men have demons and secrets galore, as they work thru them to become men and marines. The drill sergeant is extra hard on him and drama ensues as he has to deal with bullies and authority. I'm not a boot camp movie fan, but this is a binge worthy flick, worth the watch. I could not stop watching it. It has a really good storyline, you really cheer them on, sometimes cringe, but overall you want them to succeed, even the assholes.

Finding O'hana   (2021)   {Adventure, Family}  [7]
A young island girl finds a pirate map and goes on an treasure hunt. The Goonies meets Lilo without Stitch. It's a cute family film.

K-19 Widowmaker   (2002)   {War, Action}  [7]
Based on a true story about Russia's first nuclear sub, before it even launched, 10 men died in building it, so it was known as the widow maker. Harrison ford plays a captain that is pushing the limits of the sub and Liam Neeson is another captain under him, advising and objecting. The practice drills soon turn into real drills as the faulty sub begins to have issues. Very intense show, and pretty good.

The Half Of It   (2020)   {RomCom, Drama}  [9]
A young Asian girl writes homework/papers for other students for money is asked by a football jock with poor speaking skills to woo a girl he is in love with, the only problem, she is in love with the same girl. Teetering between her own feelings, she writes notes and texts to his would be love. I love this storyline because it goes where you least expect it. worth a view!!!

Holiday in the Wild   (2019)   {Romance, Adventure}  [11]
Kate's (Kristin Davis of Sex in the City fandom) husband leaves her just before a 2nd honeymoon in Africa. She goes anyway and meets Rob Lowe, tour guide and elephant enthusiast. She's a unpracticed veterinarian and she offers her help at a elephant rehab clinic when they find a baby elephant orphaned by poachers. This is a beautiful adventure, not your typical romance flick, I absolutely love the storyline and this is a Must See!!! What I love is it's not focused on romance, so much as the elephants. Love This!!!

Like Father   (2018)   {Drama, Comedy}  [9]
Left at the alter, a workaholic (Kristen Bell) gets drunk with her estranged father (Kelsey Grammer) and ends up stuck on her honeymoon cruise with him. A really cute storyline and movie, worth a watch! This is Kristen Bell best performance ever, you can FEEL her hate/distained for her father, it's quite impressive.

Sirens   (2025)   {Drama}  [5]
Drama queen Devon (Meghan Fahy), who tracks her sister, Simone (Millie Alcock), to a remote island where she is the devoted assistant to the erratic socialite Michaela "Kiki" Kill (Julianne Moore). The drama culminates in a twist, with Simone taking over Kiki's role, fuel by a troubled childhood, emotions spill. It's a weird limited series, you feel like there is some super natural effects going on, it's just ODD and I couldn't follow it. Force drama and mysterious unexplained details, I didn't care for it.

The Santa Clarita Diet   (2019)   {SitCom}  [7]
Drew Barrymore plays a married women that eats an odd seafood dish, the next day turns zombie, craving human meat. It's a goofy show, and has some funny moments. It spans 3 seasons, and the storyline weakens by then. A cute flick, but they ran out of good material and started scraping. Great 1 season show, check it out, judge for yourself.

Marry Me   (2022)   {RomCom}  [7]
A pop star (Jennifer Lopez) impulsively agrees to marry a math teacher (Owen Wilson) jokingly holding a friends Marry Me sign during an live performance

The Wrong Missy   (2020)   {RomCom}  [9]
David Spade meets the women of his dreams, gets her name and number and decides to inviter her on a business trip as his plus one to impress the boss, only one problem, he invites the wrong "Missy", and I mean THE WRONG MISSY. Great storyline, I laughed hard on this one.

Holidate   (2020)   {RomCom}  [8]
Tired of dating and pressure from their parents, 2 single people decide to be their other significant for the holidays, no commitment, just a holidate. I really love the storyline on this, I highly suggest you watch, pretty darn good

Lockwood n Co - season 1   (2023)   {Adventure, Supernatural}  [6]
Welcome to junior varsity Ghostbusters steam punk edition, where young people are the only ones able to fight ghosts. The first episode had me, they paid a pretty price for the effects, after that the story full of forced drama and lacking effects and story, just sort of lost me. I did like the premise and starting story, but the writer(s) had a great idea, just failed to finish a great idea. I give them props for the idea, and a bag of doody for the general story.

A discovery of Witches   (2018)   {Romance/Fantacy}  [7]
A historian and reluctant witch who discovers a cursed manuscript that pulls her into a dangerous world of vampires, daemons, and ancient secrets. A vampire notices her at a library, fascinated he stalks her while she researches ancient texts. I liked it for a while but after a bit, it got overrated, worth seeing the first few episodes or season.

Dogma   (1999)   {Comedy/Fantasy}  [11]
Two angels thrown out of heaven, come upon some information that dogmatically will allow them back into heaven. Who's to stop them, Jay and Silent Bob, an abortion clinic secretary, and the 11th apostle. This is a GREAT film and a MUST SEE. Great comedy and what a great storyline, written and directed by Kevin Smith (Clerks).

What we do in the shadows   (2014)   {Horror/Comedy}  [8]
A dry "The Office" like take on some vampires nightly lives. If you liked Flight of the Concords starring Jemaine Clement, you will like this. It's campy and goofy, I'd suggest a gummy for added fun.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot   (2019)   {Comedy, Action}  [10]
The boys are back and they are going to again try to stop a movie from being made. This one is chuck full of rips on Kevin's movies and even Kevin Smith is starting as Silent bob and Kevin Smith, even his daughter stars in this. It's non stop laughter, but you need to get acquainted with Kevin Smith films to get all the laughter.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back   (2001)   {Comedy, Stoner}  [9]
Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes star as stoner characters from Kevin directed films (Jay and Silent Bob in Clerks and then beyond) finally have their own movie instead of just the two hanging out at convenience stores, malls or abortion clinics. The two make their way to Hollywood to stop a film from being made. This is a great film and a must see, if you don't like Kevin Smith films, this might tip the scales.

Bad Stan   (2007)   {Comedy, Action}  [8]
Rob Schneider stars as a busted con man, about to be put into prison. He hires David Carridine, a kungfu master to train him (before he officially goes to prison) so he won't be a prison bitch to anyone. I liked this movie, the premise is a little weird, but the prison yard action and kungfu by Rob is awesome, I highly suggest watching this.

50 First Dates   (2004)   {RomCom, Drama}  [11]
Henry (Adam Sandler), a zoo animal vet in Hawaii, he a master player of dating and never calling back, until he runs into Lucy (Drew Barrymore) when his sailboat breaks down, and he stops at a cafe. Henry finds her charming and when he shows up the next day, she doesn't remember him because she has a brain disorder after a car accident. Her friends and family make her think it's the same day, every day. Henry comes up with goofy ways to meet her each day, because she'd a bit fickle and not a push over when it comes to charm. This is one of my fav RomComs ever, I absolutely love the storyline, Sandler knocks it out of the park and Barrymore is just HOT! MUST SEE!!!

The Last Airbender   (2005)   {Animation, Fantasy}  [9]
The Last Airbender Animation, multiple seasons to cover all the benders (water, air, land, and fire), this is the full story. Aang ran away from his tribe when he found out he was the next avatar and was frozen in a wave for 100 years with his air Bison. Katara and her brother discover him and after their water bender village is attacked, they go on a quest to find answers. I liked the version but I also liked the previous, but this felt more genuine having the characters Asian as that more accurate. The series and movies are probably for kids, young teens, some adults, but I would think most adults may not like it.

The Last Airbender   (2010)   {Animation, Fantasy}  [8]
Based on the animation The Last Airbender, Aang ran away from his tribe when he found out he was the next avatar and was frozen in a wave for 100 years with his air Bison. Katara and her brother discover him and after their water bender village is attacked, they go on a quest to find answers. I liked this movie, but it was weird having the main characters non-Asian, some critics also felt the same. The series and movies are probably for kids, young teens, some adults, but I would think most adults may not like it.

The Last Airbender   (2024)   {Animation, Fantasy}  [8]
Based on the animation The Last Airbender, Aang ran away from his tribe when he found out he was the next avatar and was frozen in a wave for 100 years with his air Bison. Katara and her brother discover him and after their water bender village is attacked, they go on a quest to find answers. I liked the version but I also liked the previous, but this felt more genuine having the characters Asian as that more accurate

The Ranch   (2016)   {Dramedy}  [6]
Ashton K is a screw up kid with an overbearing father (Sam Elliot) where they work a ranch and the ins and outs of owning that much land and owning the bank and breaking even. I liked it at first, but then the story got repetitive, screw ups and bad choices, it was just an irritating story, like shitty family dramas, so I quit watching. Stream That 70's Show, it's better!!!

Black Doves   (2024)   {Thriller, Action}  [8]
Helen Webb (Keira Knightley), a mother and politician's wife secretly working for a "spies-for-hire" organization. When her lover is assassinated, she pairs with her friend, assassin Sam (Ben Whishaw), to uncover a conspiracy, I liked the limited series, I would suggest it for all. Kira does a great job in this flick

Maid   (2021)   {Drama}  [7]
A young single mother gets away from an abusive relationship with a child, working as a maid, broke and desperate, try to find places to stay and find ways to feed her kids and get her head above water. I liked the series for a while, but then it started getting repetitive, bad luck, poor choices that hit home, I stopped watching. It was good early on, but the entertainment evaporated with the storyline after the pilot. Work viewing the first 3 episodes, then you choose if you want to continue.

Chef   (2014)   {Comedy Drama}  [8]
A chef is ordered by the owner to make the old menu for a critic, and he tears him apart for not making something new or unique. A Twetter wars starts by the chef whom knows nothing about how it works, words and videos get out and make the chef look bad

Happy Gilmore   (1996)   {Comedy}  [10]
I love Adam Sandler and he knocks it out of the park…. Excuse me, he gets a hole in one on this comedy. Happy loves hockey, but he sucks at it, and continues to be turned down, till he finds out he's really good at golf, with a crazy swing. Comedy gold, you have a hockey player playing golf, there are fights, swearing, drinking and that's just at hole #1, and the fight with Bob Barker is brilliant. This is a Must See!

Grown Ups 2   (2013)   {Comedy, Drama}  [7]
Good to see a mostly SLN and comedy cast, the laughs continue to roll. You watch this for the comedy and skits and not for a storyline. 90% funny, 10% story. Sandler and the gang to a good job with laugh out loud campy comedy.

Mindcraft   (2025)   {Adventure, Fantasy, Comedy}  [5]
ehhh. I love Jack Black, but this is really a kids movie, not like Frozen/Moana, more like power rangers. I fell asleep thru most of this and honestly don't care if I see again. it was cute, but if you don't play mindcraft, you probably will miss out. also, you have to be a child to enjoy it. Wouldn't have been surprise if JarJar would show up in this. But the Lava Chicken song is awesome.

Grown Ups   (2010)   {Comedy, Drama}  [8]
Good to see a mostly SLN and comedy cast, the laughs continue to roll. You watch this for the comedy and skits and not for a storyline. 90% funny, 10% story. Sandler and the gang to a good job with laugh out loud campy comedy.

The House Maid   (2025)   {Thriller, Suspense, Drama}  [7]
Starring Sidney Sweeny, a girl with a tough past, she needs a job as part of her parole, so she takes a housemaid position with a rich couple to start fresh. Behind closed doors secrets run amuck and there is just something not right with the household. It's not bad, some predictable, some twisted twists. Parts of it forced and confusing at first, but the story comes together. I'm not 100% sold on the storyline, but it is unique and some brief Sidney nudity making it worth the watch.

Beef   (2023)   {Drama, Dark, Comedy}  [8]
about two strangers—a failing contractor (Steven Yeun - Glen of walking dead) and a stressed entrepreneur (Ali Wong - Comedian)—whose lives descend into chaos following a road rage incident. This is a Crazy binge, I couldn't stop watching, it's just brutal how evil they get to each other.

I am not ok with this   (2020)   {Drama, Dark, Comedy}  [7]
An origin story of a teen that comes into her telekinetic power, after navigating high school and the grief over her fathers suicide. From what I remember of this, it was good, and worth a view.

Russian Doll   (2019)   {Dark, Comedy, Mystery}  [9]
Comedian Natasha Lyonne plays a cynical drug using bitch, that attends a party, and everytime she tries to leave, she dies. It's like a drug using cynical, trash version of Ground Hog Day. It's really off the wall, I liked it. She can be a real piece of work at times, but I love the way she keeps dying. It's fricken great, must see!!!

Queens Gambit   (2020)   {Drama}  [9]
A young girl learns to play chess from the janitor of her orphanage and gets especially good at playing when she starts using certain pills that help her focus. She starts a chess career at a young age, when women didn't participate in open tourneys (1950-60s) and ultimate goal is to beat the world champ. This was a great flick and my first notice of Anya Taylor-Joy and it was addicting. Being a chess player it was fun to follow along and keep the writers in check (pun intended), they do a great job keeping with the rules of chese, bonus points!!! Must See

Sense 8   (2015)   {Drama, Thriller, Mystery}  [10]
A group of 8 people all born on the same day have a sort of psychic link spanning thousands of miles. As they learn to visit and talk to each other and their powers grow, also the knowledge of their enemy, someone that wants to control them. I love this storyline, they did such a great job, I consider this a much watch. you have to be open to LGBTQ, as there is some passionate moments, and some nudity, keep an open mind and love this show as much as I.

Stargate SG1 (10 seasons)   (1997)   {SciFi, Action}  [9]
After the events of the movie Stargate, a team is formed to go thru the Stargate to travel to other worlds and access threats and bring back technology that will help defend the earth. I love this series, it's like Star Trek, with a bit of an detailed storyline past the stand alone stories. They changed the storyline a little but it's done very well. Richard Dean Anderson of Mcgyvere fandom stars as the lead of SG1 along with Amanda Tapping. I consider this a must see, gotta forgive the 90's tech, after that, very good storyline.

Stargate   (1994)   {SciFi, Action}  [10]
Scientists in a hidden base try to decode an ancient large ring found in egypt. Daniel Jackson (James Spader) with his not so excellent reputation comes up with a solution and opens the gate to another world via a worm hole. Jack O'Neill (Kurt Russell) bring a team thru with Jackson to determine what is on the other side and analyze the threat. This is a great must see film, really makes you think about religion, the government and aliens.

The Night Agent: season 1   (2023)   {Action, Crime, Thriller}  [10]
A man sits in an office for 12 hours a day by a phone that never rings until one day it does. He takes codes from secret agents on the other line needing assistance and evac. In this case, a mother gave her adult daughter the codes and told her to call this number if anything happened to them. This is a great Binge, especially season 1 of 3.

Legion   (2010)   {Horror, Action, Adventure}  [8]
The battle between good and evil starts at a truck stop where a fallen angel must protect an expecting mothers baby from his own kind. Paul Bettany (known as Vision in Avengers) plays the fallen angel well, you'll want to check this out, seeing the grandma crawling on the ceiling gave me creeps for weeks. Great action, lots of religious battles, worth the view!!!

Space Force   (2020)   {SitCom, Drama}  [6]
Starring Steeve Carell as General Naird, the person in charge of making Space Force happen, the newest branch of military as per the President of USA. It's a cute comedy, but I wouldn’t say it's overwhelmingly funny. I'm not a fan of Carell, so I am a little bias. John Malkovich and Lisa Kudrow also make an apperance. I watched it, I mean the story keeps you watching, but in the end, you realize you wasted hours of your life. check out the first 2 episodes and judge for yourself

Tron Legacy   (2010)   {SciFi, Adventure}  [8]
Flynn is nowhere to be found in the real world, one day his son Sam gets a page to go to his arcade. When Sam gets there, he finds the back lab and gets zapped into the computer system. Sam, who is fairly good at video games because his dad was a software designer, fights in the games and finds out his father created a problem Clu that is running the Grid and he must be taken down. I liked it, some critics didn't care for it, but I loved the light cycle are improved and they added light Jets, the story line was lacking a little, but I still liked it

Tron   (1982)   {SciFi, Adventure}  [10]
Flynn (Jeff Bridges) the writer of a video game is trying to hack the Encon systems to get proof he was the author, the master control program (MPC) uses special laser tech to scan and zap him into the computer world. Flynn, finds himself in a computer world, where programs live and serve the users (their god). The cruel and ruthless MPC is forcing computer programs to fight on the grid, where they play games to the death (Deresolution). He stumbles upon Tron, a program who's orders are to destroy the MCP. I love Tron, for those computer illiterate, that stands for Trace On (old school computers). Light cycles are pretty cool, I loved this movie, even thought the video tech back in the day was fairly new, I think the storyline and the effects was great and ahead of their time.

Dune Part 2   (2024)   {SciFi, Adventure}  [9]
A good continuation, The rise of Paul and the start of his power, learning more depth to the story and the players, the conspiracies and beyond

Dune Part 1   (2021)   {SciFi, Adventure}  [9]
You are introduced to the characters and it's Probably the best Dune so far, with the effects and sticking closer to the original story, this was a good flick. The story is split into 3 parts and this allows for a better and accurate version of the movies from the books. Quite the star studded cast from Timothy Chalamet as Paul, Zendaya as Chani, Oscar Issac and Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin and Dave Bautista!

Frank Herberts Dune (mini series)   (2000)   {SciFi, Adventure}  [8]
Any interesting take, the storyline was a little different, but they followed good, a little bit better on Paul's rise to power and his powers, it was good to watch this version after the 1984 version.

Dune   (1984)   {SciFi, Adventure}  [8]
A young prince and his family on a water planet are asked by the emperor to run the planet Arrakis (Know as Dune), where they harvest "The Spice", which is crucial for Interstellar Travel, extends human life and unlocks prophetic abilities. House Harkonnen is not happy losing such a valuable business, they won't let it be taken easily. The planet Dune has a race of people in the Desert named the Fremen, they traverse the sand and live in harmony with the giant sand worms, whom protect their Desert. The first Dune Movie I ever saw, it was a little confusing, you had to watch in 2-3 times to get most out of it, they tried to cram multiple books in an epic story into a 2:17 hour movie. I liked it, Kyle MacLachlan does a good job as Paul Atredies. Unfortunately some of the story is lost by cutting it down and they didn't follow the books 100%.

Arrested Development   (2019)   {Sitcom, Drama}  [6]
Follows Michael Bluth as he attempts to manage his eccentric, shallow family after his wealthy father is imprisoned for embezzlement. It's dry humor, sometimes cute, but I wasn't overly impressed, just doesn't keep my attention, maybe a good hangover binge

The Black Hole   (1979)   {SciFi, Drama}  [2]
The crew of the U.S.S. Palomino discovers the long-lost U.S.S. Cygnus defying gravity near a black hole. Led by Dr. Reinhardt and his menacing robot Maximilian, the ship is run by a zombified crew, and there plan is to explore the black hole. I loved this show when I was a kid. I just watched it and what a stinky pile of poop. The 70's mentality, costumes and stage design is just horrible. The storyline is weaker than egg shell, though the black hole effects weren't bad for that era, it's a thumbs down for me, I couldn't even sit thru it

Hotel Transylvania 4: Transformania   (2021)   {Family, Comedy, Animation}  [9]
After an experiment, Johnny turns into a monster and everyone else becomes human. Now they will need to find a way reverse this experiment, Drac and Son In Law Johnny must go to South America to try to find a Crystal. Another great storyline, way to go happy madison gang

Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation   (2018)   {Family, Comedy, Animation}  [9]
Just a bullshit overrated action flick. Unrealistic and confusing. I would rewind time so i could unwatch this POS. Don't get me wrong, the effects and acting are great, it's just an unbelievable story, to build such a great structure just to weed out

Hotel Transylvania 2   (2015)   {Family, Comedy, Animation}  [9]
Dracula and his friends try to bring out the monster in his half human, half vampire grandson in order to keep Mavis from leaving the hotel. Love these storylines

Hotel Transylvania   (2012)   {Family, Comedy, Animation}  [9]
Adam Sandler and the Happy Madison gang voice act this quite funny animation about a hotel run by monsters, and so are the guests. I hippy kid stops in to stay and he's freaky enough to be a form of a monster. Dracula's vampire daughter just turned 118 and wants to venture into the world, but Drac doesn't want to lose her. Great and fun flicks for kids and adults.

Jurassic World Rebirth   (2025)   {Action, Horror}  [8]
Yep, yet another rendition, this time all the dino's are dying not in the tropical belt. An RX company is looking to hire Scarlett Johansson to lead a team to get dino blood from 3 different types. The money is worth the danger, so they break the laws and make a trip to a dino island and attempt to get the blood without killing or harming them. Spoiler Alert, some people die via the dyno's as expected, poorly planned equipment and security protocols release a human engineered hybrid as expected. Won't they ever learn to NOT make hybrids? JP or JW are always impressing dino action movies, but it's getting as old as Rocky 3-7. More of the same shit, stupid people going where they shouldn't go and some die. I mean outside the stupid premise, some of the dino action was impressive, especially the T-Rex in a river. If you like the JP/JW movies, you'll like it, if you don't, then pass it by.

The Dead Won't Die   (2019)   {Satire, Horror}  [8]
The greatest zombie cast ever disassembled starring Bill Murray & Adam Driver as small town cops having to deal with a zombie attack. It's goofy and small town slow like Fargo, it's a good movie to watch stoned. Also starring Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones.

Tuck Everlasting   (2002)   {Drama, Fantasy}  [10]
Winifred Foster (Alexis Bledel, the daughter in Gilmore girls) is a young girl about to enter womanhood in the late 1800s stuck behind a fence of her family's rich home. Controlled by mother, she reveals her rebellious daughter would be going to boarding school far away to learn how to be a proper lady. Winnie ventures outside the fence and is lost in the woods where she stumble upon Jesse (Jonathan Jackson) drinking from a tree spring that changed the entire Tuck family forever. The family takes her in (kinda kidnapping) to protect the secret of the spring, but she has no interest in going back to her family after spending a few days with Jesse and the Tuck family. I loved this Disney story, imaginative and unique, family friendly storyline. Must See, Also starring William Hurt at Father, Sissy Spacek as mother, and Ben Kingsley as the relentless antagonist after the secret. It is light hearted and just a beautiful storyline. Alexis was an excellent casting for this role and she does it well. I personally would have liked to see Liam Neeson as the father but William Hurt does a good job.

Disney: Pete's Dragon   (2016)   {Disney, Fantasy}  [8]
Starting Robert Redford (father), Bryce Dallas Howard (daughter) and Karl Urban, tells the tale of a 5 year old boy that is orphaned in a car accident and lives 6 years in the wild. He meets a dragon deep woods that is his friend and protector. It's a magical tale, cute family flick I suggest highly. This is way better than the 1977 (shite) live action and animation musical version (watched for 10 min and turned itoff)

Laggies   (2014)   {Drama, RomCom}  [7]
Kira Knightly is in her 20's, unsure about her future, no job, living with parents. Her boyfriend wants to elope, she needs to do some adulting soon. She buys booze for Chloe Grace Moretz, befriends her and stays at her house for a week. Her friends are judgemental; she just needs time to think things thru away from the friend and boyfriend drama. It's a cute flick, interesting storyline.

Players   (2024)   {RomCom}  [9]
Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) stars as Mack, one of a four person team of co-worker friends that have "plays" (detailed schemes) to pick up hot girls/guys in clubs. It has a Mission Impossible feel from how they execute their plays, advanced details and planning. One day Mack decides she wants to settle down, after she meets a famous writer (Tom Ellis the main character in the series Lucifer). The gang does recon and executes a multi-faceted plan to get the writer to fall for her. Gina can really talk fast, it was hard to keep up with the show but once I got in sync with it, it was quite enjoyable. I would highly suggest watching this lovable flick, Gina does an excellent job, I loved her character, what a great fit and a great rom-com, a good comedy! The storyline was brilliant and the movie was awesome.

Thank you for your Service   (2017)   {Drama, Biography, War}  [9]
Four service men come home from overseas, some with guilt, some with mental trauma, some with injuries, some with thoughts of suicide, all trying to go back to their lives. Based on a true story, we follow Adam (Miles Teller) the squad leader and his men as they try to acclimate to life after service, haunted by the ghosts of war. A very well put together flick, a must see.

Diggers   (2006)   {Drama, Comedy}  [3]
Paul Rudd stars as a clam digger along with brothers and friends around the 1980s. There isn't much to this flick, just some small town brothers dealing with the loss of their father and everyday life and 80’s type life. Not for me, thumbs down, meh.

Wind River   (2017)   {Drama, Mystery}  [7]
Jeremy Renner is a small town tracker on the Wind River reservation, out tracking one day and found a women's body in the middle of the woods barefoot in cold snow drift mountains of Wyoming. FBI agent Elizabeth Olsen is sent out to investigate the obvious foul play. Jeremy is recruited to help her with the case because of his keen senses. Very good flick, worth the view.

What We Left Behind: Looking Back at Star Trek: Deep Space Nine   (2018)   {Documentary, SciFi}  [9]
A Star Trek documentary about DS9. If you are a DS9 fan, this is a must see. Seeing everyone out of makeup and sharing stories was quite incredible. I absolutely loved this and I was giddy like a school girl watching this. The dude with a purple goatee was kinda off putting, and I never knew Garrick was pitted as gay, the tailor job should have gave it away. Good seeing the old gang again.

While I Wake   (2016)   {Horror, Fantasy}  [9]
Thomas Jane and Kate Bosworth star as parents that recently lost their son Sean, so they foster a young boy Cody of the same age. Cody has a secret; he forces himself to stay away with caffeine and stimulants so he won't fall asleep because when he dreams, they come true to life, along with his nightmares. This storyline is awesome, one of the best drama/horror flicks I've seen in a while, the perfect balance of scare and drama, A MUST SEE!!! Well written and just a delight to watch. As a side note, Kate has 2 different color eyes and one is multi-colored, just beautiful.

Sweet Girl   (2021)   {Action, Drama}  [9]
Jason Momoa stars as a father/husband, his wife is dying of cancer and the drug that could save her life is being shelved by the makers out of corporate greed. He vows on a news broadcast to come after the CEO if his wife dies. This was a great storyline, action and drama, very well done and some twists and turns that make this one of the best action flicks I've seen in a while, a must see.

Trap House   (2025)   {Action, Drama}  [8]
Widowed DEA agent Dave Bautista is doing his best at balancing his career and rebellious teen son. When one of the son's friends has to move out of El Paso due to money issues, he and his group of friends decide to rob a cartel trap house using his father’s creds to gain access to DEA leads. I liked this movie, very unique storyline and it was thought out well. You will want to see this flick, plenty of action and great story, great writing and direction!

Extinction   (2018)   {SciFi, Alien}  [7]
I man has reoccurring dreams of an alien invasion, the day he finally goes to a doctor to confront the dreams, it comes true and forces begin attacking that night. He, his wife and kids must traverse the high rise and avoid being shot. This movie was pretty good, most movies don't surprise or impress me, and this one did. I would suggest this is a must see.

Home Fries   (1998)   {Drama, Comedy}  [5]
Pregnant girl, cheating husband, two brothers that fly helocopters, a small town, and a fast food joint. When the brothers decide to scare their cheating step dad, things go bit too far. The storyline was just weird; I didn't think much of it. Starring Luke Wilson, Cathrine O'hara and Drew Berrymore.

Spectral   (2016)   {SciFi, Action}  [8]
The inventor of special military optics is brought into a mystery where as some soldiers are starting to see apparitions with the new optics, and a soldier died being touched by one of the invisible entities. The effects are great, the storyline is pretty good, but I found it far-fetched, I think they had a great storyline and ruined in with crappy writing. It pisses me off when they use real science and use it completely wrong. Still a pretty good flick, if you look past the bullshit use of science.

Stowaway   (2021)   {SciFi, Drama}  [7]
Anna Kendrick stars as a doctor astronaut bound for Mars with 2 others on her team. Things take a turn shortly into the trip when they find an extra person on board inside a cabinet, which wasn't part of the mission. A very interesting storyline, it was a good, but this could have easily been a short story; there was a lot of fill and a short ending. If you like Anna or like real space type movies, it's for you. It's a good flick, I can't knock it, but I feel sort of empty now. I thing this story could have been better if they would have put more into it. Check it out and let me know your thoughts.

Wrath of Man   (2021)   {Action}  [7]
Jason Statham stars as a Armored Truck driver, though he barely passed the entrance exams/test on purpose, when it comes down to criminals, his elite training enables him to kick F*cking ass. With a proverbial resume padded with his elite training, why would a man with that talent drive an armored truck? You'll have to watch it to find out, because there is a damn good reason. I liked it, good action; Statham always puts out good action flicks. The storyline itself was good, but the director decided to jump around the timeline and some elements to the show just didn't seem to jive or make sense in the context (that I could keep up with), that was the only disappointing aspect. Had they just kept it a normal timeline, I would have enjoyed it more, but aside from some confusion, it's still a good flick.

Suburgatory   (2011)   {Sitcom, Binge}  [8]
A widowed husband decides to move his sexually active (finds condoms) daughter from Manhattan to the suburbs. This rebellious and sarcastic teen won't make living their easy for school mades or her dad. Both dad and daughter are fresh meat for the bullies and the religious town folks alike. Trying to adapt to the burbs and small town life, there is plenty of drama and funny times ahead. The story continues as the to New Yorkers have to adapt to the hell that is the suburbs. I loved this and it's a great hangover binge. Must See

The Secret Life of Pets   (2016)   {Cartoon, Kids}  [8]
A dog happy with his owner, is surprised when she comes home with a stray. Jealously, betrayal, it's all terrible until both dogs end up on the street. Must See, especially with children, very light hearted and funny. A lot of goofy slapstick, but kids will love it and parents will enjoy also.

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One   (2023)   {Action, Thriller}  [8]
Tom is back at it playing Ethan, an MI6 agent. In this installment, Ethan needs to find an important key that is somehow related to an AI system that is controlling things it shouldn't be. Add in a thief and both are going after the key. I'm not a big fan of MI movies, I've only seen maybe 3, but this by far was probably the best. A little bit of a different motif and some comedy portions, totally worth a view, can't wait for part 2 to come out. It was a good flick; you only need to see part 1 to appreciate the action flick. Tom Cruise and Hayley Atwell (you know her as Agent Carter) do an excellent performance.

Lone Survivor   (2013)   {Action, War}  [7]
An Afghanistan mission goes badly for a Navy SEAL team, struggling and fighting for survival after they are found out. Based on a true story, good action flick, surprising and worth the view.

Warrior Nun (2 seasons)   (2020)   {SciFi, Fantasy}  [9]
There is a secret group of nuns that fight demons unbeknownst to the public, the leader has an artifact in her back (the Halo), that gives her regenerative powers, and other abilities. In the most recent battle, the kryptonite to the halo called Dividium, is exploded and the leader has taken on a deadly amount of shrapnel. The proper procedure is to pass on the halo to the next available trained nun, but in the process, the demons ransack the convent/church and the replacement nun is out of commission. In a frantic move to hide the halo from the demons that desperately want it, another nun places it into the back of the dead body of a young orphan girl that recently passed. When the halo is inside a woman, it's difficult for the demons to find/see. This is an awesome story, don't let the title fool you, it's a GREAT storyline and I don't want to give away the plot or key components. Watch the first 2 episodes. I loved this so much I'm on my 4th time thru. The main character Ava (Alba Baptista) is a younger clone of Alyssa Milano, also Chris Evan's wife. MUST SEE!!! I loved it so much, I reviewed it twice.

This is 40   (2012)   {Drama, Comedy}  [6]
Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd are a couple in early 40's traversing the changes that life bring in the 40s with a few kids and a stale marriage. Cute flick, some funny parts, worth a view. I found it very segmented, like someone sewed up a bunch of comedy shorts into 1 movie. If you're 40+ you can relate and it has some cute moments. I would call this a coming of age, but it's more like a "dealing with age" type movie, Paul always delivers good comedy and you get to see Leslie's boob a few times. :)

He's All That   (2021)   {RomCom}  [5]
Basically it's "She's all that" only a guy this time. Similar premise, closer to our times than the 90's. It's great to see a cameo from the "She's all that" female lead Rachel Leigh Cook, as the mother. In the story, her daughter a cosmetic influencer tries to make a unpopular kid popular for a bet after a big loss of followers and break up. It's ok, sort of predictable and posh, I could take it or leave it. I think they could have done better with the storyline in 2021. It was given 4.5/10, and that's about right. It is worth the watch if you're hung over, but the storyline is too cliché.

The Secret: Dare to Dream   (2020)   {RomCom, Drama}  [6]
Katie Holmes stars as a windowed mother working a low paying job, behind in bills and 3 kids to keep alive in a house falling apart. A professor shows up to deliver some news but a hurricane has other plans. The professor delivers the package to the mailbox only to have the hurricane blow it away, so he stays to help fix the house after a tree falls thru it. I love the professor character, a kind soul and John Lucas does an excellent job portraying it and Katie obviously does her part well. It's a great story, but I hate forced mysteries, they keep you in the dark most of the movie about what's in package and of course withholding what's in the mailbox just creates forced drama later in the movie. I would call this a Must See, if you can look past the stupid "secret".

Homefront   (2013)   {Action, Crime, Thriller}  [8]
A widowed Ex-DEA agent, after a big bust, moves his daughter to a small down where there are meth labs, bullies and country folk that prefer revenge to bygones. The shit hits the fan once a bullied young girl fights back and bloodies the nose of another classmate boy. Her father always taught her to ask nicely twice before action, and she asked twice. Good flick, I typically don't like bully or drug films, but this was a nice storyline. Starring Wynonna Rider as a meth girl, Jason Statham as the father and James Franco does an excellent performance in the action packed flick.

Colossal   (2016)   {SciFi, Thriller}  [7]
Kicked out of her apt by current boyfriend, Anne Hathaway moves back to her home town, and meets up with old friend Jason Sudeikis. She battles alcoholism, relationship issues and her drunken escapades that cause a large Godzilla like monster to magically appear in Seoul, Korea, wreaking havoc on the city. This film went a different way than I assumed, but still a good flick. Anne and Jason do excellent job portraying the characters and I loved the ending. This is actually almost like it could have been 2 movies, but regardless, a little weird, but it's a cute sci-fi flick, especially with the few twists and turns, worth the view.

Mississippi Grind   (2015)   {Drama, Thriller}  [6]
Ryan Reynolds stars as a lucky man that likes to gamble and travels all over the US, meets up with Ben Mendelsohn at a poker game, a down on his luck realtor. Mix a lucky man with a man with a gambling addiction and you have an adventure. This is a pretty good storyline, but sometimes confusing, still overall worth the view.

The D Train   (2015)   {Comedy, Drama}  [7]
Jack Black stars as an unpopular person in his class, he is now chairman alumi and helping get people to come to the 20 year class reunion. He comes up with a plan to get the popular kid and actor to attract people to come to the reunion. He flies to LA and parties and convinces the guy to come with a line of BS around every turn. This was a cute Jack Black movie, I highly suggest it.

East of Wall   (2025)   {Drama, True Story}  [4]
A mother struggles to keep a horse ranch running with a handful of wayward teens and bills piling up. This is more like a documentary/reality TV than a movie, a little bit of artsy also. I didn't care for the storyline, it lacked a bit. If you like horse movies, this maybe for you, but it's a "no" from me. The tattoos, the shaved head haircuts, smoking and drinking, and the over use of the F word make this barely palatable. Like someone wanted to make a documentary as a movie about some South Dakota folks and their horse farm.

Your Monster   (2024)   {Fantasy, Drama, Horror, Romance}  [7]
A stage actress with low self-esteem, moves into her childhood home after a recent breakup with her director boyfriend, all while she's fighting cancer. In a fit of depression, crying and on the couch, her childhood monster comes out of the closet to scare her. Not having anywhere to go, the monster says she can have 2 weeks to find another place, as they co-exist. It's a cute idea for a movie, I personally don't care for the ending, but it's a fairly decent storyline.

Soul on Fire   (2025)   {Drama, True Story}  [7]
A young boy plays with gasoline and burns 100% of his body, given only 1% chance of surviving, the road to recovery is long and challenging. Inspirational, based on a true story.

The Magic of Belle Isle   (2012)   {Comedy, Drama}  [8]
A bitter retired writer (Morgan Freeman) moves into a cabin for the summer next to a mother and her 3 daughters. The middle daughter hires him to help and mentor her understanding of imagination. Rob Reiner does a great job on this flick. I'm not sold on Morgan Freeman as a pulp fiction cowpoke writer, the story is kind of weak, but has potential. It's a cute feel good movie, worth the view.

The Expanse - 6 seasons   (2015)   {SciFi, Thriller, Drama}  [10]
In the distant future, humans colonize mars and the asteroid belt. Tensions start to rise between the 3 human groups over time as they drift apart. Mars technology has nearly surpassed Earth, and so is their hate for Earther’s. Belters, with skinny twig like bodies due to low gravity, their hatred is even worse for all "inners". An unknown group attacks and is purposely causing friction between the 3 factions, causing social unrest, pushing them to the brink of war. A rich girl goes missing and a belter detective works on trying to find her. An ice cargo ship destined for the belt, whom is in dire need of water, stops for a distress call and the sh!t storm starts. This show has a lot going on and it's an awesome storyline, multiple stories all tie together, it is quite incredible. There is no warp drive, they use real gravity, real inertia, real engines and it feels like it would in reality and not the star wars/star trek sci-fi stuff. Watched this series 2 times thru and starting to watch it a 3rd time. This is one of the best sci-fi space flicks that I've ever seen, MUST SEE! Even better than Star Trek, and I love Star Trek. Honestly, I watched the first episode and didn't care for it till a co-worker told me to watch the first 3 or 4, so yeah, if the 1st episode doesn't do it for you, watch more, trust me, it gets crazy by the 7th episode. Trust in the Bret!!!

Hidden Strike   (2023)   {Action, Thriller}  [5]
Jackie Chan stars with John Cena. I love Jackie Chan flicks, this is just another one. I found it somewhat entertaining between naps. Ying Yang thumb for me. meh.

Flipped   (2010)   {Comedy, Romance, Coming of Age}  [8]
Set in the early 60s, a neighborhood boy is hounded by a girl who falls in love with him when they first meet as children. Irritated, he does everything he can over the years to avoid her. I don't want to give out anymore. I loved this story and how they show his side then her side of each interaction. Rob Reiner did a beautiful job on this flick; I consider this a Must See. Heartwarming and just a lovely story, makes you wish humans would communicate more and not keep things bottled up or to themselves.

Enough   (2002)   {Horror, Action, Drama}  [9]
Jennifer Lopez plays a mother trying to escape her wealthy, abusive husband with her young daughter in arms, being relentlessly chased / stalked by him, police can't help her and she finally has had "enough". This was a disturbing but awesome storyline, very good flick, I would highly suggest it.

Overboard   (2018)   {Comedy, Drama}  [7]
A reboot of the previous, Anna Faris plays the inverse role, she has 3 daughters, and a struggling mother gets screw over by a rich guy on a boat. Storyline was good, doesn't exactly compare to the original, but worth the watch, it was different enough and good to stand on its own.

Rumor Has It   (2005)   {Comedy, Drama}  [8]
Jennifer Aniston stars as a woman who believes that "The Graduate" Movie's "Mrs. Robinson" is potentially her grandma in real life. She is to determine to go on a trip to meet Kevin Costner, who maybe her father. It started out really slow and dry, I was sort of Facebooking during the start, but once the storyline caught up and we got past the character introductions and setting, it really took off. It really is a cute film and Jennifer does a great job, I would suggest it as a Must See. Good storyline, they really did a great job weaving this story into the graduate, quite impressive.

The Out-Laws   (2023)   {Action, Crime, Comedy}  [8]
An action packed heist comedy about an about-to-be wed bank manager who suspects his future in-laws are notorious outlaws. Funny, produced by Adam Sandler, starring Adam Devine and Pierce Brosnan. Must see, great storyline!

Obliterated - 8 episodes   (2023)   {Action, Thriller}  [7]
A special forces team thwarts a deadly plot against Las Vegas as they stop an arms dealer group from selling a stolen nuke to terrorists. They decided to have a kick ass party (60k worth on the US Govt.) and not only is their plenty of booze, but plenty of drugs. Like "The Hangover" meets "Mission Impossible", their mission isn't over as they have to venture out in the middle of the night High AF to finish it. Funny, action, nudity, a sh!t show at times, and one cluster after another. Excellent storyline, you'll love the characters and I watched it twice thru. MUST SEE!!!

Night Court - 3 seasons   (2024)   {Comedy}  [3]
Melissa Rauch does an ok job in this reboot of the classic TV show "Night Court", her dad in the show being the previous judge. The jokes haven't changed, John Larquette does ok. It's a thumbs sideways for me, it is just lacking storyline and jokes are cheesy and forced. A little disappointing, but still a nice hangover day binge if you're nodding off, there are cute parts, but the humor is mostly the same.

The Bucket List   (2007)   {Comedy, Drama, Adventure}  [8]
Two older men find out they have last stage cancer and forced into the same hospital room due to policy one of the men (owner of hospital) put in place with no exceptions. After a bit of time, they become friends and decide to venture the world via a bucket list. Becoming friends and touring the world has it's pains and pleasures. They grow even in their old change and the trip becomes a life changing event for both, even though they have little time left. Jack Nicolson and Morgan Freeman do an excellent job in this lovely comedy/adventure/drama. Must See! Have some tissues handy, it's like a chick flick for guys and girls alike.

Mike and Dave need wedding dates   (2016)   {Comedy}  [7]
Zac Efron and Adam DeVine are brothers that cause issues at every family / friend event. The parent’s demand they get dates (Aubrey Plaza and Anna Kendrick) for the sister’s wedding so they will stay out of trouble. Two trouble causing irresponsible girls force their way into the roles for the free Hawaiian vacation. This was very funny, I highly suggest it. I actually scream laughed a few times, must see.

The Lost Husband   (2020)   {Romance, Drama}  [8]
I woman takes her children to stay at her aunt's goat farm after the husband death a year before and a disagreement with her mother. Still plagued with his death, she is just trying to deal with reality and learn how to goat farm to help the aunt. This was a good flick, wasn't your typical rom/drama.

License to Wed   (2007)   {RomCom, Comedy}  [8]
Robin Williams stars at a kooky preacher giving a couple a three month unorthodox marriage prep course in only 3 weeks. It was cute, must see. The robot babies were creepy AF.

The Hustle   (2019)   {Comedy, Crime}  [6]
Basically it is a reboot of "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels". Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway star as 2 con artists, stealing money from rich marks. It was cute and comedic, I would suggest it. Rebel is always goofy and Anne is so dang beautiful. There are some funny pranks as they go back and forth as there isn’t room in the city for 2 con artists.

Focus   (2015)   {Crime, Thriller}  [8]
Con artist Will Smith trains Margot Robbie in the fine are of thievery. I liked this movie, but I don't care for the con artist aspect. Good action flick will have you on the edge of your seat and loved the storyline, also never trust a con artist, they lie… a lot.

Replicas   (2018)   {SciFi, Thriller}  [8]
A genius man (Keanu Reeves) has almost invented a way to transfer human conscience to a neuro-net. Before he can finish his work, a tragic accident happens to his family and he has to make some hard decisions that will drastically affect their future, pushing his sanity to the edge and breaking a bunch of federal laws.

If I had legs I'd kick you   (2025)   {Comedy, Drama}  [4]
A mother on the brink of sanity, lacking sleep, dealing with an absent husband, has plumbing issues causing her to live out of a motel till they work is fixed. Her daughter needing constant care as she is on a feeding tube, she juggles her career as a therapist. You never really see the daughter, or the husband till the end. This has a very artsy feel to it and the ending leaves you empty. It's a thumbs down for me, I didn't care for the storyline and it just wasn't for me. They never explain the lights (fire flies) she constantly sees, I just think this was a piece of shit. I think they were trying to show she was having mental trauma and seeing things, but they never really explain it. Save yourself 2 hours, don't watch it.

Zootopia 2   (2025)   {Animation, Comedy}  [8]
Hops and Wilde back at it again both rookie cops take on another case to save Zootopia. Cute flick, great for kids, they make a good duo. Make sure to see #1 first, it is important to understand the characters.

Sarah's Oil   (2025)   {Drama, Historic}  [8]
Based on a true story, early 1900's an 11 year old girl is given 160 acres of land by US government for slavery reparations. She has a feeling that her land is an oil field and works with a local townsfolk to pursue drilling it, add in racism and 1900s drama... very good story, worth the view.

Good Boy   (2025)   {Drama, Horror, SciFi}  [7]
An artistic flick about a guy living in woods with health issues and his best friend dog, whom protects him from evil spirits. Cute dog, and I loved how they never show the guy face, well done little flick worth the view. The storyline isn't that great, this is more of an artsy flick, but how well they got the dog to act was quite incredible. The director really captured the dogs “feelings”. I’m not a great fan of artsy films, but this was worth it, just seeing how well the dog acted and how they captured moments. I just wish they would have worked more on the storyline, it would have been a better flick.

Babylon   (2022)   {Comedy, Drama}  [9]
Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt give a stunning performance in this film about the stories/lives of a a few individuals in film making industry in the roaring 20's. It is 3 hours, but worth it, this flick has a great storyline, must see. This especially hits hard right now as I’m starting to take on a film making hobby.

The Island   (2005)   {SciFi, Action}  [9]
In an odd utopian/dystopian living arrangement, many people are kept underground living very structured and orderly lives. Scarlett Johansson and Ewan McGregor do a great job starring in this action adventure about people kept from the truth, controlled like cattle, from their diets to their promicuity and jobs, all with the promise of them winning a lottery to the Island. The storyline we see unfolds slowly and elegantly. Excellent movie, a MUST SEE, iI've seen it twice.

Absolutely Anything   (2015)   {Comedy, SciFi}  [9]
A English man (Simon Pegg) is given god like powers by Aliens in this goofy comedy. One problem with the powers, if you're not specific about what you want, you likely won't get it right (like the Monkey Paw). Kate Beckinsale plays his downstairs neighbor, whom he has a crush on, including Robin Williams who voices his dog. It is non-stop comedy gold, one fiasco after another, I loved this movie, watched it twice. Good story line, goofy and just brilliant. MUST SEE.

Star Fleet Academy   (2026)   {SciFi, Drama}  [6]
Prime offered 1 episode then want's to force you into buying paramount+ to see more (bastards). I think star trek has went downhill since Discovery, they are doing too much advanced tech that is just sort of unbelievable with proto-matter and transporting everywhere. Holly Hunter does a good job playing captain, but she sits in the chair funny and unprofessional. The premise and storyline aren't bad, I think they jumped in to the story too fast. I wouldn't mind seeing more, it's not bad, but you have to just go along with the new tech and weird captain’s chair sitting and the somewhat unbelievable premises.

Play Date   (2025)   {Comedy, Thriller}  [8]
a recently unemployed Brian (Kevin James) who becomes a stay at home dad, arranges a play date with Jeff (Alan Ritchson), after they meet the perfect dad-son combo in the park, perfect football throws, wrestling, tough cookies, or so it seems. This was a cute act-com movie, worth the view, some seriously funny scenes.

Crossroads   (2002)   {Comedy, Romance, Coming of Age}  [7]
Just graduating high school, old childhood friends Britney Spears, Taryn Manning and Zoe Saldana jump in the car on a road trip to do a music audition in LA and go on one last road trip before they start adult hood, based on a pact take made years before. Girls want to have fun and road trip drama, all make this a nice coming of age show, as the girls rekindle their friendships on the road.

Into The Woods   (2014)   {Musical, Drama, Fantasy}  [7]
Meryl Streep as a witch, Anna Kendrick, Emily Blut and Chris Pine to name a few actors in this flick. Take most all the children's stories from your childhood and mash them together into one big story musical. I personally don't like musicals, but I wanted to see how the story turned out, not bad. I wouldn't say it was great, but they did a good job sewing all the stories together into 1 musical, and the singing was quite impressive if you're into musicals.

Animal Control - 3 seasons   (2023)   {Sitcom, Binge}  [10]
Sitcom / rom-com like The Office, only it takes place at an animal control facility where dog catchers go out and trap and contain rogue and lost animals of all types. Quite entertaining and funny, i like the story and the main character sarcasm is quite thick. This is a great hangover binge I could watch again and again.

Free Bert - 6 episodes   (2026)   {Sitcom, Binge}  [7]
Burt Kreischer playing himself moves his family to a new town, and a new expensive school, only to run into snobby parents and bully children. For the family's sake, he don's a nice shirt and plays the rich snobby game. It's a cute sitcom I've watched twice thru. Fairly good story line but I think the final ending sort of lacked a vision, my 2 cents. If you like Burt, you'll like this, lots of cute parts and situations that are laugh out loud.

Molly's Game   (2017)   {Crime, Thriller}  [7]
Based on a true story, a failed Olympic class skier has an accident that ruins her career, a few years’ later gets into running underground high stakes poker games that gets the attention of the FBI. She ups the stakes and it ups the drama. Loved this movie!

Find Me Falling   (2024)   {RomCom}  [9]

In getting acquainted with his new surroundings, he meets an interesting grandmother whom owns the local grocery store, a quirky delivery girl grand daughter and a lost love from years ago. He just wants to be left along, but people keep stopping by. I absolutely loved this movie, Harry does a great job portraying John, and you'll fall in love with the quirky delivery girl whom also is a singer and a lighter thief. MUST SEE.

Only The Brave   (2017)   {Drama, Thriller}  [7]
The Granite mountain hotshots are a group of men training to be an elite fire team, based on a true story. It's good, but I won't give away details. I kinda fell asleep thru parts of it

Black Snake Moan   (2006)   {Drama, Thriller}  [10]
Christina Ricci is a small southern town rebal, into drugs and alcohol, and when her man (Justin timberlake) leaves town, the urges get unbearable and she parties it up, sleeping with other men. One night she gets beat up by a group of guys and left for dead on the street. Along comes Samual L Jackson, an old bluesman broken by his break up with his lady, a black man in a wife beater takes her in, chaining her to the radiator. She eventually warms up to his fatherly help, something she didn't get from her parents from a broken abused home. I loved this movie, actors played it well, you feel like you are in that small down., very good storyline and you get to see Christina's boobs, always a plus for Bret reviews! MUST SEE!!!

In Time   (2011)   {SciFi, Thriller}  [11]
Justin Timberlake plays a man trying to make a difference in a sci-fi world where there is no currency, time is what is valued. You are born with a digital clock on your arm, when you turn 25, you stop aging, and the clock starts counting down. You must do whatever it takes to earn more time, because once you hit zero, you die. People around you are living on days or hours. This hits so hard on how people have so much money vs people living pay check to pay check in slums. "Logan's Run" meets "Hunger Games". This is one of the best Sci-Fi movies I have seen in a while. You will gasp for air as people run their counts down to minutes or seconds. You can transfer time credits between people instead of exchanging money. You MUST SEE this movie. Justin does an incredible performance along with this mother (Olivia Wilde) and friend (Johnny Galecki)

Roofman   (2025)   {Comedy, Drama}  [8]
Jeff (Channing Tatum) is a vet down on his luck, to provide for his family he starts to rob businesses by going thru the roof. He's smart, he see's things other people don't, but doesn't have the depth of field to see long term effects/consequences of his actions, he also has too big of a heart. He gets caught, put in prison and he eventually escapes and starts a life with another family after his current family disowns him. Very cute film, worth the watch. It actually wasn't what I expected, but that is in a good way. Great storyline and it's based on a TRUE story, this shit really happened, and you must watch the credits, they have interviews of the real people in the real events of this story. I would say a Must See!!

The Rip   (2026)   {Crime, Thriller}  [9]
Matt Damon and Ben Aflack are police that investigate a potential stash house, typically some money and drugs, they end up finding more than they bargained for. Must see! A very good mystery cop show, lies and deceit, keeps you guessing the whole time, great storyline and well done.

The Northman   (2022)   {Action, Thriller}  [3]
A young Viking prince watches his king father murdered by his brother and makes a pact to avenge his death. He escapes and as a grown up, becomes a slave to hunt down his uncle and free his mother. This is a thumbs down for me, storyline lacking, too much torcher and violence. A very tragic story about a man's quest for revenge. You do get to see Anna Joy Taylor's butt, very nice... past that, I didn't care for it, I almost shut it off a few times. IMO, Save yourself 2 hours, google Anna Joy's butt.

People We Meet on Vacation   (2026)   {RomCom}  [7]
An obscure rom-com about 2 polar opposite people that become best friends over the years and once a year go on vacation together. It was cute, not like your typical romcom. Worth watching!

Movie 43   (2013)   {Sketch Comedy}  [10]
Crazy funny movie, like SNL only not live, 10-15 min skits with an all star cast. Emma Stone, Chris Pratt, Johnny Knoxville, Kate Winslet, Chloe Grace Moretz, Hugh Jackman, Anna Faris, and Halle Berry to name a few. I won't give anything away, just make sure no kiddos around, as this rated R comedy gem will have you laughing and gasping out loud. MUST SEE, this is funny as hell.

Wonder   (2017)   {Family, Drama}  [11]
A young boy with a facial deformity has to tackle school for the first time after being home schooled his entire life. Attempting to make friends, sitting at the lunch table alone, the crulty of children / bullies, and general exclusion will challenge this already traumatized boy. Auggie is a smart kid, big into science and one day hopes to be an astronaut. Donning an astronaut helmet the first few days, he endures the woes of his first taste of Elementary School. Julia Roberts does an excellent job in portraying his mother, worthy of an Emmy, her facial expressions are all you need, she IS his mother in my book, that convincing. What I love about this story is they don't only focus on Auggie, the also focus on friends, family and a loving but neglected sister whom always had to take a back seat in her entire life once Auggie was born, always putting on a happy face because her love for her brother and family. Absolutely loved this movie, it's excellent storyline a MUST SEE. I've watched it twice already and I'm sure a few more times in the next few years. A feel good drama with cheers and tears, I think you'll love Auggie also.

The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep   (2025)   {Animation, Action}  [9]
If you like the Witcher series, this is a great single animation movie, based on the Sea, Mermaids and a classic monster tale in the Witcher world. This was done really good, very good storyline, betrayal, magic and evil on the high seas.

Wine Country   (2019)   {Comedy, Drama}  [7]
A handful of gals from SNL are celebrating a friend's 50th bday. They head to Nappa valley and hit wineries and do a varity of activities. 6 women in 1 villa, guaranteed arguments, satiric and sassy discussions, behind back talking and plenty of drama. Cute movie, the girls did a good job, the comedy is a like a dry white wine, a little dry but tasty. Must see if you love the SNL gals Amy, Rachel, Tina, Maya and Ana. I highly suggest opening a bottle of wine and enjoy.

Sleeping With Other People   (2015)   {RomCom}  [7]
A romcom about Jake (Jason Sudeikis) and Lainey (Alison Brie), both with different sex addictions, begin to hang out and become good friends, despite mutual attraction. They first met 12+ years prior in college, lose their virginity to each other, then reconnect years later as adults. Navigating the dating other people spouses, Jake just can't seem to meet the right one, and Lainey is terribly in lust with a dooshbag cheating doctor whom she can't seem to resist. I liked this flick, I love Jason in movies, worth the watch. The end really throws you for a loop, was not expecting that.

The Long Game   (2023)   {Sports, Drama}  [9]
The first ever all young Mexican-American high school golf team is formed in 1950s when an ex-military Mexican American man want to teach the young men, whom are caddies at a Texas golf course, but no allowed to golf there, to be respected golfers and be allowed to golf in public, without racism, bigotry or hatred. He trains them on their own homemade course, in the wee hours of the night, and helps this rag tag group of angry young men, that they matter and if they work hard, they will be respected. Loved this movie, had the feel of Stand By Me, based on a true story of real events.

RV   (2006)   {Comedy, Drama}  [8]
Robin Williams books and RV trip over the top of a Hawaiian trip due to his jerk boss making him reschedule for an important meeting. Two birds, one stone, turn a client meeting into a trip via RV to Colorado where the meeting is. It's Robin Williams, it's going to be funny, and there are non-stop laughs as he tries to navigate the open road and his troubled son and daughter on this family road trip.

Bob Marley: One Love   (2024)   {Music, Drama}  [6]
This was an interesting story, didn't know some of this stuff about Marley. I found the story was kinda all over, but if that's his life ok. I was hard to understand the people with all the Jamaican accents. I probably only understood about 1/2 of the show. I appreciate realism, but not when 1/2 the story was lost in translation. It is a thumbs down for me, it just wasn't well put together.

A Tourist's Guide to Love   (2023)   {RomCom}  [7]
After a break up, (Rachael Leigh Cook) stars as a tour exec and her company sent her to Vietnam to review a tourist company they want to acquire. The guide isn't your traditional tour guide and takes them to things they won't see on any other tours. Classic rom com, cute.

Turbo   (2013)   {Animation, Action}  [8]
A snail that has passion for car racing, shunned from snail friends, ends up with super speed powers after an accident. Very cute flick, worth the watch with the kiddo's.

Perfect Pitch   (2012)   {Music, Comedy, Romance}  [6]
Like Glee meets Spinal Tap. The storyline is dry and holey as Swiss dog sh!t, the only really good thing about the movie is the singing/harmonizing segments and Anna Kendrick doing a cup solo and clap ditty for an audition. The idea of this story was sound, but the story writers either completely sh!t the bed, or they purposely tried to write a piece of crap dry humor comedy. IMO, it failed in many storyline plots and just kinda sucked eggs. Rebel Wilson just isn't that funny in this POS, and it completely bombed as a rom com. The girl doing snow angels in puke was kinda funny, past that it's a box office turd, unrealistic and lacking. So, fast forward to the singing parts... or better yet, just google the Anna Kendrick cup audition, will save you over an hour of bullsh!t. Thumbs down. Now I need to watch #2 and see if it sucks even worse.

Perfect Pitch 2   (2015)   {Music, Comedy, Romance}  [7]
Still campy, this was a lot better than 1, a more solid story, lots of glee type singing.

Last Christmas   (2019)   {RomCom}  [8]
The Queen of Dragons (Emilia Clarke) stars in this rom com about a failure of a daughter, working in a novelty Christmas shop, she hates her life, her boss, her job and seems to fail at just about everything. A Cynical Broadway wanna be, fails to get a part she had her heart set on... until one day, she meets a mystery man that convinces her to "look up" and see the world differently, which changes her perspective and life. She randomly runs into him in town and they develop a friendship. This is one of the best rom com style stories I've seen in a while. There is quite a twist and once you get it, you'll tear and you'll cheer. A Must See!!

Becky   (2020)   {Thriller, Action}  [8]
Escaped prisoners hold a family hostage while they look for a mysterious key in the house, but it is not to be found. A troubled teen girl hiding in the woods, has the key, thwarts their plans, and takes revenge. I loved it. it's a little quirky but worth the watch. I actually watched this after the sequel, but still entertaining. Seeing the King of Queens as a Nazi bad guy is WEIRD, but well played.

The Wrath of Becky   (2023)   {Thriller, Action}  [8]
Becky is back, this time some bad "patriots" are planning an assassination and they pissed off the wrong Girl while she's working in a diner. They pissed off Becky when they stole her dog. Better than the original Becky!!! Seeing Stiffler as a bad guy is WEIRD, but well played and creepy.

Landman - 2 Seasons   (2025)   {Drama}  [8]
Billy Bob Thornton does a great job as an Oil company "Landman", whom makes deals for oil land, get contracts signed, and maintains the peace between locals, oil company workers and lawyers, while the land is being drilled for oil. This is a very intense drama and a very good storyline. There is some gratuitous nude scenes at times, which is a plus for me. It's a shit show in the oil fields (The patch) in Texas, where the oil companies try to run bare minimum maintaining the status quote between people's lives and drug cartel in the area. Asses get kicked, rigs blow up, people die, and plenty of hot girls in bikini's running around. If you like shit show drama's similar to Shameless, this is for you, but in my opinion, it's just one thing after another and continued bad decisions and poor judgement, which makes it a compelling binge to watch, but also "come on man".

Just Go With It   (2011)   {RomCom}  [8]
Adam Sandler is a bachelor plastic surgeon, and gets with a lot of women over the years because he pretends to be married and that's method of attracting the one night stands. Two dim wit losers kidnap a pizza delivery boy to rob a bank. Funny action com, loved the story line, worth the watch.

You People   (2023)   {RomCom, Drama}  [4]
A black women and white man get together and have to deal with interracial family drama. I didn't care for it, didn't like the... story, videography, it kinda was all over the board, crappy music, and not very believable storyline. It's a thumbs down for me. Oh yeah, starring Eddie Murphy probably his worst role, and Jonah Hill (whom I don't like his comedy - very dry).

Back in Action   (2025)   {Action, Comedy}  [8]

Happiness for Beginners   (2023)   {RomCom}  [8]
A newly divorced woman decides to join a multi-day wilderness hike for some new experiences. It's a heartwarming story, unlike most where there is a evil person taking over the world, this is human against nature and themselves sweet show. I liked it, very easy watch and a cute rom com, not really a Hallmark at all. I would highly suggest this for when you just don't want to see another action movie, very chill cute flick.

Slumberland   (2022)   {Fantasy, Drama, Thriller}  [10]
Jason Momoa stars as a crazy character in a dream world of Slumberland. A young girl discovers a map that leads her there, hoping to see her late father once again. Jason does a great job portraying "Flip". I loved this movie, it's crazy, fun, deep and GREAT storyline. Marlow Barkley does an excellent job portraying the young girl character "Nemo" (not the fish).

Fallout   (2024)   {Action, Thriller}  [8]
In a post-nuclear wasteland, an underground "vault dweller" leaves her innocent and safe home to search for her kidnapped father, meeting various characters and challenges along the way. I liked it, but the story is a little overboard and weird, I guess it's based on a video game. It's a very deep story and easy to get sucked in, like Jays potato chips. You want to eat the whole bag.

Jupiter Ascending   (2015)   {SciFi, Thriller, Action}  [10]
An unlucky Chicago house cleaner Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) discovers she's the genetic reincarnation of a deceased intergalactic queen, and the powers that be will stop at nothing to get to her. An unpopular guy with no friends is about to marry a hot girl of his dreams (Kaley Cuoco) and needs some instant friends to stand up in wedding. Cute flick, worth the watch, but it's kinda goofy/camping, some things are a stretch for imagination, but still a pleasant storyline.

The Hateful Eight   (2015)   {Action, Thriller}  [10]
An old west Quentin Tarintio movie, a law man and a bounty hunter make their way on a horse carriage, threw the winter snow, carrying a fugitive and some bounties. I won't give away anymore, it's a very interesting story how everything unfolds. Loved it, I love all QT's movies, a must see.

A program created by Dillingers will be the new master control and be one of the best AI's and defenders around. Against the clock, the two companies strive to find the hidden code that will allow items to be transferred from grid to reality permanently as a bug in the code only allows items to exist 29 min. Being a Super TRON fan, there were plenty of things I didn't like, but in general it was a good story and visual effect awesome. Seen it 3 times, I would totally watch this again a few times. Liked the new Light staffs, didn't like the triangle identity discs.

Strays   (2023)   {Comedy, Adventure}  [7]
Rated R, this is not a kid's movie. An abandoned stray works with other strays to find his lost master. Plenty of sass and adult topics and material from the talking dogs, it's like Pets meets Sausage Party.

Merv   (2025)   {RomCom}  [6]
After a break up, a couples dog is diagnosed with depression and they work on things with shared visitation to help doggie downers. cute flick.

SAM   (2019)   {RomCom}  [6]
A sexist pig of a man turns into a women overnight after a drunken bachelor party bender. The rest of the days are filled with Sam trying to navigate his new girlhood. This isn't bad, but the story is kind of weak, seems/feels like a B rated movie. There were a few things I would have added and changed. I don't think the writers captured what really would happen if a guy became a girl overnight, but alas an interesting flick, kind of slow at times.

I Am Sam   (2001)   {Drama}  [10]
Sean Penn does an excellent job playing a special needs man (rated age 8), he knocks up a girl, she leaves him with the daughter and he has to raise her. When the girl (Dakota Fanning) is old enough that she's more mature/smarter then her father, the courts get involved and try to take a little girl away. This is a great storyline, a MUST SEE.

Ricky Stanicky   (2024)   {Comedy, Fantasy}  [9]
John Cena and Zack Effron star in this crazy comedy about 3 kids that make up a friend so that friend can take blame of all their bad antics. Grown up, they still use Ricky as a way to get out of plans or problems. This snowballs when they have to actually present a real person, so they hire an actor to play the part and it gets really good. Must See!

Brightburn   (2019)   {Horror, Fantasy}  [9]
What if superman wasn't good? In this flick, a boy with an origin story similar to Clark Kent has super powers is kind of evil. It's creepy and worth a view.

The Ugly Truth   (2009)   {RomCom}  [8]
A news women (Katherine Heigl) is very frustrated when her TV station hires a pompous womanizer man that has an opinionated TV show on a cable channel. As a peace offering, he offers to coach her on attracting men and it works out well. This was cute, worth the watch.

The Fundamentals of Caring   (2016)   {Adventure, Drama, Comedy}  [10]
A man (Paul Rudd) with little to no experience, takes a job as a caretaker for a teen with MD while his mothers is at work. The bored prankster boy spends his days in front of the TV, eating waffles, and playing pranks on his caretaker, so the man convinces him and his mother to take a road trip. Bound to his wheelchair, never been farther than an hour from home, they plan to see some of the corny attractions in various state on a week long journey crossing many states. A must see. This is a feel good movie, very well done, the storyline is just beautiful. Paul Rudd style humor, it's subtle and cute, sometimes laugh out loud. Seline Gomez stars as the hitchhiker, and she's plays it well. I actually rerated this 1 point higher after watching 4 times. This so could have been a successful series and dramedy.

Jackass 4.5   (2022)   {Action, Comedy}  [9]
Outtakes from Jackass Forever, worth the watch if you love Jackass like I do.

The Package   (2018)   {Comedy, Adventure}  [9]
Five teen friends go on a camping trip and one of guys loses something and it's a race to reunite the man with his package. Campy, goofy and cute, worth a watch, but some of the antics were off the wall crazy.

The Mitchells vs The Machines   (2021)   {Animation, Thriller}  [8]
A cute kids film about a family trying to save the human race from a robot uprising. I found this cute, a good family night movie with the kids.

Honest Thief   (2020)   {Action, Thriller}  [7]
After 10 years of robbing banks, and easily getting away with them, a thief (Liam Neeson) meets a women and decides to come clean, only that was the biggest mistake he could have made.

Crazy Rich Asians   (2018)   {Comedy, Drama}  [7]
A young Asian girl is unknowingly dating an extremely rich man, as a trip to Singapore to meet his family can only be full of drama as she learns about his quirky family and friends.

Senior Year   (2022)   {Comedy}  [6]
Rebel Wilson stars as an unpopular teen girl striving to be popular and become prom queen. During a cheerleading move, she hits her head and is in a coma for 20 years. When she wakes up, in her mind she's still 17 and wants to go back to school to finish out her senior year and become prom queen.

K-PAX   (2001)   {SciFi, Mystery}  [10]
"Prot" (Kevin Spacy) shows up claiming to be an alien from K-PAX, a planet 1000 light years away and is institutionalized for mental review. During his stay, he gives other patients hope as a doctor (Jeff Bridges) tries to figure out who he really is and why he has this outrageous delusion of a story. I loved this movie, a must see. You decide if he's really from KPAX or not.

Love Hard   (2021)   {RomCom}  [9]
An unlucky in love journalist is famous for her "worst date stories" column, until she meets the perfect man online whom lives across the country. She decides to visit him for Xmas, showing up unexpectedly only to find out he's been cat fishing her with a photo of a different guy. Very cute rom com, worth the view.

Isn't It Romantic   (2019)   {RomCom}  [7]
Rebel Wilson stars as an unpopular girl whom hits her head one day and wakes up in a rom com world, where everything is perfect and cliché. Funny, cute, worth the watch.

The Rats: A Witcher Tale   (2025)   {Action, Adventure}  [6]
Dolph Lundgren as The Witcher... sorry, he's old and just not good for the part. I really didn't care for the story, I don't like stories about thieves and crooks. The flick did have the Witcher feel, really felt in the moment, but I didn't care for the story, the characters or Dolph. It is a thumbs down for me.

Halo - 2 seasons   (2022)   {Action, Adventure}  [7]
I am not familiar with the video game so not sure how accurate this is. Basically it's a futuristic sci-fi series about genetically engineered cyber-tech troopers called Spartans that help protect humanity. An alien federation called the Covenant consisting of multiple aliens are hell-bent on destroying humanity and taking the artifacts that create the "Halo". It's worth a watch, but I feel this is just a another Netflix mystery series keeping you in the dark about what the Halo actually is, giving you hints and breadcrumbs, it's a forced suspense and keeps you bingeing to figure out what the Halo actually is. I lost interest in season 2, it just keeps you on the edge of knowing the answers, mystery bait.

The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure   (2022)   {Action, Adventure}  [7]
If you liked Pirates of the Caribbean, you might like this Korean pirate movie. It's goofy and fun, and still full of adventure, fighting, swords, pirates and treasure on the high seas. A group of bandits merge together with a group of pirates to find the ultimate lost treasure. Like Star Trek Voyager meets Pirates of the Caribbean, only Korean. I found the storyline fairly decent, a little campy at times, but the lead actors are quite charismatic. If you love old Karate films, you'll love "The Pirates".

The Brothers Grimsby   (2016)   {Action, Thriller}  [8]
Two long lost orphan brothers meet up, one a MI6 agent/spy/assassin, the other a screw up loser whom loves beer, football, and his family. The title and the advertisement wasn't a seller, but damn Sasha Baron Cohen (of Borat) made this goofy f*cker that had me saying "OMG", "Jesus" multiple times not to mention, puke in my mouth, and peed a little. Also starring Rebel Wilson and Mark Strong, adding the additional comedy. If you thought the Rhino scene in Ace Ventura 2 was funny, you MUST watch this flick. This is not for kids and it's a campy, goofy, perverted romp. If you don't say WTF a few times, you may not have a pulse. A Must See. If you like Borat, Family Guy or South Park a little, then it will be a hit for you... maybe, or not, either way, f*cking watch it.

The Woman in Cabin 10   (2025)   {Mystery, Thriller}  [9]
A popular journalist (Kira Knightly) is invited for a few day cruise with a rich group of people for one last charity voyage in light the organizers wife is dying of cancer. Things take a turn with she witnesses a person overboard in the middle of the night, and the mystery begins. This was pretty good, I almost had it figured out, but I went a few different ways. It's a good flick if you like suspense and mystery flicks. Worth the watch and will take you on a mind bending mystery!

NOS4A2 - 2 seasons   (2019)   {Horror, Mystery}  [9]
Follows Victoria "Vic" McQueen, a young artist from a dysfunctional family, with the magic ability to find lost things, who discovers she can also track the supernatural and immortal Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto). Manx abducts children, calling himself father Christmas, feeds on their souls to gain his youth, then takes them to a twisted Christmasland in his mind where they can live out every day like it's Christmas, no rules, no parents. If you liked Stranger Things, you'll like this, I was stuck on my couch for 2 days bingeing this little ditty. Horror, Super natural, mind bending, mind binging.

Jay Kelly   (2025)   {Comedy, Drama}  [5]
Famous movie star Jay Kelly (George Clooney) and his devoted manager Ron (Adam Sandler), embark on an unexpectedly profound journey through Europe. Along the way, both men confront the choices they've made, relationships with loved ones, and the legacies they'll leave behind. I fell asleep watching this, I didn't care for the storyline. The actors did a wonderful job, but the story wasn't there for me, felt kinda empty, like an AI wrote the script. Just didn't to have interesting or climatic scenarios. Just a famous guy making a trek to a destination and the happenings on the way there. Like a crappy Stand By Me, with old people.

Bad Teacher   (2011)   {Comedy, Drama}  [8]
Cameron Diaz plays Elizabeth a hot, foul-mouthed, boozy woman with a chip on her shoulder, that can't wait to marry a rich man and quit her job, but she has to rethink her plans when her sugar daddy dumps her when he realizes he's just money pot. Then Scott Delacorte (Justin Timberlake), a substitute teacher who's cute and rich, arrives. Elizabeth can't wait to sink her teeth into a new meal ticket, but she faces stiff competition from Amy (Lucy Punch), a popular and perky colleague. This is a must see, I found it quite funny.

Caught Stealing   (2025)   {Action, Thriller}  [7]
Hank (Austin Butler) works as a bartender in a big city, after a car accident ruins his plans to become a major league baseball player. His punk ruffian neighbor Russ leaves his cat with Hang and bolts town to see his dying father. Needless to say, some bad guys come knocking and Hank is brought into a shit storm of Russian mob drama. I'm not a big fan of mob death drama's, but it was a good flick, you really feel like you're there with them. Worth the watch if you like that kind of film, action, mobish, and plenty of bullets flying.

Dog   (2022)   {Comedy, Adventure}  [8]
Inactive Army Ranger Briggs (Channing Tatum) is entrusted to run an off the books mission to bring his dead partners Ranger Dog to the soldier's funeral on time, part of the deal gets him back into the Army service after a head trauma that leaves him inactive until further notice. One problem, the dog and he both have PTSD and the dog is having behavior issues and must remained muzzled and caged the entire trip for everyone safety. This flick wasn't what I expected, but it sure was cute and worth watching. Comedy, drama, tragedy, and light hearted.

Aqua Man and the Lost Kingdom   (2023)   {Action, Fantasy}  [7]
Who doesn't love Jason Momoa, it's just fun watching him in action flicks. I'm not a big fan of DC, I think their action shots are too fake looking, they could take some lessons from Marvel. Story is fairly good, but a few holes that I feel take away from the genuine story. Manta strikes again, like can't you come up with some other bad guys? Also, does it always have to be about bad guys, why not some sort of meteor strike or earth quake. End result, it's a good flick, the brothers reunite to help save the planet, regardless as cliché it is to say, Jason looks fucking great in that orange scale uniform and bad ass with the Trident. I only ask that if they do a #3, could he lose his arm and have a harpoon added to his costume, the cartoons of the more Naval/Mariner/Pirate looking Aqua man with the harpoon arm is kinda bad ass.

A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood   (2018)   {Drama, History}  [7]
Tom Hanks does a great Mr. Rogers in this flick about an asshole journalist that has to do a story and gets inspired by Fred Rogers kindness. I absolutely loved seeing Mr. Rogers again, brought back all the times PBS was on and me in front of the TV living with parents as a child. As lame as that may sound to some, it was comforting to watch the show, how gentle and caring Fred was. And here we go... What disappointed me about this flick is it wasn't a show about Mr. Rogers, it was about a guy with family issues with a dysfunctional relationship with father. This took away from the whole reason I watched the show, to see a movie about Fred Rogers. Still a good flick, worth the watch, but don't be too disappointed that Fred wasn't the star of this story.

About My Father   (2023)   {Comedy, Drama}  [8]
An elder Italian father (Robert Dinero) wants to meet his son's rich family before he pops the question. Clash of culture makes this a cute comedy, worth the watch.

We're the Millers   (2013)   {Comedy, Thriller, Crime}  [10]
Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis star in this cute comedy about a drug dealer that needed to make some some lost money by driving to Mexico and back with a loaded RV full of weed. The single drug dealer pays a stripper to be his wife, a homeless girl to be daughter and neighborhood kid to play son, as they drive their family RV to Mexico and back, with hilarity all the way down and back. Total laugh house, I recommend this for when you need a gut busting laugh.

FLOW   (2024)   {Adventure, Fantasy}  [11]
This is a great cerebral surreal animation about a cat that is running away from a flood in unique landscape. As the cat encounters other animals, the water continues to rise and flood the land, there are conflicts and obstructions they must endure during this perilous journey to stay alive. There are no voices or spoken word, just animals in a human less world, it's really a great mental floss for the brain, entertaining and quite lovely, beautiful music and just an incredible braingasm. I found it hypnotic, it's won a golden globe, and I would love to see more flicks like this, I highly recommend it, especially for the family. I also might recommend trying a gummy on your second watch of it.

Grace and Frankie Season 1 of 7   (2025)   {Sitcom, Binge}  [8]
Two elder women deal with their husbands breaking the news that they want a divorce because the two men that own a business together are in love. Both women devastated, we watch as they each go thru their own personal turmoil as the two men move in together and the two women try to live together a shared beach house. Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda to a great job portraying the women. It's like watching a model train wreck, you just can't look away. Fun and funny, it's a must see for me, and addictive binge.

Indiana Jones: Dial of Destiny   (2023)   {Action, Thrller}  [7]
Indy and friends try to find the Dial of Archimedes. I wasn't actually going to watch it, but glad I did. Indy films are all the same, Nazi shootout, punching, chasing, and booby traps. This film has plenty of chase scenes, that's for sure. I really did end up liking the last 1/2 of the movie, the start was just the same old stuff, but they had to setup the storyline. Fairly decent storyline, but it's just another Indy film, worth the watch.

Wonka   (2023)   {Musical, Fantasy}  [3]
A magician and chocolate maker comes to town to sell the best chocolate in the world, only to be thwarted by cops and local candy makers. First of all I must preface this with the fact I'm not a musical fan, I also am not a fan of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, never did like it, I thought it was kinda stupid. So going in, this wasn't going to be good. I can't deny that Timothée Chalamet (of DUNE) put on a good performance. To be honest, I was tired and fell asleep a few times. The story was cliché, and a bit predictable, and not overly a great musical, none of the songs really grabbed you. The videography and sets were great, but the story lacked in my opinion. I can't say it was bad per se, but it just wasn't for me.

A Man On The Inside Season 1   (2024)   {Sitcom, Binge}  [10]
Ted Danz stars in this warm hearted show about a retired man that gets a job assisting a private eye in infiltrating an old folks home to try to solve the rash of thefts, by being a man on the inside. This is brilliant, the comedy is spot on and it's a feel good binge. I highly suggest it, Ted Danz does an excellent performance of a bumbling old man pretending to be a "spy". Must See!

A Man On The Inside Season 2   (2025)   {Sitcom, Binge}  [9]
Ted and the gang are at it again, this time the PI agency is tasked to investigate a local college, he plays a professor and again, he is a man on the inside. Mary Steenburgen joins the cast with all the humor and beyond in this season 2 binge. I absolutely loved it; they knocked it out of the park. Must See!

The Family Holiday   (2007)   {Family, Comedy}  [6]
David Coulier stars as a con man that hires 2 runaway children to pose as his kids to get the family inheritance. It was a cute flick, but I think it could have been better. It almost felt like 80's comedy, the story itself has some mustard, but the end result lacked, but still worth the view.

Oh Hi!   (2025)   {RomCom, Dark}  [7]
During a weekend getaway, a man reveals to a girl he is dating that he dates other people. She keeps him cuffed to the bed and wants to spend 12-24 hours with him hoping to convince him that they should be a couple. What started as a kinky sex session turns into a sort of kidnapping. It's a cute story, worth the watch.

Train Dreams   (2025)   {Drama}  [4]
This is an arty film, a story of a logger life and his workings with the railroad in the early 1900's. It's a very artsy piece, I found left me empty after watching it. Ups, downs, tragic moments, just the life of a man in the early 1900s living in the woods. It was very dry and artsy, I found it hard to stay focused on, the story really leaves one empty, I didn't care for it.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button   (2008)   {Drama, Fantasy, Romance }  [9]
Starring Brad Pitt, a story of a boy born in the early 1900's looking very old as a child, as he grows he ages backwards. He meets daisy in their youth and their lives will intertwined thru-out the years as he gets younger and she grows older. This is a very good drama, well written, good storyline and good direction. A must see, really tugs at the heart strings.

The Sandlot   (1993)   {Comedy, Action, Coming of Age}  [10]
Based on a true story, a coming of age family comedy about a young boy trying to make friends with some neighborhood boys that play baseball in a field, and the growing of boy friendships thru baseball. One of the most notable scenes is when they try to retrieve a signed Babe Ruth ball that was hit over a neighbors fence that has a big dog known as "The Beast". There are many tall tales to go along with the infamous neighborhood dog and all the items that go lost once the Beast has them. I know, how have I not seen this movie till now, but such a good family flick and light hearted, funny, and entertaining, loved the story and I think you will too if your family hasn't seen it yet. It can't hurt to re-watch it, worth a repeat view.

To The Bone   (2017)   {Drama, Comedy, Dark}  [9]
This drama starring Keanu Reeves as a unorthodox doctor, follows Ellen (Lilly Collins), an unruly 20-year-old artist and severely anorexic girl, who spent the better part of her teenage years being shepherded through various recovery programs, only to find herself several pounds lighter every time. This is a good watch, it's very dramatic and could trigger anyone with similar disorders (cutting, eating, etc). You can't help but feel gut wrenched and sympathetic the whole time as these young adults starve and purge themselves to near death, their worst fears are excess calories and not for their very own lives. Lilly's performance was incredible, you couldn't help but feel her turmoil, well played.

Electric State   (2025)   {SciFi, Comedy, Action, Thriller}  [10]
Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown) and Keats (Chris Pratt) star in this futuristic sci-fi, where sentient retro robots are outlawed and banned from cities, being caught with one is illegal. Michelle runs into a robot claiming to be her lost brother and starts a quest to find the real him. In part of her journey, she runs into Keats whom has a robot friend and the quest into Area X begins. Very good story and unique, Millie and Chris to a great job

Blue Beetle   (2023)   {SciFi, Action, Superhero}  [3]
George Lopez and Susan Sarandon star in this less than stellar story about an ancient alien scarab that gives the wearer super powers. Great effects, but in my opinion it lacked a good storyline and acting. Iron man meets Green Lantern meets spider man, only alien, and blue, and beetle, and Latino. It’s a thumbs down for me. The Beetle’s super powers are all over the place (sometimes limitless and powerful, other times limited and dysfunctional). It's just not a good storyline, all over the board and illogical, the writers really scraped this thing together, could use some lessons from the Old Marvel and Stan Lee. I'm actually surprised Susan took the part, it's like a crappy B movie with good effects and Latino roots, which is good to see, but it was not for me. I would rather see a better Latino super hero in Marvel.

Guest House   (2020)   {Comedy, Drama}  [6]
Pauly Shore stars in this rated R comedy about a couple that buys a new house, there is only one catch, there is a free spirit, drug loving squatter living in the guest house in the backyard that refuses to leave. The story line is a bit lacking, sort of typical for Pauly Shore, it has its funny parts, but in general the storyline sort of falls apart. One good thing about this flick, is you get to see Pauly shore again, he's always a treat with his mannerisms and dry comedy, and a good amount of gratuitous nudity, which is always a plus for me. it's a thumbs down, the storyline kills it for me. The story was forced, they should have hired a few writers and worked out some better believable scenarios.

After Life   (2019)   {Comedy, Drama}  [10]
Kudos to Ricky Gervais for the Netflix show "After Life". When i can laugh and cry and still continue to watch British comedy for multiple seasons, well that is something. Great little show about a grieving suicidal widower Tony, lost his wife to cancer recently, goes on his daily interactions with odd townsfolk with a snarky British attitude. I love hearing the British C word, makes me smile. Ricky hits this one out of the park, for anyone that has lost someone; you can relate and feel bad for him. His days are filled with working for a crappy newspaper, hanging with the dog, watching videos of his wife and drinking his life away, unless he decides today that he'll end it quick. This is a goofy, lovely, heartfelt show, I've watched all 3 seasons 3 times thru, it's a comfort binge, great for watching when I'm in a melancholy mood.

Orphan Black   (2013)   {Mystery, Thriller}  [10]
A con artist women (Tatiana maslany of she hulk) sees another women that looks identically like her, throw herself into a subway train committing suicide. Stunned, she quickly steals her identity and her life, things go south from there, finding herself in a plot where clones of her exist and a ruthless corporation keeping secrets. I watched 3 seasons and damn they are great, another 4 to go, but going to put this off till later winter, need a drama break. , even after events unfold, pretty good storyline.

Orphan Black: Echoes   (2023)   {Mystery, Thriller}  [7]
A spin off, where a women (Krysten Ritter of Jessica Jones) wakes up with no memory in a hospital, only to find out she's been 4d printed and has no past. A corporation is after her, endangering her loved ones and disrupting her family. This is a good spin off, but practice up on your sign language as there are no captions for it. This is fairly good story line and events keep unfolding.

Everybody's Fine   (2009)   {Drama}  [7]
Robert De Niro plays an sick/aging widower that is planning a get together of his four children whom he hasn't seen in 9 months since the funeral. The mother/wife kept the kids together, she was the glue and he's not sure how to play that role. The children... Drew Barrymore, Sam Rockwell and Kate Beckensale find excuses and lie about not being able to make it. Determined to see them sooner, he decides to trek across the country, via train and buses to each of the children’s homes, only to be told what he wants to hear, that everything is fine. Very good story line and I loved the direction, kind of artsy, but worth the watch in this feel good drama.

No Sleep 'Til Christmas   (2018)   {RomCom}  [8]
A soon to be wed women (the gorgeous Odette Annabel) suffers from insomnia, she runs into a fellow insomnia, literally. While in the hospital parking lot they both fall asleep having the best sleep they've had in months/years. This is a cute Hallmark story, I really liked it, cute parts, interesting storyline, if you like Hallmarks, this is a must see.

PLANE   (2023)   {Action, Thriller}  [9]
Pilot Brodie Torrance (Gerard Butler) is forced to crash-land a commercial flight on a remote island in the Philippines after a lightning strike disables the plane. They aren't sure where they are, comb’s are out and they landed on an island with no government or rules, if the locals find them, it's not going to be pretty. I liked this film, kind of reminded me of the Tom Hanks movies (where he was a pilot and where he was a boat captain). I would suggest this flick.

Jungle Cruise   (2021)   {Action, Adventure}  [9]
Staring Dwayne Johnson, I would suggest this movie is a combination of Pirates of Caribbean and Indiana Jones, only in the Jungle on a river. It is goofy, has some cute parts, some funny jokes and good action. Fairly decent story, but again, it is like a Disney cookie cutter film, pretty much what I summed up, worth the view with family, but I wouldn't call it a block buster hit. Just a reused mutated story, we've all seen before, but still entertaining.

RIPD   (2013)   {Fantasy, Action, Comedy}  [10]
Veteran lawman from the 1800s, Roy Pulsifer (Jeff Bridges) works for the R.I.P.D., a spiritual police force charged with finding monstrous spirits who are disguised as ordinary people but are trying to avoid their final judgment by hiding out among the living. When his new partner Nick Walker (Ryan Reynolds) also a lawman from 2000's recently passes, he is paired up with Roy to train this new rookie on the job. Due to their sketchy past lives, they need to serve for 100 years and do a good job, or it's down town for them. I loved this movie, Must See! I'm not a big Jeff Bridges fan, but he does an excellent job in this sci-fi action flick.

RIPD 2   (2022)   {Fantasy, Action, Comedy}  [7]
A different resurrected old west sheriff returns to Earth to save humanity from a gateway to hell. Not a good sequel. Different cast, different story, not overly impressed with the storyline. I would have cast it different and changed the story a bit. The primary actor didn't play a good cowboy in my opinion. I love the RIPD concept, but this failed in my book, it's a thumbs down for me. Had it been a standalone story, maybe I would have liked it a tiny bit more, but it's a crap sequel or spinoff.

True Grit   (2010)   {Western, Action, Adventure}  [8]
Marshalls Matt Damon and Jeff Bridges join a young girl Hailee Steinfeld (from Hawkeye series) to hunt down the man that killed her father. Crazy amount of Moxie, this girl has charm, smarts and an unlimited determination to bring the man to justice. This was a good movie, I sometimes question Jeff Bridges acting, but looking past that, it was a fairly good flick, worth the watch. Hailee does a great performance and it's weird seeing matt Damon in cowboy clothing. I'm not a fan of the ending, but it was a fairly good storyline. The old west, unforgiving and brutal, not only nature but humans, scary and true. I would suggest watching, but I wouldn't say it's for kids.

Collateral   (2004)   {Action, Thriller, Crime}  [8]
An LA taxi driver (Jamie Foxx) Max, is about to end his night when sharp-suited Vincent (Tom Cruise) offers him $600 to make five stops. Sounds good until Vincent turns out to be a merciless hit man and each one of those stops involves a hit. The pair are hunted by the police and the FBI, as detectives in this suspense action flick that keeps you on your feet. Good movie, good story, definitely worth the watch!!

Eagle Eye   (2008)   {Action, Thriller}  [9]
This is a Spielberg movie, a must see. A man and women are contacted by phone by an unknown person, they must follow strange orders blindly or her son will terminated. I really liked this story, it's action and suspense, worth the view, great flick.

Joy Ride   (2023)   {Adventure, Comedy}  [9]
An orphan Asian woman books a trip to china to clinch a business deal and to find her birth mother. She brings her best friend and a few friend/guides join the party in this cute "The Hangover" style comedy. After losing their passports, they must go on the road, and there is funny at every step... worth the view. The devil tattoo and chicken scenes had me laughing out loud almost in tears. A must see!

The Book of Eli   (2010)   {Fantasy, Adventure, Action}  [10]
A man (Denzel Washington) is making his way West in this post apocalypse flick. Town after town, he meets bad people trying to scrounge and steal to survive. There is a crazy ending that will have you watch the movie a 2nd time. This is a MUST See. Don't google it, spoilers might ruin it for you. I honestly wasn't going to watch it, looked like another post apocalypse flick, but this one is worth the view, twice.

Frankenstein   (2025)   {Fantasy, Adventure, Action}  [8]
Starring Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein, this adaptation is closer to the book, but not quite. They did focus a lot on the creation of the monster and I loved how they showed 2 perspectives, makes you question who is the monster, the creation or the creator. Victor's expectations outweighed his brilliance in creating, it's more than just animated living body parts sewn together, a tragic journey that both creator and monster will travel in this story. I liked it, worth a view, but I probably wouldn't watch it again. As a side note, if you have never read the real story Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, it is very similar to this story, but realize this is much different than the green guy with neck bolts in a leisure jacket, a twisted story of jealousy, anger, and vengeance as the newly grotesque sentient being navigates his emotions and learns from observance and shapes him on how other humans treat him.

I love you, Man   (2009)   {RomCom}  [8]
Paul Rudd stars as a soon to be newlywed, realizing he doesn't have any best friends, really not any true friends to hang with. He tries to go on play dates with some men at gym, some suggestions from his mother, all turn out flops until he meets Sidney (Jason Segel) and they become besties. I really liked this flick except for the band RUSH being a big part of the music because RUSH Sucks. Worth the watch.

Did You Hear About the Morgans?   (2009)   {RomCom, Action}  [7]
Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant are a separated couple from New York that one night witnesses a murder. They are put in protective custody in a small town in Wyoming. These city slickers have no idea how to be small town country folk in this cute Rom Com. The storyline is slightly cheesy, but the general story idea is worth a reboot, I'd write it a bit different. It's a rom com City Slickers kind of movie, worth the watch.

The Noel Diary   (2022)   {RomCom}  [10]
A famous writer's mother passes away, he is the surviving child to clear out her home. Rummaging thru belongings, he finds a diary of a caretaker of the family children that he doesn't remember from many years ago. A woman appears outside, the daughter of the caretaker; she came to town to find her birth mother. I love this story, very unique for a Hallmark, not sappy or rom com-ish, very genuine. The two stories intertwined, a women searching for her birth mother and a man surviving the loss of his mother, and dealing with bad memories of his estranged father. Must See!

La Dolce Villa   (2025)   {RomCom}  [10]
A light hearted movie about a young woman that buys a villa for cheap in Italy, to fix up and live in. Her dad shows up and tried to upgrade it for resale, but she wants to live there. The father has to interact with Spanish people and make a place for himself in the community. I really liked this movie, but I call bullshit on one thing... her dad is a renowned chef and he eats TV dinners since he got out of Chefing and went corporate. I'm sorry, but a chef will always cook for themselves, TV dinners are so under their pallets. Still worth the watch, loved this very much, close to my heart being an amateur chef, brush up on your Italian, no closed captions on the version I watched, so some of the conversations are in Italian/Spanish. (already reviewed, but wanted to redo it after re-watching)

The Woman is the Yard   (2025)   {Horror, Mystery}  [7]
When a women in a dark veil sitting in their yard, a recently widowed family struggle after the recent loss of the father/husband. Power went out and their phones aren't charged, the mother has leg injury, so they wait it out till the power is bad, only for the drama and mind bending to happen. It's a good creeper for a midnight weekend flick with loved one, especially those easily creeped out. I thought it lacked a little storyline start to finish, but props for a very unique storyline, I'm always a sucker for a new storyline!!!

Free Guy   (2021)   {Action, Fantasy}  [10]
Ryan Reynolds plays an NPC character in a video game, as a push over bank teller in a hostile first person sh00ter online video game. When he meets the girl of his dreams, he becomes aware and the fun begins. Believing he is a player and not knowing he's a video game character, he pairs up with Millie (a real person in real life playing the game) to try to find the stolen code somewhere in the video game to prove she wrote it and credit was being taken by a tycoon. This is a MUST SEE. The story is spot on and a great action comedy! Can't help but love the characters in this flick and the Ryan Reynolds comedy, 2 thumbs up.

Train Wreck: Balloon Boy   (2025)   {Documentary}  [8]
I'm not much of a documentary fan, but this was fairly good, also the poop ship was a good one. The story behind a home inventor that builds a large helium balloon and when it takes off unexpectedly, the family believes the 6 year old was in the cabin as it floated up to 10,000 feet. When the balloon touches down safely, the drama really takes a turn. Worth a view, also watch the poop cruise.

My Christmas Guide   (2023)   {RomCom}  [7]
Amber Marshall of Heartland stars in this Hallmark movie about a seeing eye dog trainer that meets a blind man recent of 2 years, as he struggles with raising his young daughter as his wife past 3 years before. It's a hallmark, cute and heartwarming, not just sappy drama, worth a view.

Come Fly With Me   (2023)   {RomCom}  [7]
Another Hallmark, an outdoor sports business owner that is widowed struggles with a daughter that is on the heart recipient list. Emma "Blitz" is a talented jet pilot that is brought into a blues angel’s flight group called the Thunderbirds, as she struggles to fit into her new position and try to juggle a daughter, her widowed husband, and a stressful new job. Cute and warm hearted.

Ready Player One   (2018)   {Fantasy, Action, Thriller}  [8]
A science fiction story set in 2045, where people escape a dystopian reality by logging into a virtual universe called the OASIS. The story follows teenage orphan Wade Watts, who competes against an evil corporation and other players to find three hidden keys and claim the OASIS and its creator's fortune. Wade must use his deep knowledge of 1980s pop culture to solve the puzzles and win the contest and the ultimate prize, owning the multi-billion dollar OASIS. The board of directors won't have this and the evil tycoons restore to cheating to keep their beloved cash cow. The effects were great, the storyline was fairly good, but the story sort of fizzled in my mind, like it was a force mystery.

The Witcher Season 1   (2019)   {Action, Fantasy, Drama}  [10]
Introduction to the key players, the Witcher (Henry Cavell) is basically a mideval warrier with special abilties and great fighting techniques hired to kill monsters for coin. Attending a party for his Bard friend, he saves a man and the man gives him a gift of suprise, which he doesn't want, which later will be an incredible story of a lost princess and the history of the endevor. This story is great, it bounces around a lot in time, forward and back. Basially mideval monsters, and mange's trained for kings. A mysterious enemy (the flame) wants to concur all. I loved this story and watched all seasons thru 3 times, there is so much too it.

The Witcher Season 2   (2021)   {Action, Fantasy, Drama}  [10]
The princess and the witcher Geralt of Rivia, are united and he brings her to the Witcher home and sancutary where she tries to prove herself and the story unfolds that other mysterious forces are at work and this story continues to be complex, whom can you trust, spies and deceivers all around

The Witcher Season 3   (2023)   {Action, Fantasy, Drama}  [9]
Princess Cirilla fortifies her abilties as witcher, warrior and mange with elf like abilities, but there is a hidden great power.

The Witcher Season 4   (2025)   {Action, Fantasy, Drama}  [9]
A new actor playing the Witcher, Liam Helmsworth not as good as Henry Cavill, but he does a fairly good job. Liam seems more feeling and not as snarky as Henry. The story continues, new monsters, more drama, more enemies, and new friends. Did the entire 8 in 1 day, it was very entertaining, and left open for another season. Ceri chopped her and DAMN she looks good. I would definitely suggest it, but keep an open mind to the new storyline and characters. Still the Witcher and still good story.

This Is The End   (2013)   {Comedy, Fantasy}  [6]
This goofy Seth Rogan movie, while attending a party at James Franco's house, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel and many other celebrities are faced with the apocalypse. There are tons of celebs and all play themselves. All is good until the apocalypse starts, crazy and goofy, I will watch it again, but definitely with a gummy. Campy and goofy, worth a view.

Luckiest Girl Alive   (2022)   {Thriller/Mystery}  [8]
A stunning performance by Mila Kunis about a girl that survived a skool sh00ting years ago, rebuilds her life trying to be a NYC writer, marry a rich man, and create the perfect life. The story bounces back and forth between her teen years, in a boarding school on a scholarship with rich and elite teens, and then her current life, a posh writing for new yorks finest magazine, and there is more to the story than you can imagine. A documentary writer finally gets her to share her side of the story years after the incident and we realize why she's kept quiet for all the years. Very intense drama, some may find it triggering (no pun intended). I actually was going to turn this off until the drama started unfolding. This is definitely worth the watch.

The Wrong Paris   (2025)   {RomCom}  [8]
A waitress barely saving for a trip to Paris for art school, makes a choice to join a reality show for the free flight, only to find out they aren't going to Paris France, they are going to Paris Texas to do the show with a beefy Texan. This is a classic Hallmark romantic show, good but weak story line and sappy. It is cute, feel good flick, it is worth the watch unless you don't like Hallmark, then pass this one by.

Radio   (2003)   {Drama, Sports}  [8]
1960's era, based on a true story, after some of the football team harasses a special needs young man, the coach befriends and lets the man help with sports equipment and hang out of the side lines. He doesn't speak much and loves radio's, so the nickname stuck. A very heartwarming story, a must see.

KPOP Demon Hunters   (2025)   {Animation, Fantasy}  [9]
Korean pop music stars also fight demons with their songs and magical swords. Made for kids, I found the story as intriguing as Frozen or Moana, some cute and funny parts, but definitely Asian roots. I lol'ed a few times and would suggest watching with your kids. It's a musical, lots of dance music and high voices singing, be prepared. I love the fricken cat!!!

Limitless   (2011)   {SciFi, Thriller}  [8]
A dysfunctional writer, loses his GF and can't hold a job, rent is due and his life is going to shit, until he meets his brother in law. He is given a pill that would change his life forever. his IQ goes into 4 digits after popping the pill and he starts rebuilding his life with stock trading and general knowledge of just about everything, going from a zero to a hero socially. Add in a greedy loan shark, some cut throat corp. American financial tycoons and you have yourself a genuine action drama. It's all good until his stash runs low, and he has yet to know where it's made or how to get anymore. A must see, very good story line.

Self/Less   (2015)   {SciFi, Thriller}  [7]
Billionaire industrialist Damian Hale (Ben Kingsley) is master of his universe, until he encounters a foe that he can't defeat: cancer. His only hope is a radical medical procedure called "shedding," in which his consciousness is transferred to a healthy body. After the procedure, Damian, now called Edward (Ryan Reynolds), starts a new life in New Orleans, but he's plagued by disturbing images. When he delves into Edward's mysterious origin, he learns that some will kill to keep it secret. This was a good movie, worth the watch.

Project Power   (2020)   {SciFi, Action}  [10]
A former soldier teams up with a cop to find the source behind a dangerous pill that provides temporary, unpredictable superpowers. You have 5 minutes, but you don't know what you will get, could have super strength, could be super fast, you could die or blow up, you just don't know till you try. A company is handing out the drug all over the city for free and tracking the incidents. Good story, great flick, worth the watch!!!

Idiocracy   (2005)   {Scifi, Comedy}  [10]
Average in every way private Joe Bowers (Luke Wilson) is selected to take part in a secret military experiment to put him in hibernation for a year along with a woman named Rita (Maya Rudolph). The slumbering duo is forgotten when the base they are stored on is closed down and are left in stasis until 2505. When they finally wake up, they discover the average intelligence of humans has decreased so much that Joe is now the smartest man in the world. Things in this movie are coming or already have come true. It's funny, but a scary look into a possible future. This is a MUST SEE.

Life of Brian   (1979)   {Comedy, Drama}  [10]
A simple man in biblical times, born in a stable the same night as Jesus, is confused with the real messiah and the laughs just continue to come as the comes of age and people start to follow him, even though he doesn't want them, assumptions made, and no matter how much denying it, people blindly believed he was God's son. Monty python cast do this movie wonders, it's a MUST SEE.

Warrior Nun   (2020)   {Action, Drama}  [10]
The story follows Ava (Alba Baptista), a young orphan woman who dies and is resurrected by a divine artifact called a halo, finding herself part of an ancient order of warrior nuns tasked with fighting demons. It sounds cheesy, but this is a pretty good action sci-fi. The lead actress Ava looks very much like a young Alyssa Milano. I love the narrative, told from first person Ava as she was paralyzed her entire life, now is walking for the first time and befriending some mansion squatters. it's a great coming of age origin story and I love it. Must See!

After burn   (2025)   {SciFi, Comedy}  [6]
David Batista starts in a solar flare apocalyptic world where he is recovering old works of art thru cunning and violence, but needs to step up and become a hero for the war torn France people as he attempts to find the Mona Lisa. It's an ok flick with some big stars, but nothing special to write home about, just another post-apocalyptic ok made movie. Lots of shit blowing up and action scenes, especially the truck and likes to jump over things. If you like Batista, it's for you, if you don't like post-apocalyptic flicks, this won't be for you.

The Cleaner   (2025)   {Action}  [8]
An ex-military (Daisy Ridley), now a window cleaner, on the verge of losing her job, is forced to stay late one night. She witnesses a hostage situation from outside the building taking a turn for the worst as the environmental activists take hostages, but corruption in the ranks causes extremist to take over and start killing, their plans are far from just forcing a corrupt energy company leadership to fess up to their payoffs and cover ups. It's up to her to save the hostages and her autistic younger brother, who is trapped in the high rise with the shareholders and the eco-terrorists. Daisy does a great job in this flick, it's a good action flick worth the watch.

DOC   (2025)   {Drama}  [8]
A hard ass chief doctor has a traumatic car accident causing an 8 year laps in her memory. She tries to get back into doctoring at an internal level and has to endure friendships and enemies she's made over the years, including some life changing family issues. The TV show "House", but with a vagina and amnesia. Good flick, love the premise, but not another frickin doctor series, ughhh, don't we have enough of them. Worth watching the first few episodes at least.

Wayward   (2025)   {Thriller}  [8]
Two rebellious Canadian teenage girls, doing drugs and skipping school, get busted for the last time. With the parent’s approval, one is taken in the middle of the night and sent to a wayward youth school "Twin Pines Academy" and the other sets out on a journey to find her best friend in a small Vermont town. A cop that just moved to Twin Pines, with a preggo wife whom is from the town, starts unraveling mysteries about the town, their wife, and academy. Two Pines Academy is not what it seems, something sinister is happening at this school and the methods of daily life and discipline are quite unorthodox and cult like. A must see, this is a mindbender and worth the binge.

My Dead Friend Zoe   (2025)   {War, Comedy, Drama}  [10]
Merit, an Army vet with PTSD has to tell her story to satisfy the court mandated group therapy run by (Morgan Freeman). Haunted by her dead friend, the trauma is too much for her to share, and time is running out to get signoff from therapy councilor. Merit struggles to break the heartbreaking news to him. Merit sees her friend Zoe (Natalie Morales) most of the day, every day, a snarky army brat with no life to go back to after army. I loved this movie, worth the watch. The movie really keeps you guessing and the ending it quite the surprise.

SupaCell   (2024)   {SciFi, Action}  [7]
Five Black South Londoners suddenly develop superpowers and must unite to fight a mysterious organization that is hunting them. They must learn to control their new abilities to protect themselves and others. The season builds to a climactic battle. I do like super hero origin stories, it wasn't bad, but I didn't care for all the gang related material. I'm also not much of a fan of time travel because most Sci-Fi don't get it right, but I found this binge worth the viewing, give it a try

Skyline   (2010)   {SciFi, Action}  [8]
During the night, a cluster of strange mesmerizing lights signals the arrival of an alien invasion. As thousands of terrified people are pulled into the maws of giant alien ships from the hypnotic blue lights, the survivors must use every skill they have to survive global genocide.

Beyond Skyline   (2017)   {SciFi, Action}  [6]
The blue lights are back, and this time we go into the alien ship to get a flavor for what they are doing, harvesting human brains. Most of the show is roaming thru an alien ship attempting escape. This wasn't as good as the original, some critics loved it, I didn't care for it, I mean plenty of action, but it was just alien ship gore and action.

Gifted   (2017)   {Drama}  [11]
A young girl (Mckenna Grace) math prodigy lives with her Uncle (Chris Evens) working odd jobs to make ends meet. She is forced to go to school and it doesn't go over well with the home schooled math whiz, not to mention a custody battle between Uncle and Grandmother. I loved this movie, a must see!

Troop Zero   (2019)   {Drama, Coming of Age}  [10]
In rural 1977 Georgia, a misfit girl dreams of life in outer space. When a national competition offers her a chance at her dream, to be recorded on NASA’s Golden Record, she recruits a makeshift troop of Birdie Scouts, forging friendships that last a lifetime and beyond. I loved this flick, McKenna Grace does a wonderful job portraying the growing pains of being a "zero" in that time frame society, and a great job playing a goofy kid, this movie will win the hearts of all the zeros out there! A must see!

The Life List   (2025)   {RomCom}  [11]
A cute Hallmark style movie about a mother that dies, giving her daughter demands to fulfill a Life List checklist of things she must complete before she can inherit her mother’s estate. A good life drama, with some tears and some growing pains, great story, a must see!

How to train your dragon   (2025)   {Fantasy, Action}  [9]
Worth the watch, it was quite spot on, with some nuances to the story, but well played. Live action version!

Lilo and Stitch   (2025)   {Fantasy, Comedy}  [8]
Worth the watch, it was spot on (Live Action), with some nuances to the story, but well played. The actors do this flick justice and CGI isn't too bad, especially the young actress that plays Lilo, a perfect role.

Sketch   (2025)   {Fantasy, Comedy, Drama}  [9]
When a young girl's sketch pad falls into a magical pond, her sketches come to life. This movie is worth the watch, it's cute and a unique story. The movie is more for older children, but I found it amusing and very unique idea.

Dune Drifter   (2020)   {SciFi, Drama}  [3]
The artwork is the best part of this flick, it actually makes it look like an offshoot from DUNE, but it's not, which is disappointing. This not so well done space flick starts with a lengthy space battle poorly done, ending with a yet another crash land alien planet. Effects aren't that good, acting and storyline lacking. It's a thumbs down for me, not worth my time, I stopped it 1/2 way thru. I forwarded and watched a little and it's the same old crash land on alien planet.

The Toxic Avenger   (2023)   {SciFi, Drama, Horror}  [5]
Starring Peter Dinklage and Kevin Bacon, this is a real campy / cheesy movie. Weak storyline and campy effects. Maybe drop a gummy if you're going to watch it, it's really cheesy.

Naked Gun   (2025)   {Comedy}  [4]
Starring Liam Neeson, I couldn't watch this for more than 15 min, and turned it off. Just too stupid and I don't understand why Liam would play this role, it's not him. It's a thumbs down for me.

Working Moms - 7 seasons   (2017)   {SitCom, Drama}  [8]
A good binge about a few different types of mothers dealing with pregnancy and the first few years of child raising, how it effects their love lives, marriage and jobs. Some good comedy and worth a peek. Extra points for 3 sets of nude boobs in the first minute of the pilot.

Nonnas   (2025)   {Comedy, Drama}  [10]
This is a must see movie starting Vince Vaughn and Susan Sarandon, about a man that inherits money after his Italian mother dies, he decides to start a restaurant in Manhattan starring real Italian mothers as the cooks, doing what they do best, cooking some great food. All I can say, is you put 3 Italian grandmothers in one kitchen with their own recipes , there is going to be drama, food fights, arguments and maybe a throw down. Enough said, a must watch, based on a real life story and real restaurant. Watch the credits too!!!

Dora The Explorer   (2019)   {Adventure}  [3]
I tried 3 times and I just cannot watch this bitch. It just isn't for me or entertaining. This is a life action flick and not animation

Brothers   (2024)   {Comedy, Action}  [7]
Two criminal twin brothers, one trying to reform, embark on a dangerous heist road trip, facing legal troubles, gunfights, and family drama. Starring Peter Dinklage and Josh Brolin, I found it worth the watch!

My Old Ass   (2024)   {Comedy, Drama, Coming of Age}  [10]
Staring Aubrey Plaza, this is a great time travel sort of flick about a troubled girl and a chance to really get to know her family again before she grows up to fast. During a goodbye party with friends, on schrooms she meets her older self. Very well done, cute story, MUST SEE!!! Aubrey does a great job in this and the story line is solid.

Incoming   (2024)   {Comedy, Coming of Age}  [10]
Four freshmen in high school get ready for their first school party, they're preparing themselves for something unfamiliar and terrifying. Sort of a Gen Z version of American Pie. It has some cute and very funny parts, worth the watch. The trailer is a big sell for me, watch that first. LMAO.

What Happened To Monday   (2017)   {Action, SciFi}  [11]
ONE OF THE BEST FILMS EVER. This story is incredible and the cast does wonders. In a future over populated world, women are giving birth to multiple babies due to genetic engineering of crops, many have 4, 6, or more. The government steps in and only allows 1 baby to be kept per family. One man doesn't have the heart to only have one and illegally keeps 7 of them. Each named for the day of the week, they each venture out the day of their name, until one Monday, she missing and the mystery starts there. This suspense action film will have you guessing and on the edge of your see. A MUST SEE, INCREDIBLE STORY! Noomi Rapace plays all 7 women, imagine having to switch into 7 completely different persona's as an actress, switching outfits, talking to air, and trying to do all this and make it a believable storyline, quite incredible.

Leave The World Behind   (2023)   {SciFi, Thriller}  [5]
Starring Julia Roberts, A family vacation on Long Island is interrupted by two strangers bearing news of a blackout. As the threat grows, both families must decide how best to survive the potential crisis, all while grappling with their own place in this collapsing world. I personally think the story was lacking and the events how they unfolded unrealistic. I loved to see Julia in films again, it's been a few years. Worth watching, but don't get your hopes up, and maybe drop a gummy before you watch.

The Menu   (2022)   {Horror, Comedy}  [8]
This is a mind-bending flick starring Ralph Fiennes and Anya Taylor-Joy. A renowned chef's elaborate tasting menu on a invite only remote island, reveals disturbing intentions beneath a flawless exterior. This is a mind trip and a freaky story, worth the watch!!!

Hit Man   (2023)   {Action, Comedy, Crime}  [8]
A professor moonlighting as a hit man of sorts for the police dept., descends into dangerous and dubious territory when he finds himself attracted to a woman whom enlists his services, starring Glen Powell, worth the watch.

The Adam Project   (2022)   {SciFi, Comedy, Action}  [10]
Time-travelling fighter pilot Adam Reed (Ryan Reynolds) teams up with his 12-year-old self for a mission to save the future after unintentionally crash landing in 2022. A must see, great Sci-Fi time travel story.

The Tomorrow War   (2021)   {SciFi, Action}  [10]
Starring Chris Pratt, people from the past are recruited into the future war and teleported there to fight a near losing battle. He thought he was safe from being recruited, but ended up being drafted and had to leave his family, to join an impossible battle against an ememy that is going to destroy all humans in the next year. This was a good flick and worth the watch, good storyline, plenty of action.

47 Ronin   (2013)   {Fantasy, Action, Historic}  [7]
Keanu Reeves staring in this Japanese based on some true events. Dishonored Samurai’s are called Ronin's. Keanu who is a 1/2 breed, is shunned by the people. Japanese honor culture overwhelms this story in my opinion, but take it with a grain of salt. The first 1/2 of the show wasn't overly impressive, but sets up for the last 1/2. There is plenty of Japanese culture, sword play and action in this Samurai story, some fantasy and love, worth watching.

You Don't Mess with the Zohan   (2008)   {Action, Comedy}  [10]
I love Adam Sandler films and this one hits it out of the park. Adam plays The Zohan, an Ex-military flees to USA to lead a simple life of his passion, hair styling in the Big Apple. Actor John Turturro, known as "The Phantom", is his arch nemesis. Still holding a grudge from his past, The Phantom wants to find him and kill him. This kind of raunchy comedy makes you love the Zohan character, with his 80's style goatee and hair style. The near super hero action at the start of the movie really makes me wish for a prequel of the Zohan in the military of his origin country. A MUST SEE!

The Jesus Rolls   (2019)   {Bad}  [4]
A spin off of "The Jesus" character from Big Lebowski, written/directed by The Jesus actor himself, John Torture. Critics and I both think this was a disappointment. The movie stand alone isn't bad, but this really has nothing to do with The Jesus besides 1 minute of bowling. I really don't see the Jesus character as a bad ass criminal thief and bad man as he plays it in this movie. I more so see him as a poser in Lebowski, he makes himself look good in the bowling alley, but it's all mirrors and smoke. I envisioned his home life as like that of a straight hair dresser stealing looks and attitude from others or movies. There is some fair amount of nudity, that's about the best parts, with a crap story line. I would have loved to see the antagonist from The Zohan actually be The Jesus. Just sayin. But I could sum this up as a couple criminals doing 3 ways and stealing cars. It's really an empty movie, but if you like John Torture, I would watch it, just ignore the Jesus parts, it takes away from the movie.

Gemini Man   (2019)   {Action}  [10]
Will Smith plays the best assassin in the world and it's time for him to retire. Even though his boss doesn't want him to after protests, he cannot be left alive with the ledger and knowledge he has, an assassin strikingly looking like a younger him comes after him to take him out. The best against the best battle it out in this action packed and full of twists adventure.

Equilibrium   (2002)   {SciFi, Drama, Action}  [10]
Sometime a good movie doesn't get the press it deserves. If you're a Matrix fan, check out the movie Equilibrium. A dystopian future where feelings are suppressed by drugs, special law enforcements called Clerics are dispatched to take out anyone that is experiencing feelings and destroy any hidden art/music or anything that would inspire feelings. A few scenes can only be explained as Karate with guns in the future. Quite impressive, a few twists, must see, starring Christian Bale, whom is a cleric that wasn't able to take his drug due to an accident, and before he can get replacement he starts to feel, a series of events start to unfold his feelings and he questions the governing powers and their intentions.

Oblivion   (2013)   {SciFi, Action}  [10]
Tom Cruise stars in this sci-fi action movie. The year is 2077, a drone technician named Jack Harper (Tom Cruise) is sent to fix a drone, his post-apocalyptic duties years after an alien war that the Earth won, leaving it scared and waste lands. The repair drones protect resource-harvesting machines from aliens, occasionally are shot down or break down and need maintenance. The mission take a drastic turn when a bunch of humans crash land unexpectately.

Edge of Tomorrow   (2014)   {SciFi, Action}  [10]
When Earth falls under attack from invincible aliens, no military unit in the world is able to beat them. Maj. William Cage (Tom Cruise), an officer who has never seen combat, is assigned to a suicide mission. Killed within moments, Cage finds himself thrown into a time loop, in which he relives the same brutal fight -- and his death -- over and over again. However, Cage's fighting skills improve with each encore, bringing him and a comrade (Emily Blunt) ever closer to defeating the aliens.

Deja Vu   (2006)   {Action, Thriller}  [11]
A top-secret program brings ATF agent Doug Carlin (Denzel Washington) into its midst to capture the terrorist (Jim Caviezel) responsible for a ferry bombing that left hundreds dead. Its amazing technology lets the team fold time four days backward and see the madman's movements via computer sims as he plots to kill a woman who could give him away. Doug realizes that the technology isn't just a computer simulation of looking into the future. It gets crazy in this mind bending flick, as you see how the future plays out... a MUST WATCH

Always   (1989)   {Fantasy, Drama, RomCom}  [11]
A Stephen Spielberg film that slipped by us somehow and never got its day. 1989 this flick was way ahead of its time. Please see this, you're welcome to borrow my copy. Thank u Stephen for this piece of heaven. Based on a movie called "a guy named Joe", this show is based on the lives of aerial fire fighters (planes that drop water on fires). Pete (Richard Dreyfuss), risks himself and his vintage World War II airplane in a constant and death-defying quest to fight forest wildfires, much to the dismay of his girlfriend Dorinda (Holly Hunter). His love for Dorinda and the advice of fellow pilot Al (John Goodman) convince Pete to give up his perilous career, but he flies one last mission. Pete heroically saves Al's plane from certain destruction, but with supernatural consequences. MY FAV MOVIE OF ALL TIME. A MUST WATCH.

Battle Royale   (2000)   {Horror, Action, Drama}  [8]
Hunger Games totally ripped off this movie, I found that once I got past the subtitles, it was better than Hunger Games, more action, more real and enjoyable than Hunger games. This Japanese based flick has 42 unruly ninth graders are sent to an island where they must battle it out to the death toll only one stands via guns, knives and plenty of other items, where culture / humanity turns savage like the hearts of all man.

Ghost town   (2008)   {Fantasy, Comedy, Drama}  [8]
Cute quirky movie i found brightly funny and worth each laugh and tear. After a near-death experience during a routine colonoscopy, people-hating dentist Bertrum Pincus is shocked to discover that he is suddenly able to talk to the dead. Constantly cornered by unhappy spirits who want him to help resolve their earthly problems, the misanthropic Pincus is driven to distraction.

White Squall   (1996)   {Adventure, Action, Drama, Coming of Age}  [10]
A coming of age Good movie, a group of young men work on a sailing ship with the trials that boy to manhood brings... this is until they run into the White Squall. A MUST SEE.

Black Snake Moan   (2006)   {Thriller, Drama}  [10]
A damn good movie. Christina Richie plays the best part she's ever played in her life. Great movie i can watch again and again. After her lover (Justin Timberlake) leaves to serve in the military, Rae (Christina Ricci) gives in to her raging libido and leaps into a life of wild abandon. Lazarus (Samuel L. Jackson), a troubled bluesman, finds Rae beaten and left for dead. He takes her in and holds her captive in an attempt to help her find a cure for her affliction. A very emotional and moving flick I would highly suggest, a must see!

The Spaceman   (2024)   {SciFi, Adventure}  [5]
Adam Sandler stars as an astronaut that meets up with a spider looking alien. It didn't get a good review, it had some mind bending thoughts, but in general it felt like a sappy alien monolog about its life and interactions. If you like Sandler, you can appreciate it, but it lacks luster and storyline.

Inglorious Bastards   (2009)   {War, Action}  [10]
Quentin Taranto movie, intricate movie about Nazi occupation and a group of guys meant to kill Nazi’s. Like all QT movies, plenty of actions and drama, twists and turns. Probably my fav thing in this film is Brad Pitt's Italian accent, I couldn't stop laughing. If you like QT films, you'll love this film.

Harold and the Purple Crayon   (2024)   {Family, Comedy}  [9]
More of a kids flick, I did enjoy this, very imaginative and unique, a character from a cartoon book, comes into the real world, with a purple crayon that can draw anything and comes to life, from other characters, to bikes, cars, airplanes, etc. Light hearted and cute, worth the watch especially with kids.

Bird Box   (2018)   {Horror, SciFi}  [10]
Sandra bullock knocks it out of the park on this sci-fi frenzy of an alien attack. One look at the aliens will hypnotize people and they will go insane, killing anyone and themselves. Survivors must try to make it by not seeing/looking, and feeling their way to a possible sanctuary down a rapid river.

The A team   (2010)   {Action, Adventure}  [7]
Worth the watch, I was hoping for a stronger Mr. T character and more cameos, but there are some twists, good action flick. Liem Neson plays Hanibal. A good version of the A-Team, but a few things I would have done different. Still worth the watch.

Dirty movie   (2011)   {Adult Comedy}  [5]
A movie all about dirty jokes. I got about 20 min in and gave up, I'm not a joke fan, I like comedy, no just raw jokes.

Weapons   (2025)   {Horror, Mystery}  [8]
A mindbending mystery about a class of young students that go missing, all but one. A hurting town, points the finger at teachers of the class. This is a good flick to watch close to halloween, in the dark, at night, close to midnight.

Distant   (2024)   {SciFi, Adventure}  [7]
A classic space craft crash sci fi action flick on another planet. One thing after another goes wrong, in this space thriller.

Dolce villa   (2025)   {RomCom}  [10]
A light hearted movie about a young woman that buys a villa for cheap in Italy, to fix up and live. Her dad shows up and tried to upgrade it for resale, but she want's to live there. The father has to interact with spanish people and make a place for himself in the community. I really liked this movie, but I call bullshit on one thing... her dad is a renoun chef and he eats TV dinners since he got out of Cheffing and went corporate. I'm sorry, but a chef will always cook for themselves, TV dinners are so under their pallets. Still worth the watch, loved this very much, close to my heart being an amature chef, brush up an your Italian, no closed captions on the version I watched, so some of the conversations are in Italian/spanish.

Dear Santa   (2024)   {Comedy, Dark Fantasy}  [8]
A dyslexic kids accidentally sends a letter to Satan, and Jack Black shows up the next day to grant 3 wishes for a soul, posing as Santa. Worth the watch, Jack Black does a great job, this flick is cute and funny.

Johnny Dangerously   (1984)   {Comedy, Crime, Satire}  [10]
Yep, the 80's movie, I rewatched it and if you have never seen it, or haven't seen in a while, you should watch. The airplane like comedy is a perfect fit for this 30's-40's style comedy, with puns and laughs all the way thru it, with some great comedy staring Michael Keaton.

A Family Affair   (2024)   {RomCom}  [10]
A spoiled rich actor (Zak Efron) has a film director wanna be assistant (Joey King) that does almost everything for him, this rom com is hilarious, also starring nichole Kidman as her mother.

The Fall Guy   (2024)   {Action, Comedy}  [8]
a good action comedy flick with plenty of actiona and twists for a stunt man trying to make it in the business. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt play this great.

Hundreds of Beavers   (2022)   {Action, Comedy}  [10]
This is a must see, I watched this in the GB film Fest. This indy film is like watching a live action bugs bunny movie. It's fun slap stick all the way thru, but there is a plot, and stay with it. I likely will do a gummie next time I watch it.

Anyone but you   (2023)   {RomCom}  [10]
Great rom com about 2 people that that hate each other after a misunderstanding, they play nice while attending at friends wedding and the laughs never stop. Syndey Sweeney and Glen Powell do a convincing job of love/hate in this hilarious comedy. All I can say is the spider scene had me laugh so hard I couldn't breath for like a minute.

Spirited   (2022)   {Musical, Comedy}  [6]
An interesting take on A Christmas Carol, an entire stage production by spirits for each time they try to help a person with the 3 ghosts from Christmas Carol. Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrel do a great job in this sort of musical. Plenty of funny, some twists, and it's a musical. I'm not a musical fan, but worth the watch.

3 bedrooms 2 baths, 1 ghost   (2023)   {RomCom}  [6]
A cute halmark style flick, a girl trying to sell a house finds it's haunted. Light hearted flick worth the watch when you're having an off day and want something light.

The Blind Side   (2009)   {Sports, Drama}  [10]
Sandra Bullock does a stunning performance in this sports flick where her family takes in a homeless sort of orphan "Big Mike". Sandra plays a strong and smart women in a football family. As they learn to teach the kid how to have a family, the family works with him to become a football star... a must see!! Follow up: look up details, there is more to the story, the boy is trying to sue his adopted mom now.

The Skeptic   (2009)   {Horror, Thriller}  [9]
After the aunt of lawyer Bryan Becket (Tim Daly) dies under mysterious circumstances, he moves into her old Victorian mansion. Strange events begin to occur, but he ignores warnings from his law firm partner, Sully (Tom Arnold). When the supernatural happenings seem directed at Becket personally, he seeks the advice of a scientist, a psychiatrist and a priest. Eventually, a psychic (Zoe Saldana) warns of a terrible secret buried within the house, and together they seek to solve the mystery. There is a scene in this movie that creeped me out for days. Worth the watch come Halloween!!! MUST SEE

Kims Convenience   (2016)   {Sitcom, Binge}  [10]
Warm hearted comedy binge. A disfunctional korean family owns a corner store and their daily trials and tribulations of older couple and adult children. Love it.

Fantastic Four   (2025)   {Action, SciFi}  [8]
Was not overly impressed. Dont care for retro movies. Galactus was kind of cool but the story was meh. About the only character I liked was Sue Storm, I was never a jessica alba fan with blond hair as Sue, she didn't seem like the right fit. I just don't see Pascal as Reed Richards. They did get Thing right close to the original comics, but was hoping for more from this flick.

Eat Pray Love   (2010)   {RomCom}  [3]
Barf. Overrated. A girl goes looking for answers around the world.

Rocky horror picture show   (1975)   {Musical, Horror, Cult Classic}  [3]
I finally watched it thru the end. Took me 20 years. What a POS. Timewarp is the only good thing about it.

Maze Runner   (2014)   {Action, Thriller}  [5]
Just a bullshit overrated action flick. Unrealistic and confusing. I would rewind time so i could unwatch this POS. Don't get me wrong, the effects and acting are great, it's just an unbelieveable story, to build such a great structure just to weed out humans to save world, it is just kinda dumb when you get to the end. And there are like more sequels, and I won't be watching them.

The Way Home - 3 Seasons   (2023)   {Drama, Fantasy}  [7]
Great time travel binge about 3 generations of a disfunctional family after the grandson dies. A touch over dramatic but still worth viewing. Certain people at certain times can jump in the pond and travel back in time to see events and help cure the family of their disfunction.

Derek   (2014)   {Comedy, Drama}  [2]
Disappointing Ricky Gerveis series poorly executed and crappy brit humor. Ricky play a special needs guy who says he works for the assist living home, helping residents but it's just a poorly written and acted flick. I couldn't watch very long, very disappointed with Ricky.

2 Guns   (2013)   {Action, Comedy}  [7]
Cute action flick. Denzel and Walburg do it justice.

Living With Yourself - 1 season   (2019)   {SciFi, Drama, Comedy}  [7]
mind bending trip. Cant stop watching. Weird and twisted

The Four Seasons   (2025)   {Comedy, Drama}  [6]
Based on a 70s version, a unique storyline. Boring snoozefest. Not bad and quite the turn of events. Worth checking out. Just keep a pot of coffee on. Each 2 episodes is one of the 4 seasons (winter, summer, fall, spring). It's unique but sort of weak, just a story about some family's and their lives.

Set It Up   (2018)   {RomCom}  [8]
A great RomCom about two CRAZY overworked assistances (Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell) that work in the same building, have absolutley no free time or personal lives due to their bosses demands and crazy hours. They decide to set up their horrible bosses (Lucy Liu and Taye Diggs) with each other, so that will free them up to have actual lives and not work such crazy hours. Must See funny!!! One of my favs.

After Life - 3 seasons   (2019)   {Comedy, Drama}  [10]
Ricky Gervis knocks it out of the park. This show about a widow guy trying to live (Brit comedy) after the loss of his wife, it's A Man Called Otto, only British and light hearted funny. This is a must see, 3 seasons, worth it. A little dry but the good parts really make up for the slow parts

The Intern   (2015)   {Comedy, Drama}  [9]
A cute flick with a 70 year old that is tired of retirement and joins a company that has a elderly intern position. Cute and worth the watch. great performace by De Niro and Anne Hathaway.

Squid Game   (2021)   {Horror, Thriller}  [9]
People with gambling debts are offered a chance to complete in kids games, only they find out later, if you lose you die. it's a twisted show about humans and greed, plenty of blood and death in this. Season 3...Not bad, but not good. some new games, and same look at feel, but I was not a fan of the ending. sounds like they plan to start a USA version... what is our fasination watching people d!e. love the premise of the original, I think they were pushing it on 2 and 3. sort of like Rocky 4 and 5.

Maybe Baby 1 and 2.   (2000)   {Drama}  [6]
foreign dubbed films, the premise was intersting, a weird switched at birth story. Storyline lacked a bit, but I did like it 70%, and how they worked thru things.

Switched at Birth   (2011)   {Drama}  [10]
A girl curious about her DNA after a science class takes a DNA test because she looks nothing like her parents and she finds out she is not their child. They find the switched at birth parents and that is when the drama starts. I liked this flick, MUST SEE.

The Starling   (2021)   {Comedy, Drama}  [7]
Melissa McCarthy giving a good non-comedy performance, dealing with a child loss and a bird attacking her continually in the garden, her and her hubby work thru the trama in their own ways. work the watch, bit of a tear jerker.

Neighbors   (2014)   {Comedy, Drama}  [7]
A couple living in their dream home have intereactions with a faternity that moves in next door. Revenge of the nerds without the nerds.

Project Power   (2020)   {Action, SciFi}  [9]
A new drug on the streets that gives you super powers, but only for 5 min. You never know what you will get, super speed, super strength, or you might just explode. One cop (Foxx Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is breaking the rules to try to take on those that weild this drug. Jamie Foxx is a father trying to track down his kidnapped daughter, and their paths cross. Good action flick, worth the view!

Straw   (2025)   {Drama, Thriller}  [9]
A women pushed to the brink of sanity, misunderstandings and poor choices turn this into a standoff in a bank. Very good flick, worth the watch.

Resident Alien   (2021)   {Comedy, Drama, Mystery}  [8]
Season 1 is best, I my opinion things go down hill and it is no longer the original premise. Cute comedy, but a bit of the story lacking. It's got teeth but sometimes the comedy isn't that funny

Kinda Pregnant   (2025)   {RomCom, Comedy}  [10]
Amy Schumer puts on a good comedy, where her shallow self is dealing with breakup and friends getting pregant, notices how much attention preggo women are getting she decides to fake it and things get out of control as the drama and hilarious comedy unfolds. This is laugh out loud good stuff! Must See!

Uncharted   (2022)   {Adventure}  [8]
I’m not a fan of Tomb Raider type movies, but Tom Holland puts on a good performance. Work watching, especially the flying ships. Like any tomb raider or indy jones film, it’s hard to believe the traps stayed in place for 500 years. I mean, I have things around my house falling apart after 25 years, not sure how those traps were not either sprung or rusting/rotting. Either way, if you look past that, it’s a classic tomb raider style with plenty of action. The film starts off pretty incredible, got right into the action, loved that!

A Star is Born   (2018)   {Romance, Musical}  [6]
It was an interesting story, but not really. I found Bradley Cooper’s voice very irritating, like I was trying to mimic Sam Elliot. Just irritating trying to hear and decode his low voice mumbling. It was great seeing Lady Gaga in a film, but Bradley ruined it for me, the story was pretty basic and the direction wasn’t 100%, again, Bradley ruined it being the director. Spoiler alert: Basically it’s a story about a drunk musician that is drinking himself to death and helps a young girl into the music trade. All with a shitty mumbling voice. I wanted to turn this POS off and watch the hangover at least there he’s entertaining. Extra credit for a full frontal from lady gaga for a split second. I would rather watch the Bret Unplugged rocumentary to be honest.

Happy Gilmore 2   (2025)   {Comedy}  [9]
It’s another campy Adam Sandler film, I enjoyed it. When I heard months ago that it was coming out, I couldn’t wait. Glad it went to Netflix, I watched it twice. Cute, campy, and comic comfort. Special treat, both the Sandler girls have a place in the show.

Old Guard 2   (2025)   {Action/Adventure}  [5]
this film lacked a good storyline, plenty of action, almost too much action, but lacking story, it's a forced story. A classic sequel suck. They set themselves up for #3, which I may not watch. If you like sci-fi action, you’ll like this.

Thunderbolts   (2025)   {Action/SciFi}  [8]
Marvel just isn’t want to used to be, no over expectations for this movie from me, I do love Florence Pues, so I watched this twice. It was cute, and interesting but the story lacked a little logic, and they got into head games, which I hate in movies. I want to see real battles, not mental battles. Seeing Florence go from bad ass to crying girl was quite disappointing, I liked her character because she was tough, not a cry baby. Not sure I’m sold this is the next group of avengers, sort of disappointing.

The Holiday   (2006)   {RomCom}  [9]
A bit of a chick flick, but very good storyline, I loved this movie. Two women swap houses for a few weeks England/L.A. Camron Dias, Jack Black and Kate Winslet do a great job in this rom-com from a few years back. I loved it, watched it twice, It’s a nice comfort watch, light hearted and good story.

The Lazarus project   (2008)   {Thriller, Mystery}  [8]
I’m not a fan of British movies, hard to understand the lingo and their comedies suck. I’m also not a fan of time travel movies because they typically get it wrong and some of the complexities of temporal mechanics are wrong. This is an interesting tv show about people that have the ability to perceive the last year and a company will reset the timeline 1 year in the event of global catastrophes. It really got good Season 1 Ep 3, good enough to keep me watching.

Superman   (2025)   {Action, SciFi}  [7]
I’m not a fan, I almost turned this off a few times. I really don’t care for the story. Actors did a great job, but it was too wonky of a story for my tastes. The best part was the dog, I loved Krypto and a saucy super girl to boot.

War of the Worlds   (2025)   {SciFi, Thriller}  [6]
I didn’t care for this. If you ever watched the episode of Modern Family where the whole show is Clair on her computer and phone, which is exactly it. I man with government clearance for spying using the best surveillance tech, monitors his kids and all the events from his laptop. I found it a bit irritating. I was hoping they’d go for a walk or do something not on the computer screen. It was ok, but you know how alien invasions go.

Quantum Leap - 2 Seasons   (2022)   {SciFi, Thriller, Mystery}  [6]
This rebooted show is pretty much the same as before with some story nuances. I did watch both seasons, still a weird premise, but sometimes almost forced drama. I liked the main character and they do dabble in a few interesting topics, 1 episode about Trans in sports. I liked it but I also didn’t like it equally. Good stories and good acting by all.

A Man Called Otto   (2022)   {Melodrama, Drama, Comedy}  [10]
I love this movie/story. Not all movies have to have a villain or a super hero. it's witty, and tragic at times. Just a great story all around, about life and it's ups and downs. I'm curious the genre of this style of movie. No real buildup of climax, just a story, almost segmented and all weaved together quite well, excellent direction!

Captain Phillips   (2013)   {Thriller, Action}  [8]
I think the best scene was the end, in sick bay, Tom does a great performance of a man about to have a nervous breakdown.

The Hitman's Wife's BodyGuard   (2021)   {Action, Comedy}  [10]
This is the 2nd Hitman's Bodyguard movie with Ryan Reynolds it's non-stop action and comedy. Samuel Jackson and Selma Haik got plenty of Fbombs, a must see, but see the "The Hitman's Bodyguard" movie first. There was a great subtle joke about Mace Will Do (Windu) in there, watch for it, well played.

Eric   (2024)   {Drama, Thriller, Crime}  [6]
Interesting story about a lost child and lots of mystery drama and head games. I stopped watching by 4th episode, just seemed to be a mystery just trying to confuse you, not bad, worth checking out. Cumberbatch does a good job as an A-hole puppeteer with mental issues.
